Hi am new to Bitcointalk, I just started posting threads, and any board and enter to post I try reading the rules first, and what I see first is mostly  "only quality post are allowed here ", but as a beginner I can't differentiate between a quality post and a quack or non quality pos, so what are the things that differentiate a quality post from a quack post ?
Writing in good English might be the first. Go through your write up and check for your self if it's at least readable.

Quality doesn't mean it make sense, it simply means be constructive with your write ups. Alot of newbies don't know how to do this so they keep asking same question over again.

What helped me on the forum was that I developed a habit of studying how reputable and high ranked members wrote. It's not always about posting something eye catchy.

So, do you mean that a post that doesn't make any sense can also be called a quality post? I don't think you are making any sense with this statement, because the sense of a post is one of the main things that makes it a quality post. No matter how good or correct your English is (if you are writing in a global board/section), your post can't be considered a quality post it doesn't make proper sense based on what's being discussed. So, quality does mean the post should make sense.

What helped me on the forum was that I developed a habit of studying how reputable and high ranked members wrote. It's not always about posting something eye catchy.

Good practice, every newbie should do the same thing, they should do more reading than writing until they get a hang of it, but unfortunately, most newbies don't follow this pattern, and they start making threads immediately after joining the forum.

Don't worry too much about it. Smiley You'll know right away if your post doesn't meet the "quality post" criteria - it will simply be deleted by a moderator. You'll receive a personal message in my messages notifying you of the deleted post from Bitcoin Forum.

Nah, I will not advise this.
IMO, as I have observed, most new accounts get nuked when they have consecutive posts get deleted.
It also becomes a workload for moderators if newbies have this mindset, to not worry about it too much. Cheesy

If the forum rules are followed correctly, newbies need not worry about their posting, even until the number 1-12 forum rules.

Let's start with you, OP. Registration date: June 14, 2024. You're not a newbie; your first post, and you're immediately looking for profit. You have alternative accounts, but you haven't gained any knowledge in all that time.

Meanwhile, actively opening new threads that don't bring anything new doesn't stop you. Let's ask you, what's this ? So, are your Bitcoins listed in altcoins?

Bitcoins has been doing greatly this year hitting a alt high of about $126k,

How would you rate your posts?

People are rarely sincere this days but if really you are new just as you have claimed, this are some of the things quality post portrayed:
- A quality post are very informative and educative,  moreover when you see good post it doesn't hide perhaps always noticed in every all aspects.
- A good or quality post is always spammed free, possible every lines and paragraphs always arrive with lasting solution and ideas required in the discussioned thread.
- Do more of reading than writing what you don't know, this part has been so helpful to even me because by the time you start navigating round the forum space reading other thread and post you will know what am talking about. This alone we teach you deep on things you wouldn't have ordinary learn on your own.

Bitcoin talk is a place of endless learning and if you are open and willing to learn you wouldn't be exempted.

It is very clear that there are many criteria conveyed by your seniors in the forum, which proves that the quality of the posts is subjective, you will be very confused about the answers, but I really believe that the most valuable value is in posts that are constructive and also informative, these two points are very important in my personal opinion and I think other people will also agree, as long as you don't break the rules and your posts are on topic, that's proof that you are growing in the forum, additional note, don't provide general information that most people know, the most valuable is information that is rarely shared but it can open minds and be interesting to discuss.

Well, I would like to add something in it, say whatever is needed and say it with some good words so others can get it. That's more than enough to continue a discussion and make it interesting and helpful at the same time.

You're not so new, at least you didn't register just a few hours or days ago.

My immediate question is: why would you start opening new threads? You've already opened one more topic than I did so far (I don't claim to be any benchmark). Do you really think you have something new and valuable to contribute to this forum (not very likely, also as none of your posts were viewed meritable so far by others)? Think about it.

You already have two posts deleted. OK, can happen. I've a bunch of deleted posts, too, not the end of the world. Usually one doesn't get an explanation why a post has been deleted. Most likely someone reported such a post and some forum rule was likely violated. I for myself try to figure it out why a post of mine has been deleted. It helps to avoid it in the future. I guess, nobody likes own posts being deleted, it hurts own pride.

Did you pay attention to the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ and tried to understand them? If not, put it on your agenda.

Put some effort in searching before you open a new thread. Ask yourself, do you really have something of interest and new to contribute? People are lazy with searching and some topics are posted a gazillion of times over and over again. How lame and far from new.

The forum's internal search function sucks a bit, especially for low-ranked users. But there are alternatives, like https://bitlist.co/search or https://talksearch.io

In some of your posts, your punctuation style is annoying to a reader's eye: you sometimes have no space after a punctuation characters. That looks terrible, is less easy to read. Show some respect to your readers and make your flow of words a pleasure to read, it's not too hard.

