There's no much benefit in chasing after losses in gambling because we are expected to have this already in mind that we are using our money to gamble and it's either we win or lose, but even though some were aware of all this, they still go ahead to prioritize getting money from gambling by chasing after their losses rather than having it as fun.

The only benefit that we get from chasing our losses is that we've got an extended period of having fun. But that fun is going to be at our expense because usually the results when we chase them is that we'll lose more. Basically it is always easy to say but difficult to do, but yes I am also well aware that there is no better way than to stop and rest after losing especially in large numbers, one of the reasons why chasing losses is not a solution to achieving recovery is because in gambling first there are no guarantees, there is no way to win and no matter how hard you try it still will not guarantee that you will win and achieve recovery.

The way your gambling should be is similar to way you are subscribed to anything. You put aside a certain amount of money, something small, lets say 50 dollars, nothing big (this depends on your income of course) and if you do that, then you end up with playing with that.

So, if you end up losing all that 50 dollars on day 1, then you wait another month until you get your salary again and do not play for 29 days of that month, if you are done ath 20th then you wait for another 10 days. If you can do this then you are not going to be worried because that discipline will make sure that you never end up running out of money or overspending on gambling.

Learn from the loss is the way to gain from the pain, that's the ideal to do.  If you can somehow manage to magic up a lesson worth or equal to the loss in that you gain, learn or further your overall chances in the game then you can advance upstream, against the bias that is on top of you.

yes that's correct. A gambler will chase after losses if they used an amount they can't afford to lose to gamble. The fear of losing this amount especially when the money was intended for something important. I agree that a gambler who is disciplined will not chase loses because he is in total control of his gambling habit, I think we mature in gambling, initially a newly disciplined gambler will be having chalanges but with time they won't. Gambling is addictive and if you are lose chaser it won't be easy to just change overnight although some have that rigid discipline but you can start gradually.
