I have seen some people would say it is good foe long term of 5 to 10 Years investment, Yes it is good for that but when the Years complete and the price is not good, will you sell it? I agree with you. Every investor has the freedom to sell and they have a specific profit target for their investment where they can sell when they reach it. But when someone invests for the long term, it is important to keep it for at least one to two cycles. Also, it is said to keep it for at least five to ten years in long term investment. Although everyone's goal is different and based on that, the investment period is decided. Suppose a person is investing for the long term with a specific goal. Very reliable and those that know about the DCA are not even taking any chances at all because they know how it has helped them for a very long time so they are doing everything in there power to do better from there initial budget in DCA and this is why does that have gotten use to DCA they don't want to use another method again because they know the advantages of using DCA and it is not always that the market is always experiencing dip so what ever the pricepf bitcoin might be I don't think it should be affecting your DCA plan because that is one of the mistake people make they feel when the price is hight they can not buy instead of them to continue with DCA.

There should not be an actual time for selling your investments because everyone has a target on when to sell their investment and if the time or limit you set arrives you should sell your investment of necessary and also investment sometimes are done because of emergency purpose so of there is any important thing to do or emergency which need solution that should be the right time to sell your invest of part of the investment.
