When it comes to gambling, you can never get it right in prediction, and if accuracy is all you care about just to bet, you may be getting it wrong. Gambling can’t be predicted, and no matter how you think you are right with your predictions in gambling, there is never a guarantee.

Discipline also plays an important role. Discipline will make you understand in gambling that it is not accuracy that matters but the discipline to do the right thing, which is to gamble with the amount that you can afford to lose. Having the best odds in gambling doesn't guarantee a win; one also needs discipline to go about gambling in the right way to reduce the risk of loss.

Do you win through discipline or accurate predictions? I think the answer is obvious. Being disciplined doesn't make you a winning gambler; getting the predictions right does.

Being disciplined would stop you from being a gambler altogether. In other words, disciplined gamblers do not exist. Or if they do, they will gamble with limited amounts. Accuracy in predicting can never be 100%, it is game of chance and even after a lot of homework, your prediction might and will turn out to be wrong.

I have witnessed average foretellers remain profitable just because they know when to pull the plug, how much to risk, never to pursue losses. At the same time, experienced analysts occasionally fall due to confidence becoming overbetting.

I think precision provides a benefit, but discipline safeguards that benefit. Gambling is not about winning frequently, but being able to survive bad formations. When the discipline is formed as a habit, the outcome tends to be more consistent with time.

If you wanna take gambling as a strategy and not just rely on luck then discipline or following the rule will be the main foundation. Although you can sometime get some winning for good luck however you have to follow the rule to be successful in the long run. For example setting a budget, managing your saving or bank balance well and not going beyond the limit. These habit will help you survive in the market. I definitely think that discipline is a very important thing. Of course, discipline should be right in the case of gambling. Because at this time, no matter how accurate you try to make predictions, you will not succeed. Because winning will depend on your luck. You are really point. Accuracy captures all the attention as it feels measurable and impressive, yet discipline is just what keeps one in the game. Good predictions is nothing when poor bankroll management clears you out after some bad runs. To overstake, pursue losses, or betting emotionally could erase any edge fast. On a different view, one with average picks yet strick staking, limits that is clear, and control over emotions can endure much longer and often end up ahead. Size of position is decided by discipline, timing, and when to quit. Accuracy only decides selection. Survival in long term and consistency come first from discipline. ​Well if I may say well for most folks discipline will only limit them from taking the risk when required in gambling because at times you will feel hesitant to gamble because you are scared of the odds of you losing. Discipline and gambling do not align very well in the same sentence in my opinion. This because every gambler loves to win and most of these sport bettors try to do their best and win as many bets as they can yet as you say they lose more than win in most cases. For me this has not a lot to do with discipline rather than no one can predict outside factors in sport betting which are massive nowadays, for me the main one that bring these surprise results every single day are the referees, I know I have said it many other times yet I cannot emphasize how important a referee is in a soccer game, they have full power, no one says a thing to them and these surprise results keep coming. So no matter how disciplined you may be you cannot outperform the referees and cannot make it a reality to win more than you lose.
