My gambling goals for the year 2026 are personal to me mostly. I can only share what I want from the use of the casinos, as areas I want improvement from them, which mainly deal with the KYC and withdrawals challenges, which could call for review on some of their ToS or policies.

I rethought about my gambling habit that had died long time ago yesterday. Recently, my elder brother had been winning consistently and I asked him for more updates on the kinds of teams to go for.

He triggered me to starting to playing bet from next weekend, but I set a goal, not much goal.

The goal is that, with the minimal amount of staking, I could win minimal amount of money too, not too much money. Amount of money I could use to buy patrol for my generator. Nothing much.

That's my goal.

My aims and goals in this year as a gambler is to win more than losing. Play less and win more. One thing we have to know in this year the areas were not doing well and the games we loss most and re-strategize the games and the casinos. You have to change games and Casinos to have a positive outcome in gambling this year.

I don't have any goal for gambling, rather follow the same route that I found to be helpful for me ever since I was able to control my urge for gambling, because I believe setting certain goals on games that there's no guarantee of winning could lead to chasing losses or chasing unnecessary winning that would lead to addiction and other debt problems.

Its normal to strive for success but on gamble only the greedy folks are eager for it. As for me I just want to be lucky and win a bet (that's all). Want my winning this year to be more than my losses (of which everyone wants). However, as we strive for success in betting let's not forget to implement risk management also because without a proper risk management, there will be a lot of losses and at the end, you will be addicted to gamble.

My goal is the same as last year
- to gamble responsibly
- to continue speak out against irresponsible gambling
- to provide resources and help to those who are struggling with gambling addiction.
- to be more take more gambling breaks because, each breaks brings clarity.
- to try more games outside of what I usually play.
I did not see where you included winning target, does it mean you don't have amount you target to win this year? Do you think it is a good goal you set without having a target of what you want to win, or you don't believe you can win in gambling? I know a lot of people have this mindset of not including winning in their planning since they believe it is not something they can control as their version of gambling is entirely on luck. ON the contrary, I believe that if a player sets in terms of the amount they plan to win, it will help them make decisions that will enable them arrive at that target. I have target I plan to achieve this year which is in 6 figures, I'm not desperate to achieve it but I will consider my gambling a huge success if I achieve that target.

It's not always like that, but choosing not to chase too much after winning should be our standard in gambling so that our gambling activities are not excessive, I mean we have to remain realistic with gambling even though we have goals, like me who wants to have more luck in gambling this year, maybe in practice I don't need to change my gambling budget like the previous year, just change the way I gamble, especially in football betting which sometimes only relies on instinct, this year I will change it so that the potential for luck is much greater, yes, even though I don't know what the results will be at the end of this year, But I don't think it's a bad idea to make this year's goal.

For 2026, the exact opposite of increasing that activity is my personal goal. I am duly focused on how to reduce it. Looking back over last year, I noted with surprise site visits that were far too regular. Bets had been placed in near automatism until realization dawned that a bad habit had formed.

Therefore, this year I’m trying to set clearer and more realistic limits. I want to limit myself to gambling once a week at most, and only when my favorite team is playing. This way, I hope gambling will return to being just an occasional pastime, not a routine. For me, setting goals like this is much healthier and easier to monitor, while also being a small but important step toward controlling an old habit.

Basically the plan for this year is the same for the previous year: to keep myself responsible and also I am planning to increase my volume on betting markets a little bit with the incoming important football matches we all are going to see this year.

I will reduce my exposure to casino games in favor of betting in sports, that is basically it, there is no much science behind my plan or purpose for this 2026.

I would not like this year to be the year in which I lose my common sense and become an irresponsible bettor/gambler.

Winning is not something that I have control over that’s why I am more focused on being a responsible gambler because in the quest to win, one may easily tip into irresponsible gambling. And since I am more of a slot player, nothing is ever promised including a loss. Today may be your lucky day and tomorrow may not. We take it as it is because it is not something we have control over.

What are your gambling goals? Please share as much or as little as you like, and I will be looking forward to hearing everyones GGs!
It's the same from the past and I only have to be consistent with my bets and the amount that I am willing to lose.

That's because if I'll make a goal and it's all about being profitable, I might have problem dealing with my own emotion later on.

Goals like having more profits with our bets will make me want to go further and have more which means more bankrolls that I am willing to lose. So that's just enough for me, and whatever comes, losses and wins shall be accepted by me.

Howdy!

We are almost done with the first month of 2026! Nearly 3/4ths of the way through the month and I am curious to know if anyone had any gambling goals for this year. Have you stuck to your goals so far or have you slipped yet? I think this goes without saying but lets all be as encouraging as we can here and respectful towards one another and their goals. You could have a goal to not gamble as much, maybe to not gamble at all. Maybe you have a goal to gamble more often? lol Who knows! Everyone has goals, but not everyone talks about them so openly so I think we ought to get a decent turn out here.

