Well, to be honest with you, gambling does not befit women especially married, like I always say, I can't ever imagine myself gambling and my wife also gambling, what kind of children are we possibly going to bring up?

People dislike gambling for many reasons and even for superstitious and religious reasons they develop hatred for it. Some actual hate it for the bad experience they saw a gambler who's close to them had and since then it becomes a stigma in their head.

 For gender participation in gambling men should definitely be high in numbers because originally gambling was taken as male activity and it's just recent women began enlisting.

Gambling is mainly for men. There are exceptions, but nothing more. This also applies to games in general, including computer games. The majority of the players are men.

Maybe in the past. More men are gambling than women but not to the extent it will get to the point that you will use majority to do the comparison. It is very possible that most women are not gambling where you are living but that is not the case all over the world. There are countries that women are really gamblling.

Well said, your geographical location is another thing that needs to be considered as well, it could be that in some certain places the number of women that are into gambling are more than men. Even though we know statistically and logically men are more of risk takers than women ot doesn't take women out of the picture.

Gambling is a kind of expense. So it's all about who makes the money. If women make money, they can gamble as they wish. In most parts of the world, womens handle household things, and men work for money. Sometimes womens make money as well, but I would say they are more responsible and they don't spend money everywhere. Men spend money on gambling, while womens spend money on beauty products instead. Men also spend money on their women's beauty products. However, I don't think Men will spend money on their girl who gambles!

No gambling isn't gender based. Because everyone can do it those who have knlowge about it those who learn those who want to earn short. There is no specific gender divided in gambling sector. Men woman both can do it. But maximum time men's do gambling more then woman but everyone can do it.

It's not basically as if men gamble more than women, but it's just that our men are more open to tell others that they gamble and don't hide it at all from others, but the women don't always have the courage to accept that they gamble in public, and with the gap, which women are more populated than men in this world, I doubt if our number is actually higher than theirs in the industry.

No argument about that mate we already know that men participate in gamble more than women, but women get addicted to gamble quickly and easier than men because most of the women that are gambling are not mentally capable to handle some losses because they will be depression if they lose a lot of money, I have a female friend that is a gambler but she's not addicted, although I always advice her to control her self when she's gambling. Gamble is for the adults and for both genders, you can only have fun when you gamble for entertainment.

I agree with you that winning at gambling does not depend on gender, it completely depends on luck, if luck is good, a man or a woman can win by gambling, and if luck is not good, you cannot win by gambling. To be honest, most of the time, the chances of losing are higher by gambling, and the chances of winning are relatively low. When it comes to gambling, the number of men is always higher, the number of women is much lower. Anyone can play gambling, it completely depends on the will of a person. In my opinion, winning at gambling is largely dependent on luck, gender is not the main issue here.

Gambling is meant to give adults a mature aspect of thinking and the dispensation of managing their feelings in terms of dealing with tough situations. It is necessary to understand that any person can join, but not everyone will resist economic impact resilience because their ability to endure in these situations greatly depends on the state of their mind. I reckon that the most important factor is to keep a safe distance regarding obsession as well and to prevent the downward spiral of unhappiness that will only ruin our happiness and worsen the finances of our family.

Gambling is done by everybody and I have in fact seen real female gamblers, however there are more male gamblers than females. This can be attributed to the fact that men are more risk takers than women.
Other times depending on the society, women experience much stigmatization when they visit the casino, so most of them don't even try. I believe most of them gamble online.

Women due to their soft nature don't always engage in what tampers with their emotions, and most cannot cope with the losses in gambling which made their participation lower. Gambling is not a gender activity but men actually gamble more than women.

Some female might have the ability, courage and confidence to gamble. But I think its only 20% out of 100% that would have the courage and confidence to gamble. But the remaining 80% can't. Women are so weak in terms of handling loss, and also weak in emotional control, most especially when it has to do with money. They don't have the strength to experience losses, because it can easily affect their mental health, and they may be easily misled by their emotions and they will end up misusing their fund and taking reckless decisions that may result in regret, feel frustrated, stress, anxious and depressed. Some might even end up getting hypertension if care is not taken immediately.

​Well if I may say apart from the fact that men are mostly the ones that gamble yeah sure we don't often see women. So we can't say that women don't gamble and we can't say that women do the probability is just there. Because of the level of technology like the internet indeed through the internet anyone can gamble online...

​That said when it comes down to the psychology of gambling whereby most folks play for fun in the sense that they know how to manage and calculate the money they are risking, so that they wouldn't make irrational decisions in gambling though it would indeed be tough for a lady to even have time to build that kind of psychology. I think that's a huge generalization. There are women who gamble, bet, invest, and calculate risk better than many men. And there are many men who lose everything because they have no control whatsoever.

This idea that women can't handle losses or become more depressed because of gambling is a very old cliché.

In the end, it's not a matter of gender, it's about personality, financial literacy, and self-control.
