It really makes me wonder who hired them to promote Rainbet... or did they all just decide to do it voluntarily? 🤔
Since they are not on the spreadsheet and were never hired by the manager, what I can think of is either they were hired by a shiller to come run this type of promotion, which I doubt that could be it (since there is no special signature used to track their activities) but the practice looks exactly more like it, or all the accounts are controlled by a group who thought that wearing signature will make them appear less suspicious since they all just recently woke up then, but if the later is the case why will they all choose one company signature to wear is another question running around my head. So for the avatar you see above could mean maybe they were once on the signature campaign before or anticipated to be, but are no longer there.
No, they were never in the campaign, and as far as I can remember, when most of those users were active in almost every part of the forum, and they were making spam headlines, they were never part of the campaign. If you go back to a few months back on the spreadsheet and not recent, you won’t find any single one of them on the sheet.

Who's doing this, and for what reason?
It's Rainbet doing this. Specifically, their marketing team. This kind of shit lines up, considering the way the opt to advertise their casino in the medium/space of short-form content (reels, tiktoks, shorts, etc). Their formula is: - POV style footage of some "everyday man/joe"
- being a public nuisance in a store/place of commerce
- when they're done fucking with the patrons/employees, they checkout
- before checkout, they say "lemme open up Rainbet real quick"
- *insert public display of gambling*
- pay for their shit with their profits/walk away after a loss
It's engineered to appear that anyone can just whip out their smart-device and pay for their eggs off a quick tap of plinko. It's pure cancer, and I hate knowing this stupid shit has already worked/conviced some idiot into thinking they can rely on gambling as income. The latest gimmick seems to be standing outside Walmart with a television and "making patrons watch brainrot". Oh, and they also exploit the homeless. Fun. Here are some examples: My train of thought is, if they are willing to buy out content creators with meaningless amounts of followers, and get them to do this idiodic behavior in public, are they really above running account farms on this forum sold to Rainbet, with the sole purpose of getting an avatar unlocked so they can put the logo on it? Let's up the stakes a bit
I see what you did there.

^^^ he beat me to it but I spent too much time writing this, and my take is slightly different This is weird. Who's doing this, and for what reason?
As stated by other member, those account actually don't join any signature campaign. So sigban unlikely to make them stop spamming again in the future.
So for the avatar you see above could mean maybe they were once on the signature campaign before or anticipated to be, but are no longer there.
My theory is its a form of link saturation for "passive SEO" purposes. It was probably marketed and sold to Rainbet. I find it highly unlikely anybody would bother buying all these accounts just to do this for free. Most of the accounts were red tagged before. When they came back they all cranked out similarly awful posts as they were all purchased by the same person. The timestamps of the password changes is pretty undeniable. So even if my theory is wrong, it wouldn't hurt if they didn't have signatures for a couple of years. Is my thinking. Issuing them an actual ban means the signatures stay up forever, if I'm not mistaken.

Let's up the stakes a bit: shouldn't "Rainbet" be banned from advertising in signatures, just like what once happened to Yobit: 129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.
Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions. Issuing them an actual ban means the signatures stay up forever, if I'm not mistaken. "Autobans" wipe the signature, but not the avatar.

When they came back they all cranked out similarly awful posts as they were all purchased by the same person. The timestamps of the password changes is pretty undeniable Judging by the timestamp of the change of password of those accounts, it's actually undeniable that those accounts might have been bought and all belong to an individual or a group of people whose aim might have been to exploit signature campaigns. But unfortunately, they got caught early and were issued red tag, of which they all ran away from the forum since February 2026. Which clearly justify the allegation more, since nobody was able to challenge or complain about the red tag since it was issued 5months ago in February. So to me, issuing them a temporary signature ban makes no difference because moreover, these accounts have been offline for quite a long period of time now. And secondly, I will also like to say that sometimes, Rainbet might be innocent and has absolutely nothing to do with these accounts, because for the fact that none of these accounts were found to be associated with Rainbet, all these still remains an allegation until proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Thank you

