By old casinos, I mean those sites we used to play years ago but are no longer that popular on the forum today. Excluding Stake of course, since it’s still everywhere and almost every poll or discussion ends up mentioning it.

Of course, Stake can't be among them because it's always active here and many of those users who are not actively campaign for them are still gambling there for many reasons.

So do you still remember any casinos that were once active here but slowly faded out?

I remember many of them, but to what gain? What they had, the active ones have it, so no unnecessary missing. People often stay active with casinos that worth it. I only stay active with the ones on the forum, I just thought of it now. The more I see their presence here, the more I feel safe somehow.

This also applies to me, I prefer the gambling sites that are on this forum, but I also noticed that I prefer the gambling sites that I wear their campaign signature. I may wait for some weeks but later I will register an account on the gambling site and start using it to gamble. I like football betting a lot, if the gambling site has it, I will stat to use it to bet.

I missed livecasino although they are still operating but the change on their operation goal makes the site almost dead. No tournament, bonuses and promotions.

Just a literal casino without benefits from loyal customers. They offer one of the best promotion for a live games player like me which current available casino doesn’t offer.

I think I have missed a lot of physical casinos, but that was then. Even though there are other best casinos that have been operating on this forum, maybe it's not much, the reason I've been actively gambling can be said for more or less 5 years now, for that reason the first casino I knew and registered for is still here operating smoothly.

So I don't know what year the casino operated and the name of the casino, as far as I remember, since I entered this forum I have known several casinos that still exist today.
Maybe there are also those that I don't know more about who started operating on this forum, such as Dragon's Tale (2011–2012), SatoshiDice (2012), Primedice (2013), CoinRoyale (2013) and many others such as Bitcoinjack, Bitvest, Nitrogensports and so on, this is regardless of their negative or positive reputation, we are talking about old casinos or the early development of the Bitcointalk forum, unfortunately I did not delve into all the casinos that I mentioned.

I have not used any of those old casino apart from stake, BG game and I can't remember the total amount I won in those two casino since I don't keep record. Those old casino that are not advertising here again must have find another means of pushing their casino to the public more than they got visibility on the forum or they have seen that the other new casinos that are coming up have collected so much customers from them which is why they stopped.

I remembered Freebitcoin, Bitvest, 777coins, Yolodice as the place I gambled before. It is pity that Yolodice was shutdown and Freebitcoin have a bad name after so long they manage good reputation. But we can't say anything because the situation has changed and we should moves to the other casinos.

FortuneJack and Stake is also oldest crypto casinos that I also visited and played there. It was so fun to had a great time to played on all of those casinos. The memories will still be in ours.

As a plinko game lover, the old casino I miss is luckybit which can be said as the early site for on chain plinko game (maybe the first and the only one).
Unfortunately I have no big win when I was still playing there as I played it rarely since it was on the years when I had lower gambling funds than recent years.

I had wagered on just-dice, probably the first ever off-chain gambling you would have played in crypto world, before that we had satoshidice but that was on-chain and it wasn't that much fun, so the first ever was either just-dice if I am not wrong, or primedice which is the older version of stake where they have only dice game.

I do remember those old casinos and actually they're still here I think they have enough base players that's why they're still here such as Bustabit, I think the most in demand now is the casinos, table games and sports betting, one gambling site I remember is the Bitsler, it was started as a provably fair games but now look at it, it now expands into full featured casinos. I think most of the gambling sites that didn't success is they rush too immediately and forget that they should start small, like building small community of players and build loyal players. As you can see, Bustabit is still big but they doesn't change anything UI wise and gameplay wise but still, they have a lot of players, that's why building loyal players beats having a lot of features.

Market shows that these legends died due to their weakness to deal with Live Dealer games growth or huge money marketing power of big names such as Stake. To my mind we have not only lost sites, but also social culture where you could actually speak to owners and not feel like number. According to newer sites such as BC.Game or CoinCasino, they are trying to make again that group feel with daily games and social tasks, but they still feel it is not same as old chat board days.

I miss some of the former casinos which used to be very active on the forum. At that time, conversations were more authentic and there were actual comments rather than shill posts all the time. Some of them created strong communities and gained trust with time. I believe that the majority of them did not vanish due to the competition only, but due to bad management choices and loss of trust of the players. The moment there is lack of trust, even popular casinos are forgotten in a short period.

Im not sure if fortunejack still working or operating but I miss playing online gambling on their platform. Still remember when I won a good profit on them. You had idea if they are still operating? No idea since never seen their signature campaign since then. What I noticed is if a casino still had a signature campaign means they continously doing good.

Exactly, since if people truly missed those classic or old games they played for sure they find ways to play those games they used to engage before. Also I don't see anything that can stop them since they can provably go on gambling places anytime they want.

Also I'm currently fine with current features we have nowadays since all those games offered by offline casino also been offered by online casino. So there's no things that we can provably missed since there's lots of option to try on many online casinos available on internet.

I completely understand what you are talking of the ancient casinos. Those were quite appealing places to some degree, with solid communities, real-life conversations, and frequent offers to make playing more exciting. I also recall that I won a decent sum on some of them which made the process feel like a personal experience, rather than a large and anonymous one like we experience today. Most of these casinos failed due to competition, mismanagement or loss of trust of players in the long run. A signature campaign was a common indicator that they were performing well so when that was lost, it normally was a bad omen. I have not visited FortuneJack recently, but the last I read it was still active albeit much less active on forums than before.

I don't miss any crypto or fiat casino. I'm not getting personally attached to casinos, so I don't miss them. I don't remember about any "old" crypto casino, where I've had any strong memories about winning lots of crypto or anything like that. Some old crypto casinos probably exit scammed their users, while others were shut down due to various reasons and their owners probably created new ones. Since you've started the thread, maybe you should give us some examples of old crypto casinos, were you enjoyed playing gambling games and have any positive memories about.
