I don't know how long you've known about Bitcoin, but if you look at its history from the beginning until now, you will see how Bitcoin has thrived despite pressure from governments and financial institutions, and has instead grown and matured. However, even though Bitcoin has grown, sceptical views and threats of market manipulation still exist, but that is quite normal as you will find such things in any market. The important thing is that Bitcoin itself cannot be interfered with by parties who dislike it.

With our help, bitcoin will continuously thrive in the market. And let's just say that something like bitcoin deserves to thrive because he got the advantages and huge potentials to succeed in the crypto market as an investment tool and as a currency globally.
Now with these current issues thrown to bitcoin, will it thrive then? Certainly yes, and we have proven these for countless times. Bitcoin is unbeatable.

Why do we still ask questions like this because we have felt its development since bitcoin was created until now. More than a decade to become one that attracts global attention is already a thing that is far beyond reason and that proves the development of bitcoin is very good.
The government does have access to very strong powers including to monopolize the currency, but even if they don't like bitcoin they still won't be able to stop the movement of bitcoin. Although there may be a push when trying to ban like China but this is not necessarily effective and the development of bitcoin will continue to occur and it is possible that the views (although for individual benefit) as some countries or politicians do will change which will actually make bitcoin grow even more rapidly.

This is a really generic question. But I wanted to Ask that Can Bitcoin really thrive?? Can it thrive in a world where The "Ultimate" powers like a currency which can be Manipulated, taken interest from, which is in their control, but Bitcoin is the opposite of it. I think that bitcoin right now is big for them to pull down. It is not that it's too big to fail but it's been making waves already globally and the foundation has been set. With all of the investments and money that it has got, with all of the mining operations and the power that it consumes, that's more than enough to prove that it's here to stay and as it stays, it can thrive. They can stop it through regulations on their places but that won't cover all of the places where it's allowed and people are using, buying and spending it however they want.

One thing I've always believe is that Bitcoin will really not be a means of daily transaction as Fiat.. even if that is possible, I do t see it happening soon. As much as different countries exists, fiat will be the dominating. Bitcoin can only be a substitute option maybe for large payments as it is now. The government like power and control over it's people and fiat is one way they do that.. they wouldn't be able to have control if Bitcoin thrives as much as we want... The problem of volatility is still limiting and fir the fact that the price movement is massive, it will affect everyday purchases... Yes Bitcoin will thrive.. and still have a lot of potential for growth but still far from where we want it to be
Satoshi made it very clear that Bitcoin was created as an alternative. He never said it would replace fiat, overthrow the banking system or replace the entire traditional financial system. But over time, this concept has been distorted by a group of people obsessed with bitcoin. They began to believe that bitcoin would replace fiat, wipe out banks...and spread that information Ultimately, the world is still controlled by government, and as we all know, they love centralization and control. Therefore, if we dare to face reality, the likelihood of Bitcoin becoming a daily means of transaction like fiat is very small, if not zero.

We know that Bitcoin's popularity has increased a lot worldwide and I think it has enough capacity to survive. Basically, Bitcoin's decentralization, limited supply, and no government can increase the total amount of Bitcoin even if it wants to, and no bank can control it, so its survival is more likely. However, we can see that currently, monetary policy and geopolitics and power struggles can create some conflict over Bitcoin. However, we know that in conventional financial systems, central banks and governments can print a lot of notes, control interest rates, and stop necessary transactions, but in the case of Bitcoin, no one can increase or stop the supply at will. We know that Donald Trump is a major political leader and he currently supports Bitcoin a lot and invests in Bitcoin, Bitcoin investment may be Donald Trump's strategic advantage, or a plan to create a large group of crypto users. But as you said, whether Bitcoin will survive or not, I think it mainly depends on people's faith, as we believe in Bitcoin and will believe in the future and the next generation will have faith in it. If generation after generation holds Bitcoin, then Bitcoin will definitely survive in the world.

You're absolutely right — Bitcoin’s resilience over time is remarkable, especially given the global regulatory challenges it has faced. Its decentralized nature is precisely what makes it so resistant to manipulation and outside control. The skepticism only proves that Bitcoin continues to challenge traditional financial systems and provoke meaningful debate about the future of money!

"Interesting perspective. I believe Bitcoin doesn't need the 'permission' of the ultimate powers to thrive. It was built specifically because those powers cannot be trusted with currency. Even if they try to manipulate the price or create a negative narrative, the global decentralization makes it impossible for any single government to 'shut it down.' The best step we can take is to stay decentralized ourselves—run our own nodes and keep our private keys safe. The more we rely on peer-to-peer transactions rather than centralized platforms, the stronger Bitcoin becomes."

I think the government has been in control of how our money works for too long. We depend on them, have to trust them and in the end we get lied to and the corrupt government does whatever is best for itself. The politicians take our money and redistribute it between themselves. Bitcoin is different. Bitcoin is completely out of the governments hands. And out of their control. So yes, Bitcoin will thrive.

