Won good money several times and some free bets too. It's worth noting that sometimes they require a deposit in the last 60 days, and not just a deposit but $50 at least. I have participated on countless numbers of free raffle when casinos and the experience has been awesome as usual, you may be lucky to win and if the case applied to you to lose, its still part of it as fun because you have to try out your luck in making several attempts in order to win, they could be rewarding once you're able to get your luck through, while some would have exhaust all their attempts after countless number of trials they made without winning.

Same. I do wager a lot just to accumulate more tickets before on Duelbits christmas giveaway but no luck on winning even the consolation prize.

I do this too on other casino with lottery based on wager but I never won a penny. The main problem too on this raffle is the draw is not done transparently. Sometimes they just release the list of winners without any way to verify the authenticity of the draw.

The chances of winning a raffle is very slim so some people will consider it a waste of time. Instead of waiting for months or sometimes year without a guaranty of winning, why not compound that money with low odd matches and see your money grow? This is basically what goes on in the mind of most gamblers which is why they abstain from raffles. Most of the time these raffles are free and there's nothing much of a requirement to join so if you're really a regular on a casino and there's nothing much to do to join, it's not bad to give it a try. If joining the raffle contest requires you buying some form of ticket, have it at the back of your mind that your winning chances will be dependent on the number of raffle tickets you have, and if you don't have money to acquire as much tickets as possible, then be rest assured that your winning chances is very slim, only by a rare type or kind of luck will you win a raffle draw with just one ticket when there are other participants who own millions+, thousands+ number of tickets.

Yes of course there is nothing wrong about taking the raffle tickets. It is all fun and that is my it is made affordable but if you think the minimum wage is unaffordable to you based on income, you always save you pennies and don't even try to risk it for anything that is not certain or you are not certified to loose it and move on.
So everyone that participated in the game just have to keep hope on who the lucky winner maybe.
You don't just have to expect nearly or an attachment of emotions because you are probably not going to win the jackpot in the whole or your life.

The chance of winning through the raffle in the subject is 1 in thousands or 1 in millions, but it mostly depends on the raffle promotion and requirements.
This is why I never directly participate in or anticipate a raffle ever since I learn about the chance of winning in every raffle.
Every raffle i have participated in is through my weekly game activities because I have seen a situation where the anticipation of a raffle increases the gambling activities of some gamblers. That's why i choose to participate in a raffle naturally instead of forcing/anticipating it.

If the entry isn't that much and the jackpot price is big, most likely it means you have less chances of winning because there'd be more participants. If the price is relatively smaller and the entry price is big, the number of participants are probably lower. That means you have a higher chance of winning. I've only tried the standard raffles a few times, where you actually have to buy a ticket to participate. Even when the odds are manageable, compared to other raffles, I couldn't win anything there.

For the promotional type of raffles that require wagering to earn a ticket, i've joined those multiple times at several casinos and only won a few times when tickets were still limited to one per user.

In the case of Stake they offer a weekly raffle of thousands of dollars and tickets are acquired when people accumulate wager. So it is not necessary for gamblers on Stake to buy tickets directly from the casino, they just need to gamble on their favorite casino game and allow tickets to accumulate for them to participate on the next weekly raffle.

Once, I was about to win, but an error occurred, and as a result, I did not win.