Very good advice. I understand that it is difficult for new members, who do not yet have much experience in crypto, to write on this forum and that they do not know what to write about.
However, it is a bad habit to try to write just for the sake of writing and to show some activity and possibly try to progress on this forum.
It is much better, at least in the beginning, to just read the posts of other members, learn some basic things and on that basis it will be easier to join the discussions and make a constructive contribution to this forum later.
For those who are new to crypto, there are also non-crypto topics on this forum that you can also write on.
Writing a quality post requires knowledge, experience and time, as well as some effort.

Make it simple; for me, the above post made by you is quack or spam, and this post made by me is considered a quality post. The narrative would be different based on what users think; I expressed my own opinion. The post doesn't add any value; consider it a zero-value post or spam as well. The post add some value to the thread or to the community consider normal post.

The more informative and helpful to the community and adding value, then it's considered a quality post. Because from a quality post, either you or some other members can learn something. The post where you need to post really consider a good post. For example to defend yourself you may quote and reply my post. If so, then it will be a good post in my opinion.

A quality post is a helpful one by answering a question of OP or any forum user, and helping that user to solve his question and issues. To have quality, a post must be information, constructive, helpful and surely need to be posted on time. If I make a post with same information like one or two posts above me, my post is not helpful and not a quality one as it does not show something new and helpful for OP and other users.

A quality post does not need to be long or too long, its content and helpfulness decide its quality.

I understand that it is difficult for new members, who do not yet have much experience in crypto, to write on this forum and that they do not know what to write about.
However, it is a bad habit to try to write just for the sake of writing and to show some activity and possibly try to progress on this forum.
It's only whether they are ready to learn and have enough dedication on learning. It's true for actual newbies, if are ready to learn, can learn about the forum and Bitcoin very quickly. It's only difficult for lazy newbies or people who are not actual newbies but want to make topics for asking questions not to get the answers but mostly to get merit. These people are not ready to learn and will continue posting similar topics, posts, and questions time to time.

When it comes to quality post I will say they are post that educative, readable and informative when your post is very educative it’s a quality post then when your post has no meaning and it’s even unreadable then it’s a quack post. So if you want your posts to be seen as a quality post then you must make posts that are very educative, readable and informative and those kind of posts attract merit and that is how you grow.
However some people may still see some quality posts that you make as quack even if they are educative, informative and readable but don’t be disturbed about them not everyone will value your post.

Make it simple; for me, the above post made by you is quack or spam, and this post made by me is considered a quality post. The narrative would be different based on what users think; I expressed my own opinion. The post doesn't add any value; consider it a zero-value post or spam as well. The post add some value to the thread or to the community consider normal post.

The more informative and helpful to the community and adding value, then it's considered a quality post. Because from a quality post, either you or some other members can learn something. The post where you need to post really consider a good post. For example to defend yourself you may quote and reply my post. If so, then it will be a good post in my opinion.

Just don’t waste time explaining to him what is a quality post. He knows everything, but because of the many alternative accounts, he simply has no mental or physical strength to create a well-thought-out post. And yes, many of these people on this farm are just creating posts with AI to increase the activity.

Actually quality posters is what the forum needs, but you can advance if you're not a quality poster, reading and learning is the key to because a quality poster

You can differentiate it, because it's easy to notice a quality post and none quality post...A quality post are a post that carries a vital information that's helpful to others...Also a post that's educational, why none quality post are post that is not understandable when reading and after reading

So to make a quality post, you have to be innovative and and also conduct a research of what you're to air out..

Good posters:
- Say a lot with few words.
- Know that sometimes "one image worth a thousand words"
- When quoting, only quote the thing they are answering to (not the full post).

A quality post is simply one that adds value to the discussion. When your post shows that you understand a particular topic, stays on point and explains why you think the way you do, you're making a quality post. A quack post usually lacks effort they're usually one-line, vague opinions, repeated questions without any personal input or probably lifted from somewhere and isn't your original idea. As a beginner,, you'll need to focus on reading existing threads, learning from experienced members and sharing your own thoughts clearly. Effort and relevance matter more than length.

Sure, if you can add your knowledge about a particular topic or given more information about what they are discussing. Writing a good reply to the thread posted and explaining what people need to understand about it in a good manner and a good constructive way. That is why before you try to post you need to understand what the topic is talking about so that you won't talk what is not relative to the topic that is posted. I see some topic posted in the forum but some of people are just talking things that is not really about the topic just to get something to right.

It's easy OP: if you have to ask, or simpler: if you wrote it, it's a quack one and you end up on my Ignore list. How's your alt farm going?
