My father told me that he made his first thousand dollar from a friend from his university days, whose dad is a rich man. They employed him in their company where he worked diligently for them for years.

In university, someone in poor or rich background can be friends with the other people whose family background is above theirs or below theirs. They will leave to help or connect one another when the chances arises. That's why someone shouldn't only get the university degree, they should connect and make friends because they may be the one to help you

In my opinion, success in networking also depends on a person's personality. An introvert will find it difficult to have a wide network, avoiding crowds and building relationships with many people will be their choice. This is what I feel, even with my current job that requires continuous interaction with many people, it is very uncomfortable, and I am considering looking for a new job.

I mostly hear people say introverts can't keep good relationships but that perception is fake.Been quiet and antisocial is what differentiates introverts from other personalities but deep down,these people build loyal relationships that's  "quality over quantity."Don't get it wrong,there're introverts with an unshakable network.They have quiet nature and I know for a fact that it doesn't get to affect the strategic relationships they keep with people quietly.They just know how to interact differently.

A good suggestion, no doubt. We should always keep looking for creative people around us. As staying in those lazy people company will not let us to grow in our lives, as for me, company matters a lot. Networking is crucial and this is highly relevant. Without a network hard work will inevitably lead to stumbles and obstacles. The point is, building a network isn't about enjoying it quickly but rather a process of hard work. Building a network for yourself is about enjoying it in the future.

Essentially, to achieve success we need to understand that skills make someone eligible for a job, while a network increases the chances of being selected. This is literally why all the "business" people in the offices keep trying to build a great linkedin profile that is filled with people and trying to make sure that they are dealing with something that can make a great return. I know that this isn't that easy for us because we are not in that type of white collar work, at least I am not and I know many here who are not, but networking online that way worked for them.

I don't know why you are saying this, but networking has no negative impacts at all. When you have more friends or people who know you, you tend to have your problems solved very easily, you can ask anyone you know at anywhere to help you get something done and they won't refuse if you have a good relationship with them, and the best relationship to have with someone is the relationship of respect, you give them respect and they give the respect in return, and that respect is given in different ways, and one way is to get your work done if they can do it.

The only downside of having more connections or having a large network that I can think of is that other people will also keep asking you to get their works done if they come to know that you have a friend or someone you know at a place where they need to get something done. I don't think a college degree and academic education are the primary goals of university. Nowadays, you can study anywhere. The internet has made education more accessible to people. Networking and connections are essential while in college. They'll be incredibly helpful when you start working. I don't think networking can be achieved online. People won't give you a chance unless you can build a personal brand and gain their attention. Therefore, as much as possible, one should build a strong network and connections that align with their future career goals.

People work hard but they're not able to identify and take opportunities and the risks involved to get successful. Success embodies risks. There are always various opportunities presented to people on a regular wrapped around some risky moves.
