I remember an old casino that's still around, 888poker. I always enjoyed playing poker, and I never had any problems withdrawing my winnings with them. Now this online casino is banned in my country, but I heard you can access it with a VPN. Apparently, citizens of my country can't register anymore. I don't know why, because I haven't been there in a while. And why would I? There are plenty of good, modern, and trusted casinos, so it's easier for me to go to Stake and play there, since they've been around for years and have a good reputation.

I don't remember it. Maybe it's because I'm still new to actively enjoying gambling. I don't miss any crypto or fiat casino. I'm not getting personally attached to casinos, so I don't miss them. I don't remember about any "old" crypto casino, where I've had any strong memories about winning lots of crypto or anything like that. Some old crypto casinos probably exit scammed their users, while others were shut down due to various reasons and their owners probably created new ones. Since you've started the thread, maybe you should give us some examples of old crypto casinos, were you enjoyed playing gambling games and have any positive memories about.

I am not so much missing any old crypto or fiat casinos. I am not the kind of person who becomes attached to a certain site so when they are gone, it does not bother me. I cannot even recall any previous crypto casino where I had any memorable and huge wins. Majority of them simply faded out of relevance with time. Others were likely to wipe out scammed users, and others out of competition, bad management, or owner attrition. They could also have rebranded themselves and introduced new sites under new names. Given that you are a thread opener, perhaps you can provide some examples of casinos that you liked and why they were so.

Bitsler would be the perfect answer to this post but three months ago, they launched a signature campaign here, so I can't say that I miss them anymore. Btw from old websites, I miss rollin.io, safedice.com, betking.io, yolodice.com, secondstrade.com, bitdice.me and there will be some other casinos that I miss but I don't remember. I miss them because of nostalgia. It was a very good time when these websites were active and one of the top websites in crypto space, it felt like they were the pioneers of their niches in crypto.
From these websites, safedice disappeared strangely. There are rumors that their owner got arrested. BetKing.io scammed people if I remember correctly. Bitdice.me failed, bad decisions and bad management. Rollin.io and YoloDice simply decided to shut down their businesses.

I am able to connect well with the nostalgia surrounding the old crypto casinos. At the time, most of those sites were more of a community than a gaming playing place. Active discussions were present, fair promotions, and also trust which made playing a better experience. Early crypto gambling sites such as Rollin.io, SafeDice, Bitdice and YoloDice led the pack when it came to introducing a large number of users to the concept of a Bitcoin casino. They fell because of various reasons, such as bad management, lack of trust, scams, or just failure to compete in the rapidly expanding market. Nevertheless, those initial years are still memorable.

Some of them that faded here still continued elsewhere. We can all remember the infamous 1xbit. It later became a problematic site on this forum after so many scam accusations came up against it and then the inability of the company's management to settle all that. It left here but continued vigorous advertising out there. I saw quite a good number of its adverts on different sites pop up in my face.

Competition is the least thing that can put a casino down and make it vanish. Bad management and lost of trust are the greatest undoing of casinos. Once a casino begins to gather for itself bad reputation, just know it's about going down.

There is no way we can't get better casinos this days compared to the ones we had and played on back in the days, tech is advancing as each day breaks and so are the services built on technology are getting better and better too.
I've played on some old casinos back in the day and still here playing on some casinos of this days, I can say that of a truth, online casinos have improved greatly and this is what is fueling the industry.

But I understand that for some of us, we can't help but miss some of this old and no longer existing casinos because we are somehow emotionally attached to some of this casinos, potential reason being that we havent been able to win the type of money we won from those old casinos on this new and modern ones, which I would say is quite understandable.

Yes, im also this kind of person on which im not that easily attached into a particular thing whether into a material or lets say or talk about casinos on which if ever i would be transfering into something new then i wont be turning back again and having some attachment into it. Well, we do have that good experience but sooner or later you would be able to forget it out and would be that busy into that new casino that you are playing on. Im a kind or type of person who do just simply forget into those past thing that been dealing but of course you would be that aware into its name but just like been said  that im not that easily getting attached. Now that we do have new casinos into the market on which those old ones will be forgotten but still there are some OG casinos that still existing and running even up to this moment.

Missing them? Not that much, because I would be just that simply playing into the new one but of course there would be those time that you would be having that kind of favorite.

I can say it's Bitvest. I seldom played there, but I once participated in their signature campaigns. It's probably one of the longest campaigns and one of the first casinos that launched their signature campaign here.

I remember many of them, but to what gain? What they had, the active ones have it, so no unnecessary missing. People often stay active with casinos that worth it. I only stay active with the ones on the forum, I just thought of it now. The more I see their presence here, the more I feel safe somehow.

This also applies to me, I prefer the gambling sites that are on this forum, but I also noticed that I prefer the gambling sites that I wear their campaign signature. I may wait for some weeks but later I will register an account on the gambling site and start using it to gamble. I like football betting a lot, if the gambling site has it, I will stat to use it to bet.

You made a good point here, the recent new casinos with the new futures that have brought have overshadowed the old casino that not even many people would remember or miss them again because gamblers are already getting the desired results they want from these new casinos. Since I didn't even experience any of them that were here before I joined the forum, I can not say much about them.

Well I don't really know the reason behind that, but I think it could be due to bad management. Or maybe they don't work as we expected because if a casino does not give us what we want we would surely abandone them and look for a different one that is more reliable and also have all the things we are looking for in a casino, there's this saying that many are called but few are chosen. so yeah I think the reason why stake is still existing till this time it's because they meet up with the requirements because it's been long i heard about stake and even till now I keep hearing it that is to show that they are more reliable than every other Casinos back then and also they have a good management.

Poker is a beautiful card game, but not so much the traditional one which has few fun games. Texas Holdem, in my opinion, is the best version of poker that can exist because I think it is very fun and also fun to play.

Such casinos were not always unsuccessful due to scams, and more so, the inability of these old casinos to meet the expectations of players. Ineffective management, slow responsiveness, poor withdrawal time and ugly bonuses drive away players in the long run. Trust and consistency are important in gambling and once this is lost it becomes difficult to regain. The opposite can be seen in stake such a list as strong management, constant improvements, and needs of players met. That is why it has survived when others gradually withered.

Casinos become less popular in this forum when they stop signature campaigns. I am relatively new on the forum, so many of the casinos I have used are still in the forum and running signature campaigns. However, I will mention Fortunejack because I really liked the casino. The casino was also popular because of its strong marketing base in the forum. The reason that was given for the reduction in promotion on the forum was change of wonership.

How old are we really here that we begin to have old casino most especially coming from a country where landbase casino are not so popular, most of us become more aware about gambling when we came to this forum, although we have hard a few casino that we know around but we are not so familiar with them back then until we became more active here on bitcointalk and engaging is gambling activities.

Let not forget that gambling is always about the experience and not what we make out of them since most games ends in the favor of the house and not the gambler.
