It is natural to be scared when you see the current state of altcoin, it is not unfounded at all. From what I have seen except for the top 10 coin all the others are under selling pressure. The liquidity of small token has completely dried up and all the money in the market is now running toward Bitcoin. If you ask me for advice on the next asset to buy this period, then I will say you should buy Bitcoin instead of altcoins although between the top ten altcoins can come in as an alternative.

I don’t encourage people to invest in altcoins, and I don’t also leave much amount of money in altcoins because I don’t trust them. I don’t know if altcoins are going to dump more, but when investing in altcoins, we are just suppose to be careful, because altcoins are just full of surprises, they can decide to surprise us at any moment.

If you are the type that really likes to invest in altcoins, then make sure you are not going for new coins entering the crypto space, don’t invest in all this shitcoins, because within a very short period of time, they going to fail you. So if you are investing in altcoins, then just invest in strong altcoins, those ones are going to be difficult to wipe off.

There are many altcoins out there that are shitcoins with no real values even when holding them for years, and so yea i think the Op isn’t advising against investing in altcoins but just to let anyone know especially those who hold some altcoins that they should not hold it any longer because especially in this period knowing fully well that most of this altcoins depends largely on the performances of bitcoin for Their growth and since we are in a bear market now I don’t think it’s advisable for anyone to invest or hold altcoins for now. Sometimes altcoins movement doesn't directly follow bitcoin trends, because some things can be responsible for coins value gains that is outside the general cryptocurrency market, although bitcoin have been the main market force and crypto market chain is always propelled by bitcoin market but then we still have few exceptions like when Ethereum did it last all time high, bitcoin wasn't in any way in bull season then, so that example of the exception we are talking about.

Just less than a month and your prophesy is almost turning to true. I think you are right. Altcoins are getting slash and slash every day even Bitcoin is not helpful at this point in time. However, this is the nature of the market. If you are not ready to accept this loss, you don't deserve anything the market brings to you. It's the volatility that make up the market, same way the market dump when there is uncertainty, there is nothing bullish about to the Altcoins.

You can also trade on Altcoins you know, you never can tell what profit you can make as they are losing value. There are people that are making it as the market is falling. There is possibility of Bitcoin reaching $50k, even though I'm not sure about this speculations but everything about the market says we are going there and as long as Bitcoin is dumping, you should expect Altcoins both the strong and the weak ones to dump hard.

In the current situation, Altcoin has been destroyed the most, due to the fall in the price of Bitcoin, the market has been dumped so much that the capital of Altcoin is being exhausted within a moment. However, I have warned many investors before that Altcoin should not be invested because the risk is the highest. In the greed of expecting more benefits, people take additional risks which puts all the capital in danger.
