Just like the title say, why do we gamble? This is a crucial question that if it's been asked everyone will likely say they gamble to have fun and to be well entertained maybe at their free or bored time.

But if that is the case why do we usually complain most times when we lose or why the persistent chasing of lost or try to get back our lost each time we lose in our gaming streak , perhaps is it that some of us aren't sincere to our self when we usually say we only gamble for the fun? Or is it more in mind that we aren't saying out?

There are people who gamble for fun just to distract themselves from negative feelings, but honestly the majority of people gamble because of financial gain some are not just saying the truth. Because when you see a gambler complaining, maybe trying to chase back their losses or staking high prices, you should know those categories of people aren't doing gambling for fun. You don't have to lose millions in the name of having fun at least, with the little prices I'm very sure you can be entertained. Those who are doing it just for entertainment aren't getting too serious about winning or losing.

Normally I am fighting against this gambling addiction and despite a huge desire to gamble for real I am refraining myself from doing so. In fact, even though we take gambling as entertainment, we do not like losing because losing does not give us entertainment. I think many of us in this forum will feel on the experiences you had, and I am also one of them. The initial goal was to win as many times as possible, but the problem is that when a gambler keeps on winning, he also keeps on playing, and that is greed, which cannot be easily prevented.

We always have to make decisions according to the type of game, not all games depend on luck, and not all games depend only on skill, some games are based on luck and some are based on skill, but when there is a balance between them, the game is more in our favor. actually you have not answered why you participate in gambling and it is a bone of the contention of this thread, I noticed that some people does not know the reason why that participate in gambling, and some of them join gambling because they want to boost their financial strength that is why they are into gambling, are there some people join gambling because others mislead them to join gambling and other people claim that there are into gambling because of entertainment, but we need to know that the gambling is not source of making money and those people who claim that they are into gambling because of entertainment I think out of 100% it is only 20% that will be sure of participating in gambling because of entertainment and the remaining ones is into gambbling because of money
