Haha, yes, most gamblers say they gamble for entertainment, but often when they lose, they get emotional, and of course, those emotions can show that what they said at the beginning was a lie. They are not gambling for entertainment but to make money. From this, we can also conclude that to determine whether they are gambling for entertainment or not, we must first see how they react when they lose.

As for myself, to be honest, sometimes I gamble for entertainment, but sometimes I also try to multiply my money. However, the difference is that I always gamble with an amount I can afford to lose, and in my opinion, that is the most important thing.

But if that is the case why do we usually complain most times when we lose or why the persistent chasing of lost or try to get back our lost each time we lose in our gaming streak , perhaps is it that some of us aren't sincere to our self when we usually say we only gamble for the fun? Or is it more in mind that we aren't saying out?

Haven't you ever complained if you lose when you play in sports, or chess, or when your favorite tv character dies in series? You would still consider it as entertainment (or fun).

Feelings, both good and bad are part of the experience, and while you root for good feelings, they won't really have any meaning without occasional negative feelings. They are all of the same package of being a human.

Now add monetary incentive to what you were imagining. Why wouldn't that enhance the intensity of that experience?

This question require a proper answer nothing turning it upside down because we all know what we want in the game and it's essential to always talk the truth. Anyways let's go straight to the point of the game because gamblers has nothing else to enjoy in the game than being profitable in the long run, without any doubt this are common with the mindset of the gamblers but I don't know why most gamblers are still deceiving themselves without remembering that winnings brings in the fun we talked about all the time.

What I mean is that we do not need the idea of "maybe I will get rich" to enjoy gambling, I know I will not get rich, I also know that on the long term I will lose my money, so there is no way I will be even in profit, that's what I agree to when gambling. And yet I still have fun, which proves my point that I do not need to make a profit or get rich to enjoy, I can easily enjoy without making money, those few wins in the middle are fine and entertaining enough.

Gambling has charm that people will always go back no matter what. This is already part of humanity since time immemorial, we can't eradicate this activity that easy and fast. Because once you put yourself into this addictive activity, would be hard for you to remove it from your lifestyle. Unless, you wanted to alter your life and change for the betterment of yourself. And so you will disciplined yourself not to get involved again in this activity.
Sometimes, it is not about the winnings why people are coming into this realm, but it is how they feel when they play and so the experience of it. They can't forget such feeling and so they come back again and again up until they are already deep in this game.

I think this is a question that everyone knows the answers already. If I should direct the question back to you, tell me why casino company launch new companies every day? Is it not because of making money. They are not there to give you the money the raised rather money to make you believe you can take it while in the process you are losing more and more. Ironically it will sound clownish that people that makes momey from gambling doesn't do it for the money but that's just the bitter truth about gambling. People that win don't calculate money, they calculate ways to get their predictions right and if they can just do this, know that the money will follow them. I'd just like to add that a lot of my friends play video games because they want to pass the time and have fun, especially when they play together. But when they lose, they also get angry and complain, and can even blame each other.

Almost every people gamble for quick profit but some people gamble for fun. You say gamble with demo if need fun you know I don't count things as fun that doesn't have any risk. I agree with you, everyone has a reason why they gamble both the rich and the poor gamble, the rich gamble to double their money and at times they gamble on the team they're supporting. While he poor gamble to escape poverty and be rich which the chance to make it through gambling is very slim yet they keep gambling till they lose everything.

It is a personal choice, and maybe those sets of individuals chose not to say much about their gambling life, so you would not blame them for such a decision. Maybe they must or might have had terrible experiences in the past, which might have made them take such a decision of keeping their gambling things to themselves and not mind anybody. All gamblers gamble for different reasons, mine reasons may be different from yours and yours different from mine but at all there is one important factor responsible for people getting involved into gambling which is to make profit. But just a simple advice for you not to be too conserned about making money through gambling, yes I know you want to make money but it is not advisable that it should be your primary reason for gambling, reason because it comes with alot of emotional burden and this emotions can make you make mistakes that might cause harm to yourself.

If they started gambling with the impression of entertainment they wouldn't have been expecting too much from gambling, their expectations from gamble has also made them to become addicted to gambling. A person may initially gamble for entertainment, but when he starts making money by gambling, he forgets the main purpose of gambling, gambles out of passion or greed, and loses all his money. Then he realizes that gambling was actually for entertainment, but after winning, he forgets everything and continues to gamble in the hope of gradually making money.
