Since Trump's election, there have been many protests against him, but most of them have been in opposition to domestic policies. Similar to the riots currently taking place in Los Angeles as people protest against ICE. There has never been a notable protest by them against what their government has done to other countries and people around the world
It seems American are not too concerned about what their government does to the rest of the world. As long as their lives in the country are guaranteed and fully provided for. Therefore, I also think that the American people should bear some responsibility for what their government has done to the world.
You should not take any of that at face value. Most of the people in the protest are part of 2 groups. The first are paid agitators and protestors, yes there are actually companies and entities that pay you to come and falsely protest for something as a way to spread propaganda through physical appearance -- most people do not know this or are able to comprehend the scale on which this is happening. Second are people who are completely delusional, biased or derive benefit from illegals or whatever stuff is being abused. Think about it. If you create measures to stricter social aid, which will reduce corruption severely, you will have mass protests by people who are abusing these things or who have friends or family members that are abusing them. Should we listen to these people? No. Actually, swift and mass arrests for corruption is what would sort this thing out. This is where China is better than the west, even high level corruption is exterminated as soon as it is encountered.
The western world, Europe especially, is very corrupt from the bottom up.
According to my opinions Donald Trump represent a serious risk to global economy and peace. The reason is that during his government he seen very unpredictable and make decisions which are very uncertain for global economy especially when he used aggressive politics importantly in sensitive areas then its create trouble for many people around the world. But global politics not depends only on one individual and decisions are prepared by advisers and according to global demands. Its necessary to focus on long term stability rather than fear and blame and it can be important to understand that Worlds peace depends on balanced leadership. And also for expected worst outcomes open discussion and critical thinking is the key of solution.
This is a false reasoning that does not make sense. The inversion of this is that doing very predictable decisions is what guarantees stability and peace, really? If the main adversaries can predict what you will do and when you will do it, the battle is already lost. There may be a period of stability in the short-term but in the long term that leads to worse outcomes than this does.
Obviously Americans are fine with it, they were fine when they went to Libya, they were fine when they went to Iraq, they were fine when they had a war with Afghanistan, they were fine when they had a war with Vietnam, they never really bothered or cared. Americans have lived all their life in war, and all they know is war, so if any of their presidents ever open a war against another nation, they are not phased by it.
There are few other nations like that, but most of us do not live that. So we are shocked when there is a new war, and bothered by it, but they do not care because it's normal to them. Even in this topic, you get to see some Trumpers who are in love with him and defend him, even when he is causing hurt all over the world.
The last real war can be considered the Iraq war, and since then there have been only interventions in places like Libya, Syria and others but those are not wars. Actually we are in a prolonged period where the US has not started a new war surprisingly. Either something is changing or there is bound to be a problem soon. Don't blame Trump personally for the American war machine. It goes beyond both parties.
