I haven't been able to get back the money I lost. I've tried so many times, but the results are always negative.

It's not impossible to recover losses when you're chasing losses, but it's not common. If it hasn't happened to you, I guess it's because you're unlucky or you're basing your opinion on a small sample size.

In any case, it's a bad system. It's better to set sessions with a maximum loss limit and stick to it. I would add a time limit as well.

These people don't know that it is by luck to win and a lot of people tried but only very few actually won very big and it is the big stories that reached their ears. If people understand that there is no guarantee to make money in gambling I think they will not chase loses when they gamble, they will learn to be in control.

I don't really consider skill as one of the factor that aid winning but luck is a major factor because without it winning is not possible and this luck vary with people or persons and the worst mistake someone will make will be to compare themselves with someone that is very lucky and is winning. Chasing losses doesn't happen in a day. My experience is that it takes several days of accumulated losses to get there.
Gambling is part of the game, and the game is just two things: losing or winning.
