Betting bigger after big win is actually normal if it is still done with full control or as long as we are ready for the worse case.

Sometime we need to try something called by "go big or go home", it is risky of course but if we do it with what we have just won (better not the whole winning) then it is still fine IMO.

In the beginning often the winning situation made me feel overconfident and bet blindly, but over time and after I experienced many regrets because of excessive confidence it made me more able to control myself especially after winning big, usually I always tell myself that “this is just because luck came at the right time, not because I'm great or anything”.

Those who gamble properly can enjoy every win they win, whether the amount is small or big, a responsible gambler can stop himself and enjoy that win. But in this case a greedy gambler who only wants to achieve big success from gambling, can never enjoy them all, they win, but they use that win to play more later, and in the end they lose them too, here everything depends on the mentality. I don't really know how it works for others, but for me it has a different effect from time to time, for example, sometimes when I win a good amount while gambling, I am satisfied with it and take a break from gambling for a few days and enjoy it.

Winning big money and stop betting for some time can be a wise decision if actually you make good use of the money won from the bet and sometimes stopping doesn't really mean someone is wise because some will not still make good use of the money so it is almost same things as gambling with it. People who gamble after winning big amount of money doesn't also mean they are greedy, it is a choice and some people continue gambling after winning but with carefulness. And neither of those are more beneficial then other, as you don't get more gains by being more careful or more reckless. You can believe that either of them is the reason you won, but it's all hind sight connection of the action. In reality you didn't know which was the right approach before the results come in.

It's similar to magical thinking and superstition. Only difference being that you don't believe your actions are tied to results beforehand, but afterwards when you see that you chose wrong, and you believe that it was obvious in hindsight.

When I think about it, losing most of the time makes me want to play even more as if there is an urge to 'pay back' the previous result. On the other hand, winning can actually make me even more engrossed.
