siri, alexa, google home or many more are some of the well known virtual assistants or chatbots you can talk to via voice and give them commands
today i asked siri what was the price of bitcoin and it answered correctly. aren’t they just older versions of AI? though when i asked siri whether or not bitcoin will rise, it didn’t say anything definitive.
when you are sending some bitcoin or making transactions, will you trust siri or any other virtual assistant to do it for you? how safe are we with them listening?
No, I wouldn't trust an AI to make a transaction on my behalf, firstly because I don't want an AI chatbot or model to access my wallet and explore everything that it can without me knowing about it (which is what they always do, if you know you know), and secondly, I'm totally fine, both mentally and physically, so I don't really need to use such a thing to do such an important work of mine when I know that making a transaction wouldn't even take more than a couple of minutes of my time, so even if I'm too busy, I can still do such tasks myself.
AI has been progressing at a great pace, and we can clearly see its usage is getting increased in almost all sectors, but when it comes to financial sectors and managing finances, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people would still not trust a model to do all their stuff, unless they are already using only centralized platforms that they don't care letting a bot manage, but even then, trust issues could always be there, because you don't know how and what data the bot is recording and sending back to where it has come from.
