Once we have completed our education, it means we are entering real life where we must be able to find work to earn an income because we cannot continue to depend entirely on our parents. Even if our parents are still able to support us, it is better for us to be independent. Believe me, parents are very proud of children who can be independent, especially if they can help improve the family's financial situation. This is like repaying our parents for raising us.

Additionally, we need to know where our skills lie. Having skills is a good start because it opens up opportunities to earn money and even achieve success. This doesn't show getting a job is difficult, it shows people gets educated on the same subject too much. Lets say that a country needs 50k surgeons but that's it, nothing more, if you have 100k surgeons then you graduated a lot more than what you needed, and the rest will either be unemployed, or move to another nation, or pick another line of work.

In surgeons case it's difficult, but assume accountant, or teacher. Like in my nation, we have nearly twice the amount of teachers as we need, how could they find a job if we do no need that many? That means, they shouldn't have studied that and yet they did, and not like this is a new problem, they knew this before they picked that in college and yet they still do it.

I think there are many countries where getting a job is a matter of luck. One of the main reasons for this is that some people have certificates but they are not as skilled as that certificate. What I will add to this is that graduates should take advantage of internships whether paid or not. Volunteer in companies and fields that you want to work in, so when the opportunity arises for a job opening or you made it to the interview stage, you have a whole lot of practical experience and skills that positions you as a professional ahead of the other candidates.

On one hand, I agree with you that it is indeed better for us to create our own work (either by doing business or starting a venture), but everyone has different interests, and I think for university graduates it is not too difficult to find a job if they genuinely search for it and have skills in their field, so the idea that it is difficult should be dismissed in order to have motivation to pursue it.

I agree, that's networking and there are trainings that are part of it once you're hired and they want you to upskill. Basically, if another skill and training have been provided, they're going to let you sign an NDA and you should follow that contract because they want also to take that benefit from what you've learned.

I understand this, you'll get other soft or actual skills in the profession that you have chosen.