I will kick us off, my gambling goal for this year is to pick 2 sports that I really like and make a concious effort to study them & the statistics of the teams/ sports and do more sports betting this year. My goal is to be strategic and make educated decisions after studying the players, leauges, games etc. I also have a goal to go to the hardrock at least one time with my buddies for a little fun playing poker!

What are your gambling goals? Please share as much or as little as you like, and I will be looking forward to hearing everyones GGs!

Cheers,

tread93

My gambling goals, just to change the pattern I have been using from the begining of the season. I have created group chat on WhatsApp for more information. Anyone that has predicted games should drop on platform. What does not work last year to stop that same pattern of prediction. Also thinking of staking higher part of goals. I will not depend on own predictions but ask follow gamblers games. Especially over 2.5 and g.g in all the big games.

i rather set my goal on other things that will be more profitable and trusted than making gambling my goal. those that set gambling as goal or make it a top priority are getting addicted trying to make their dream come into reality. one of the worst thing to do is to set a gambling goal. gambling should be treaded as less priority because it profit is not guaranteed. just set a goal on other business and gamble with what you can afford to lose, otherwise you will lose what you cant afford to win.

Not bad for your set goal OP, though surely not all have that same perspectives as there are gamblers who are just playing to have some fun and not really caring about making decent profits, I mean for those who see the opportunity to earn and seriously considering this venue to earn, doing that research and study to increase your skills when picking the team or players that you'll going to support, it's very important to have deeper knowledge about the game for your to assess the game before placing your bets.

I did not see where you included winning target, does it mean you don't have amount you target to win this year? Do you think it is a good goal you set without having a target of what you want to win, or you don't believe you can win in gambling?
Winning is not something that I have control over that’s why I am more focused on being a responsible gambler because in the quest to win, one may easily tip into irresponsible gambling. And since I am more of a slot player, nothing is ever promised including a loss. Today may be your lucky day and tomorrow may not. We take it as it is because it is not something we have control over.
For a casual gambler I don't think that it is necessary to have winning target, since you're playing for fun with small amounts you will take whatever wins that you get and enjoy it. Tracking your wins will mean that you're a professional gambler who wants to see their profit and lose over a period of time, I guess they have a way of absorbing the stress of enormous loses. I didn't think that gamblers should have winning targets because they don't control the outcome, having winning targets can lead to chasing loses which will further lead to addiction. Gambling should be enjoyed without worrying about winnings, when you win take it and give yourself a good treat, if it's a lump sum you can invest it.

My goal remains the same as it has been in years past: to gamble simply for fun, to fill my free time, and to relieve stress from work.
And as usual, I gamble more often on weekends after a busy workday from Monday to Friday, using a fixed amount of capital that I always set aside for gambling. When it's gone, I stop. Likewise, when I win, I stop, and only then do I feel like I've gambled enough. And that's my gambling routine, and it will never change.

The goals are common and similar, just to have a better version of ourselves in gambling than previous years, it's not expected to go worse from this, we have to know how we can manage things up and also prepare for what will be profiting to us from every decisions we are taking for the the year, because we can't afford to go less, but better than before.
Becoming a better version of ourselves must be emphasized. We must be able to see that the past days or times were bad so that we can think about becoming better in the future, even if we are still doing the same things. Some people may still behave the same way this year as they did in the past, perhaps because they do not yet have a strong awareness to push them to be better. I agree with what you said in that, in any case, we must be better than before. I am reminded of a saying I once saw that we don't have to be as good as those who are very good, we just need to be better than yesterday, and that is enough.

That is a routine that you've got there and yet, if that's the goal you have set for this year. I think it's a good one.
And that's a fair goal that everyone should also set because if no goals and plans made, there will be a lot of reckless gamblers.
We don't want to be reckless gamblers because for us it should be gambling for fun.
Don't do it on regular working days unless you're not so emotionally attached on it and won't be triggered to gamble more when losing streak comes.

I haven't made any serious bets yet in this year, I was busy with my daily work schedule and it's really packed so didn't have time to spend for entertainment. I don't have any specific goals to reach, just stay as usual and avoid getting into any financial trouble as like it in my past years.

Hope you guys also follow the discipline while betting.
Same here, haven't really had enough time to place any bet since the year started, but I will definitely make out time for my best adult game  Grin
Maybe when I start again I will have some goals, but for now there are not much expectations, and even when I start I would not have much expectations, i'll just have fun betting that's all.

And to those that have goal, your goals don't have to be too serious