I don't think Trump is manipulating the price of Bitcoin, but that is, by the way.
If by "they" you mean the government and the top people who own 90% of the world's wealth, then I don't think there is anything they can do about it. Its an open source, decentralized system, so they can't stop it from every single angle. They can attack developers or miners, but there will always be a way. Except they pull there resources together to carry out a 51% attack on the network, which would not be benfitial to them in anyway, I don't see what they can do. And some of the people who own 90% of the worlds wealth are now pro bitcoin, so that hypothesis is dead already.
If they simply decide to stay away from bitcoin, the average people will use it. There will always be a market for Bitcoin at least for the foreseeable future.

The beauty and also strength of Bitcoin over the years is that Bitcoin needs no permission from the government or anyone to thrive. Since Bitcoin is permissionless, there is no reason for anyone to be bothered about what the government does to stop the growth of Bitcoin. The government can only come in through manipulations and controls. They can manipulate the price of bitcoin and give orders through exchanges and other centralized platforms. The only threat bitcoiners stand to face will come as long as they keep relying on centralized platforms. That's the easiest means the government can control them.

Can Bitcoin Thrive??
As far as i'm concerned, Bitcoin is doing well. Of course, there were a lot of hurdles from the government at first, but with time, they realized that it is something too valuable to set aside and put an end to, so they had to unwillingly accept it, while still trying to create means to influence it. They certainly can't influence the network itself, but they've been able to figure means to influence so many people, thereby checkmating them through regulation and KYC related activities, through centralized platforms. But in general, Bitcoin is striving already because the government have no other option than to allow it. Large institutions are already part of it, so it's already a win if you ask me.

There are some power behind Bitcoin movement which some governments is still finding it difficult to stop their citizens not to know Bitcoin or how it work to favour Bitcoiners. Bitcoin can display in any country of the world to attract users from the country but some governor's and presidents are afraid of Bitcoin moment because they know that it has want citizens want from centralize coin.

Bitcoin from inception already had one of the most vigorous growth to actually bank on. It process from inception till now has been full of many ups and down but despite all that, it has still thrive beyond imagination. In a world which it is already living in where censorship and manipulation is the real deal of everyone to be in their interest, Bitcoin is still finding way to thrive and has pose as a great challenge to the traditional fiat currency. The thriving of bitcoin is becoming more and more realistic as the price continues to grow and adoption keep coming at its peak, so even in a centralized world, bitcoin will still thrive and achieve its purpose.

Since Bitcoin started gaining recognition and attraction of many investors, it has been attacked by different factors including the government. Only two countries has made Bitcoin a legal tender, all country doesn't even need to make it a legal tender. I think it is already serving the purpose it was created for and the government does not need to get involved or approve it as a legal tender worldwide but Bitcoin is already known and adopted by a large number of people around the world.

Let us put it this way, whether the government wil use this market or not, doesn't matter anymore. We have seen a very good example -when China banned btc mining and other related crypto activities, btc market survived and up until it is going mainstream. It goes to show that even an economic power can't topple the existence of btc or crypto.

it is not easy and possibly as you think and that is why most countries are finding it difficult to accept it and legalize it because there is no third party involvement which would has being easy for manipulation, you don't need to worry Bitcoin has already being created to fight these challenges, so no matter what they do, it will definitely thrive because this is not the first time, from inception it has been breaking limits and barrier to succeed and you should know that it is a digital currency that cannot be tempered with or can be touched physically .

On the one hand, the very idea of Bitcoin is a challenge to the usual financial system. It is designed as something decentralized: without a commander-in-chief, without a central bank that flips bets and prints money . Will it be allowed to develop really, if it does not fit into the other scheme? Will they not "drown" him in the media, making him dangerous or useless? Or can they try to take control - directly, through regulation, through a game with prices? About Trump you mentioned - and yes, we see examples of political influence on markets regularly. Markets are responsive to words, statements, even the tonality of tweets. So the idea that someone might try to pull strings with a Bitcoin doesn’t look fantastic. We need to be aware. The more we understand how markets and regulation are structured, the harder it is to confuse us. Do not put all the eggs in one basket. Even if you believe in bitcoin, diversification is always a guarantee. Support decentralization. The essence of Bitcoin is that it does not depend on one player. The more people share this idea and use cryptocurrency for its purpose, the harder it is to «tame». Participate in the discussion. Regulation will be without it and this is inevitable. But it is important that the voices of users and developers are heard as well, not only those of large institutions. If you accept internally that there will be rises and falls, it is easier not to give in to panic. Bitcoin has been around for a long time, and it’s still here. But his future, it seems, will be a constant game of "pulling the rope" between the idea of freedom money and the desire to control everything.

They don't want the thing for the people to be for the people - they want it to be from - them - for the people, and no pro will outweigh this factor for them, period.

Since the creation of Bitcoin, different governments have spread a lot of negativity about Bitcoin at different times. Many influential media outlets in the world have published a lot of news against Bitcoin. But with the popularity and use of Bitcoin, its convenience and freedom, Bitcoin has overcome all the negative things. Now many countries are looking at Bitcoin as a positive. But it is not possible to say what the government will do in the future. The current world economy is based on private companies. Many companies in the world have started expressing interest in Bitcoin for a few years. So I don't think Bitcoin will be completely lost due to any government ban or negativity .
