Hello BitcoinTalk Community,
I'm reaching out to introduce EscrowMyCoins.com and to ask for your help as we move toward launch.
We've built a cryptocurrency escrow platform designed to make peer-to-peer transactions safer and more transparent. The technical foundation is solid, but we need the community's expertise to take this project to the next level.
Where we need help:
Marketing & Community Outreach: We're a small team focused on development, and we need experienced individuals who understand how to reach crypto users, build trust, and grow awareness in this space. If you have skills in content creation, social media strategy, or community management, we'd love to talk.
Beta Testers: We're looking for users willing to test the platform, identify bugs, provide honest feedback on the user experience, and help us refine our features before the official launch. Your input will directly shape how the platform works.
What's in it for you:
Early access to the platform and influence over its development
Recognition as a founding partner or contributor
Potential revenue-sharing arrangements for marketing partners who drive user adoption
Priority support and direct communication with our development team
We're not looking for passive promotion. We want genuine partners who believe in reducing scam risks in crypto trading and are willing to collaborate closely with us.
If you're interested in helping us grow or testing the platform, please send me a PM or reply here. I'm happy to discuss specifics about what we're building and how we can work together.
Thanks for reading.

I think that you can arrange a review campaign with some of the managers in the forum. They will arrange you a campaign and post in the services board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0If you want quality feedback, you will eventually have to pay. Also, if you want to escrow coins from third party, you will also need some reputation here. As you are a newbie account, nobody trusts you. Making a campaign would help you build your reputation here, so your escrow would be worth something

I don't believe you will gain enough trust to run an escrow system if you want to remain anonymous.

Vod's right. Escrow is a trust business and you're starting from zero with a fresh account. Why would anyone send you their coins to hold?
The established escrow providers on this forum have years of history and thousands of transactions behind them. You're asking people to trust an anonymous newcomer with their money based on... a website? If you're serious about this, you'd need to either doxx yourself (so there's accountability) or build reputation doing something else for a long time first.
"Trust me bro" doesn't work for escrow.
Not trying to be harsh but this is why most new escrow services fail or turn out to be scams. There's no shortcut to trust.

I can be interested in your service but I would have first all details for a deal. As mentioned, if you offer escrow you must provide some "collateral" or in general people must be safe to use a service. What is the advantage excluding a "primary domain" ? Please send a MP if you can be interested to have a talk/enquiry...

Quite a few years ago, one of the well known Legendary members set up an online escrow service where two of two (or was it two of three?) had to sign to transfer the funds. All went well for a few weeks until a scammer *deliberately* organised a ?cash for crypto exchange. The bitcoin was locked away. Then, the scammer reneged on their end of the bargain. The funds (that were locked in) and even the Legendary user was unable to release the funds and so they reimbursed the scammed victim out of their own pocket and the website was shut down.
Take great care if considering locking other people's crypto in a way even you can't access.

Also Escrow has other legal risks depending upon the country of you the escrow and the two parties. the buyer and seller.
I used to escrow I live in the USA and when new laws restricting the business were passed it made me no longer be willing to escrow as I could be accused of terrorist money laundering without doing full and total kyc.

Well, If they did use a 2/3 Multi-sig, It counts on 2 of either 3 parties to sign, In that case there is say, Buyer, Seller and Escrow Admin, You basically need 2 of them to sign in order to release the funds, now I do not really understand how they couldn've have access and I myself do recommend 2-3 Multi-sig, If they did a 2-2 multi-sig that's pure stupidy.

Well, In my case I have the leisure of not worrying about any legal risk, given I am not a US Citizen myself, add to that I am aware there are risks, as in any other aspect in life, yet someone has to take them by the end of the day. The only fact is, I am in a dilemma on whether registering the escrow or keeping it all anonymous, which most of my clientele prefer it that way, so it's more of Scaling ≠ Anonymity

From what I know and which has been suggested already, you can't get most of the marketing and promotional efforts free. You have to have a manager manage a bounty or signature campaign for you. Even that is after you've created an ANN thread here even though what you have in this Project Development section could suffice. I also know that some serious projects organize bug bounties to help them scrutinize their projects before launch. These things cost money and to get result, you need out-of-pocket expenditure.
Building trust within the community may take time and if you do not have the patience to do it, I do not see how folks would entrust their funds to you. What we're talking about is money and having you, a stranger hold it for them as a middleman. Even banks are regulated before people trust them with funds. So I guess you have to find a way of convincing people that you can be trusted.

This is an interesting story. I have searched with some escrow keywords but I could not find the thread. Can you find from your end, since you could be more experienced in doing so. The problem might have arrived if it was 2 of 2 signature. It would have been 2 of 3, while two reputable forum members for part of the 3. Meanwhile, Op this kind of service is best in a community that you are trusted. As said by others, build trust or build another project.

I think it's going to be a long shot. Many reputable members are questioning your intentions, and if you answer back with malice and anger, that proves you lack the right PR to run a big project like an escrow. You may have a good intention, but there are just too many loopholes in your account If you have questions, critiques, or suggestions, drop them in the thread — transparency and community feedback matter a lot here.
Technically saying, I am investing my time in replying to your bullshit comments as well.

I do not think someone can just question other's intentions based on an account, and I was not even replying with malice or anger, that's sarcasm for me to be honest.
