First of all, I don’t understand why so much plastic on many dishes: is that normal having plastic wrapper served on your dish?

Hahaha....So many of the dishes are not on a plastic..They're ceramics designed like plastic on them, just watch carefully at the edges of Most of them.

He is not talking about the plates. I think he is referring to the plastic wrap on the fufu. It’s not a norm to have your swallow wrapped in plastic unless you bought it. I hope you get it now @GeorgeJohn and @CryptoHeadlineNews

Alright.. I finally saw what you are referring too on number #10 and #21, and it's true some are plastic and others are ceramics, and the reason why most of the dishes are been placed on the plastic/ceramics tray pans is for mobility (i.e to enable the waiter to be able to carry the entire dishes at once from one place to another).. And here in Africa, we have different forms of tray pans, we have the aluminum tray pans, ceramics tray pans, rubber tray pans and plastic tray pans. And if you can check the image which I got from Google below, you will be able to see a lady carrying a black ceramic tray pan with snacks and drink on it below 👇

He is talking about the lylon wrapper, what we call waterproof in Nigeria.

In case you don't know, it is unhygienic to use such wrapper to wrap food as it can be unhealthy. The are made from polytene, it is a light weight of plastic, with heat from the food, it will melt and drop substances on the food that can be harmful to the health.

These plastic wrappers are transparent polythene materials that are being used to cover the food and prevent it from dust or from flies. It is mostly used on foods we preserve to be eaten not immediately, and some used it ti shape the food into their desired shape.

There are a couple things it seems I need to clarify. First off TokenTikas take down your post because unfortunately I don't need it. I don't mean to be harsh as I understand you are trying to help. However at the same time you should contact me first before making any move. I have plans in place already for a voting compilation and unfortunately I won't be needing this you just posted.

That being said Floczy I can see you playing exactly same negative role Agbe played last year but unfortunately I'll let it slide. For those that may need some extra info, this public voting constitutes approximately 50% of both Nigerians and Non Nigerians. All aims to prevent bias votes. A properly presented dish will speak for itself  this I won't allow rigged votes .

Lastly if anyone has any discussion or comments to make they are welcomed but should go to the discussion thread.

Those swallows that are covered with plastics (waterproof) are called fufu or loiloi and they are difficult to make which means some of the participants bought them from the market or a local store in their environment that is why they are cover with plastic (waterproof). If you are curious to taste it, you can get them at the African grocery store in your country, it tastes good buy the odour is 

Fufu a.k.a loiloi is ain't difficult to make it you know the process on how it's being made. Though we can't say for certain that those wrapped Fufu in transparent waterproof were actually bought because there are people that makes this Fufu in their homes for family usage  and have them wrapped and kept so it can be easily microwaved when they need to consume it. If it's well prepared by someone with expertise the odour doesn't stick to the hand that strong except it has stayed beyond normal required days from when it was prepared
