I suppose for the casino to do that, you have to have accepted it as part of your notifications, since it's not mandatory in most cases. When you receive a message like that, it's because you previously agreed to it in the terms and conditions. Maybe you didn't read them like most people do, but I'm sure that would be illegal in most countries.

But this could change, although I don't think casinos will go that far. I think current advertising on social media is sufficient.

No, it is not ok, it would be annoying because this feature is a bother especially when we are in a mood of relaxation or sleeping, or in a bathroom.  Casino apps are calling us when in official business or downtime just to remind us of the promos and bonuses.  I do not mind them emailing me, but calling me because of promos and bonuses of the casino is them stepping out of their boundary.

Have you never signed up for a casino before? I get all kinds of random text messages after joining them if I forget to untick a specific checkbox during the registration process and I'm pretty sure a few of them also sell on to other casinos or circulate the phone number within their group. In many countries what you're doing is considered illegal, because it is unethical marketing and at the very least you would expect an opt out method to be included in every message - but they usually stop if you ignore them enough. These two scenarios you've posed are completely different as well, because one is related to you entering a contract to borrow money and likely getting a reminder on a payment due date, which has absolutely nothing to do with AI - just simple scheduling.

The emails alone already feel too much, and if they start calling, I'd probably get pissed. Also, wouldn't this be illegal for them to do without asking the gambler if they are ok getting calls from them? Also, as far as I know, casinos can get in trouble if they are sending promotional emails to gamblers who are not subscribed to receiving promotional emails from the casino.

That will be too much it will be seen by many as a way of the Casino trying to force people to gamble. You can't compare loans apps which gave people money and is only trying to recover their money back by constantly calling their customers to remind them of their loans which are due. The casino can't do that they should wait for people to visit their site and see what promotions that they have, I think that most Casinos even send email to their customer which was provided during the registration process so calling people is what I don't personally subscribe to.

We are getting more advanced in the use of artificial intelligence and we can stop this for now because of how far we've gone in achieving a lot from using it, however, we must understand the conditions and circumstances that may surround the use of AI in this modern gambling era, the casinos also should not because of AI continued to bug users with unsolicited calls all in the name of a reminder to gamble.

Why would a casino include it in their terms and conditions in the first place, it surely doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't waste any second to quit my registration process if I sight such because agreeing to it is just trading my peace of mind for nothing. With all the exciting offers casinos launch from time to time, that is how this robot would be bothering my life?

I'm not sure any casino would go that far in its marketing and if they eventually do, then players like me that don't like disturbance would have to avoid them or quit using them.

I wouldn't be okay. I hate getting disturbed by phone calls. For notifying users about promos/bonuses, email is best medium imo.

Look, in my opinion you're right, they're really exaggerating, because ok, you have a loan, you can remember it, but annoying people isn't even right, eh. Uninstall the app, or turn off notifications, I don't know how it works. In short, make sure they don't bother you more.
About the loan apps if they are notifying  as about the due amount of the last date of repayment, whatever they used for AI or the live agent I will say this is not a bad  idea because in some cases if we forgot about the loan payment then we will have to face the legal action as well also we have to pay the extra fees for that. So in this case no issue with the loan apps use AI call.
But I have disagree with that if  casinos are ask for the number so that they will can us about informing their promotions and bonuses. Even we are seeing that in some cases the local casinos are doing for their marketing

No" I'm not okey with that, I would prefer to login myself and just see the bonus offer in my account or better still they can inform me via email or text messages rather than calling me. Because calling me on the phone would make it look like I'm a core gambler that's in the view of other people especially those that doesn't like gambling they might be saying all sort of annoying things to you, and honestly there are some set of people that I don't want them to know my gambling lifestyle because they might be advising me to quit that its dangerous.

It’s really going to be annoying, how will casino be calling me on phone. That alone is going to make me stop using casino that implements that kind of futures. In my country, network services do make use of that future, it’s annoys me when I pick a call and I notice that the call is from network providers. If I have any opportunity to block them from calling me then am going to do that, but the more you keep on blocking them, then they going to be using other numbers to call you.

Being called for marketing purposes is annoying already, doubt AI would be any different. In my nation it is illegal to call for marketing and promo stuff, and yet they still do it, they also send you messages everyday too, I get like a dozen messages everyday from marketing purposes by some companies even though it is illegal. Makes no sense why it would not be stopped, just punish the ones how do it.

Also I have gambled in many places so far, and while I did share KYC, never really shared my phone as far as I can remember.

I hate it if I keep on receiving calls from the casinos where I've signed up and they never stop doing that.

But there is a solution to that because we can just block those numbers that have called us. Now, another problem is going to occur.

And that's about another number of theirs that will be used in calling again. Since I have never experienced this and maybe yet so far, I've just grateful that they don't do it.

Your loan apps may be different but mine before you are approved for a loan on the apps the will ask that you change lots of settings on your phones.
This changes the will include giving them permission to your call log, your contact, your message, your phone , and lots more so even if they call you and you block them they can call you again or call numbers you frequently do call and they gave other permission already granted by you.

This is hilarious sometimes pick the calls and have some chi chats with them, telling them how it's impossible to pay up on time, engage them in a conversation that would leave them with no doubt. Most times it's so fustrating on how they give one some frequent random callas that's tends to interfere with your other businesses. If casino should adopt that it'll be  so disturbing imagine getting the unexpected callas from random numbers and sometimes you may be  avoiding some calls. I think that'll be irrelevant for them to do so.

As annoying as loan apps calling me might be, I have to understand that I'm owing them and they need to keep reminding me because if I default, their business will be affected badly, but I would be livid if a casino starts calling me for promotions and bonuses.  The best they can do is keep sending me emails about promos and bonues and even that, there should be a way to disable promotional emails if I don't want to keep receiving them.
The phone numbers they collect during KYC verification are for specific reasons and not to call about promotional stuff, and worst to be with an automated voice.
I have used only one casino that made it mandatory to include a phone number, though. From my experience, they don't usually require it that much.

Despite what you used as example. Gambling marketing comes with a lot of rules and regulation in every jurisdiction which must complain with either when doing the marketing of their promo and bonuses, or it is something that have to do with an issue of the gambling platform and their users.
Therefore,  I dont see casino operating (especially the crypto casino) in such model of sending information about their promo and bonuses through text messages. If you're talking about the use of email i would have agreed unless the user game the casino the right to always send him/her text messages about promo and bonuses so s/he wont miss the event.

Since casinos also ask for your phone number during verification, what if they start doing the same thing, calling you about promos or bonuses?

Would you be okay with that, or is that already too much?
If casinos will involve themselves in this can of unethical calls because they want to remind their users that they have new promos, games and offers for their customers, this would be against individual privacy.
I don't see any sign of this happening as soon as possible because no one would want to accept this, casinos already have their users email and there will be nothing bad if they can be sending their promos and new offers to users contacts through emails and not through personal phone contacts. I don't think there is anyone that would want to be cool with this.

I will not be OK with casinos calling me unexpected for whatever reason because my gambling is private and such calls might come when I'm in public or with family and there are higher chances of them finding out what the call was for. A simple email email notification will be fine. Besides this, I do login often j to my casino account so I will always know about any promotion or bonus.
