AI cannot eradicate human jobs just like machines in the industrialization era didn't eradicate all the human workforce so if AI has taken over your job or you can foresee that in no distant future it will take over your job what you will do is look for a job or skills that AI cannot takeover. Most of these jobs would be physical because AI intelligence cannot manually paint a house or manually do construction works, you can consider going into agriculture because AI cannot do the manual requirements.

Problem would be when robots will be created and designed to do most manual jobs that is when people can start to actually worry because AI and robots will steal all the jobs. Maybe governments would be paying everybody to sit and do nothing. I wouldn't worry about that time because there will also be a way for people to earn if not there will be chaos in every societies.

Government will never pay people if they do nothing. They will pay only if previously taxes were paid. AI and robots dont pay taxes, but it cost a lot to integrate AI everywhere. Human labor is still cheaper than technology.

In your example, AI can not paint house or do construction works, but it can create whole house with selected color on an assembly line, but then it will only be needed for several people to assemble that house like lego bricks, instead of full team of constructors. To protect from AI - a person must need work that still require a person to do it.

You should create a secret word with all family members to verify your identity in case of unexpected or emergency calls. Also, if you receive a suspicious call or message asking for money or any sensitive information hang up. Do not accept any kind of message because I myself constantly receive scamming mail from this AI. Moreover, AI can imitate voices from just a few seconds of audio, so do not give any kind of reply there. Do not provide any kind of information samples as scammers may create various types of scare content to avoid judgment. As much as possible avoid presenting your personal information on social media and be wary of strangers.

It you do not create any secret word with your family members you and your family can still be smart to discover when someone who is not a member of your family is calling you or requesting for money, firstly Ai doesn't know everything about your family and it has no information about how many you are and the way you and your family members communicate. If someone should use a different voice already you need to do is to hang up and call that person just to know if the message you received is from the person, verify every message you get before reacting to it if not you will keep funding scammers who are already making use of AI to scam people.

Yes, it depends on how we use it. If we can harness existing technology, it will certainly have a positive impact. However, if we misuse it, we already know the consequences.

One thing I want to convey is that we shouldn't rely too much on AI, because if we always and too much rely on AI, we won't develop. Our brains need to be constantly sharpened with everything, so if we always rely on AI for everything we do and think, it will stifle our brains. And this is what can be very dangerous.

Surely, if we are only applying them in those areas they are built for I believe they won't be harmful to use because they are created for a purpose which we are supposed to allow them serve thier purpose and not misusing them on trying to force them into things they have no idea about, this way they can be harmful reason been that they are not properly used.

It is just like those gamblers who rely on AI Prediction, and whenever I see people doing that I felt that they are misusing it because that's not the main reason why they are created.
I believe everything should be put in its proper place. This means we must be smart in choosing what to use the tool (in this case, AI) for and what to avoid. And of course, we should be able to differentiate between them to maximize its potential.

AI was created to make things easier for us, but that doesn't mean we should become complacent with its convenience. We must remain creative and productive, and avoid becoming dependent, which can stifle our development. We must force ourselves to step out of our comfort zone.

AI is coming and is going to soon replace redundant jobs. If you are one of those at risk, what do you do to protect yourself from AI? Whether we like it or not, AI is coming and there's no stopping that. Some are going back to college to get another degree. Some are aiming to learn about computer science because for sure they're gonna need more developers in the future. We also have to think about how trends will change so how are you protecting yourself from AI?

Firstly, it seems to me that if a person leaves their data everywhere, such as scans of documents or biometrics, then this is the worst thing that a person can do on the Internet.
After all, hackers or experts in forgery of documents and persons can easily make an artificial "clone " of his data using artificial intelligence, which will easily pass kyc and through this it will be possible to gain access to bank accounts or exchanges of this person who is not careful.
Therefore, we all need to carefully read any agreements on the Internet that we check, and also be always vigilant with those who ask us for our personal information.

You made interesting point, I didn’t ever thought about how can AI be used in scams like this, but it really makes sense that scammers will use AI voice copy technology to impersonate other people.

Unfortunately the elderly people who are not familiar with this technology will sure be the most numerous victims.

As you said, in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones we must reduce our digital footprint to give less information for scsmmers to work with.

Also the secret word is also good idea, but I don't think that my family would take this threat seriously.

Yes. That's true. There's no need to fear the development of AI technology because fundamentally AI is only an assistant to humans not a replacement for them. With AI jobs become easier such as performing fast calculations, analyzing big data, editing and much more. AI can assist in our work.

The development of AI won't stifle our creativity in fact, with AI we can unleash it even more. As long as we don't become complacent with the conveniences of AI, because if you're lazy and unwilling to adapt you'll be left behind. Because the future isn't one of AI replacing humans but of humans plus AI replacing humans who don't want to use AI.

After all the history of technology has always been like that. People used to be afraid of the internet many said that with the internet young people would become stupid. But now the world is more productive, life is easier and new jobs have emerged that were previously unimaginable. So, in essence to protect ourselves from AI we must adapt and not be complacent.

Best answer, do what AI would find it tough to replace, in as much as we are in an era where AI has become quite popular, but human creativity is carved from subconscious processes, experiences in life, emotion, and the ability to confront I believe that everything should be in its appropriate position. This means that we must be strategic in deciding what to use the tool (in this example, AI) for and what to avoid. And, of course, we should be able to distinguish between them in order to maximize their potential.

So, having such a high level of dependency can weaken our survival instincts, which I believe is unhealthy. So, as you said, we must still have boundaries so we don't become complacent with all the conveniences offered.

I understand that as humans, we tend to choose the easy path, but we also need to be able to think critically about whether that convenience can have negative consequences, so we should reduce its use.

I personally only use AI occasionally, and sometimes even to check whether my data is accurate. So, I only use AI as one factor, not completely trust it.

The matter what, human labour will be needed in the society and it can't be erase from the labour market. AI will over do the way Industrial revolution did to humanity yet, human labour is still important in the civil service in the government. Yes we all know that AI is advancing but it can't replace human labour. Once human being stop work, many things will go wrong. And the only thing to prepare ourselves is the acquisition of more knowledge to against any outbreak that coming from AI.
