Whether we like it or not, AI is coming and there's no stopping that. Some are going back to college to get another degree. Some are aiming to learn about computer science because for sure they're gonna need more developers in the future. We also have to think about how trends will change so how are you protecting yourself from AI?

AI is a big threat in recent times. Someone is being deceived by AI (fake videos, fake pictures or other fake documents) or someone's career is under threat due to AI. While AI has its advantages, the list of disadvantages for some unscrupulous people is increasing day by day.

However, I would rather fight against AI than protect myself from AI. In some cases, I may have to protect myself from AI. In the field of profession, there are some skills that can never be replaced by AI. Observe carefully while viewing any information or any video or any picture, the document created by AI will not be as perfect as the original document. There will be some inaccuracies or mistakes.

I don't think that we'll need to fight this innovation.
What we can do in order for ourselves to get protected from it is by always being prepared for its taking over with our professions.
And one way of doing it is by somehow upskilling and learning other skills than the current one that we have.
We can't take them over with a fight and we'll just drain ourselves thinking of doing that. We have to adapt and learn their ways too.

Honestly, the development of AI is unavoidable. Like it or not, we must adapt to it all. Some efforts I can make and prepare for the even more powerful AI development in the future are:
1. Learn more about specific AI that can assist us.
2. Optimize the capabilities of AI, but don't become so dependent on it that it controls everything.
3. Remain vigilant, by continually honing your potential, skills, and abilities, and start thinking ahead to what and how AI will take over what we do.

There's nothing we can do about the existence of AI other than to treat it just like we do with the market whales, which is use its potential for our benefit and never go against it cause the innovation is here to stay.

I agree to that, learning how AI works also lead you to learn on how to protect yourself with this updates, the good catch is having deeper knowledge and understanding can do help to maximize the use of this system. personally i don think ai can beat human race. we can learn to use it and co assits with it but the smart move is stacking skills ai is not able to copy easy like our creativity, people skills, and problem solving. You don’t gotta be a codin genius to be able to just stay adaptable and tech aware. the real win is being the person who can learn to co assist not develop a fear it will take over.

Imo the best way to protect yourself from AI or competition among other employees are to always improve yourself and learn new skills. Believe, there is nothing you can do to stop progress. There are no jobs that you can start doing when you graduate from school or university, and you would be doing it until retirement. AI are taking jobs, learn to operate with AI parallel. Learn to AI if it can be said like that. Become a person who will maintain AI.

AI isn't taking job, AI help people to deliver job effectively that's what AI was designed for, as a worker you have to learn AI immediately if you want to keep your job. Your employer might change you to someone that can use AI to deliver results.

I don't think going back to a sort of higher institution to learn AI is the best approach in anyway, instead, as AI is advancing, we should learn to integrate it into our workplace and tools. We can use AI tools that perform similar functions and even better than the previous ones we use mostly when it concerns desktop and online or offline devices applications and platforms.

The knowledge of AI is open and a thing we see everyday online being advertised and marketed and when we start from there to familiarize ourselves with how they function, even if they don't immediately replace the existing tools we use, we may already have begun integration of AI by learning its use case first before further use.

In my opinion in this era, the human need for AI technology is unavoidable. Several large companies have switched to choosing AI to help their businesses rather than humans. University graduates are truly overwhelmed now to compete with AI capabilities. Human knowledge is far behind when it comes to competing with it. In my opinion, now in this context, what we can do is use AI technology to make every job easier. We can use it to ask for any universal and general knowledge, but for decision making. we must still use human thought and power. Never use it for decision making because AI data can be manipulated for certain interests.

Only an institutional degree can never teach a person good skills. And until a person can acquire good skills, he will be at a disadvantage in his career. Ai has replaced many jobs and in the future, Ai model upgrades will replace many more, but in the meantime, to maintain yourself in a good position, you have to upgrade yourself and acquire new skills. Institutional education or degrees cannot teach anyone good skills. Learning skills requires hard work and exposure to real tasks.

You cannot really protect yourself from it, if your industry is able to embrace it and it takes a large chunk out of your job - then eventually that reality will set in. Your best bet would be to try and use it as much as possible, become a master of it and learn how to use it to your advantage to speed up various parts of your job. If you can demonstrate keen abilities to extract value out of AI instead of sitting around scared and watching it take over your roles, then you'll be a highly valuable long term asset to any business. Remember, your company may get displaced unless you adapt and use these abilities, because lots of other companies out there are jumping on every opportunity to use them.

You can't learn computer with the aim of protecting yourself from AI because the computer you are learning is still were the AI originated from and a lot of the things there are done by AI. You don't even need to protect yourself because AI is not giving you any trouble, resisting it is even the trouble you will give yourself because those who are using them see more transforming progress than those who doesn't use it. No invention have suppress human from working or keeping a lot of people useless on the society so even if we are going to see development but it will not make us to be helpless.

I agree, in our country, many jobs have been taken already by AI and massive layoffs in the call center industry due to AI adoption by the companies. But those who have been affected can use that as motivation for them to be better and just simply find another opportunity where their skills is needed. And as we use that moment to adopting and studying about it. There are also jobs that are generated by it that relates to prompting engineering and other stuff that classifies the adoption of it that will show the need of it in the future if done so.