Any reason why these accounts shouldn't get 2-year signature bans? Welcome to community input first. Just what I was reading about and considering the effects it might have overall on the forum in regards to legit accounts (not bought or bot controlled accounts with AI posts) and organic posts on the forum. This does constitute a negative advertising in a way as clearly, the activities of these accounts isn’t of a positive note, at least as shown in this thread and they might transfer that to the campaigns they now advertise. While this might be activities of some syndicates trying to trample on what Rainbet might have built in their short time at the forum or it’s some deliberate attempt by someone in their team is unknown but, I’ll be choosing the later for a good reason and I don’t see why this should be allowed. They are likely controlled by a single individual, likely bought accounts, wouldn’t be organic and project a negative idea to the campaigns whose brand they represent without consent perhaps. I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t be held in contempt as this is up to no good.

Rainbet were neither first or the only casino out there doing this type of content, though. Calling them out on this specifically and mixing it up with "if they're doing A they're surely doing B" is a bit disingenuous, imo..

Drop the hammer. There is zero reason to give them a pass, and frankly, 2-year signature ban is generous. They are likely to just wait it out and start right back from where they left off. They should be permanently nuked from the forum.

Y'know what? This is true, and I should've written in my post that Rainbet isn't the sole purveyor of this type of marketing. I was also sort of speaking from personal experience, as there was once a time where - algorithmically speaking - I was getting loads of these disguised gamba-advert shorts/reels/tiktoks. I can say for sure, from memory, that I've seen this same stuff from other casinos too (Stake) - but Rainbet was the most frequent. I never said they were surely doing the whole forum avatar thing (although, again, I can definitely see how it came across that way). I saw one blatantly scummy tactic, and used logic/reasoning to pose the probability of what they are/aren't ethically above doing. Edit: Here's Shuffle doing the same thing, can you guys spot the sneaky Shuffle plug? Blink, and you'll miss it.

Update: I checked the spreadsheet, and not a single one of those users is in Hhampuz's spreadsheet! This is weird. Who's doing this, and for what reason? If I remember correctly, this was discussed before here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5489102.0;allFrom what I remember, it was suspected that all of those accounts were owned by the same person and sold. Someone reportedly posted in the Digital Goods section (or the Indonesian local board) offering to buy bitcointalk accounts, even those/regardless with negative trust ratings. Shortly after that, many of those accounts started wearing the Rainbet signature, which led to speculation that they were part of that account buying operation to advertise rainbet.

Coming from the other Topic containing the list of banned members ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5589099.msg66982437#msg66982437), I found out this dubious Rainbet marketing strategy is actually still going months later. My initial finding was in December of 2025 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5568749.msg66186599#msg66186599) when I saw the member Ojengonggu ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1042116, now banned) spam bumping Topics. He was wearing the Rainbet avatar and signature too. I thought he was a participant and sent Hhampuz a Personal Message only to find out later that he was actually not even a participant at all. For this reason, my input for nutildah is that all these members should definitely get the ban hammer. Not just the signature ban. The actual ban! There is no such thing as a large group of members advertising one particular platform for free while others are advertising the same platform for money. This is definitely Rainbet and these members should get the ban. I do not know if Rainbet deserves a ban too, although I am kind of tempted to say they do considering the amount of pages they filled up with spam only so their platform name can be seen. They were pretty much account farming to create fake conversation to promote their brand. (Read my reply below) More over, I checked the first 5 users from the list given by nutildah (Xxmodded, asrinur, gibrab16, devlin85, Antona) and,----- Edit. I removed the rest of my reply because the accounts were already signature banned so it was not necessary to prove any thing else.

Let's up the stakes a bit: shouldn't "Rainbet" be banned from advertising in signatures, just like what once happened to Yobit:
What if it is a competitor trying to ruin their reputation by doing this? This will only make their attempt successful. Besides, there isn't enough evidence for something like that, I believe. "Autobans" wipe the signature, but not the avatar.
New idea: just like signature bans, avatar bans should be included as well, so that those users who are suspected of being used as an account to promote a specific platform/service through the avatar because it can't be removed, those in power should be able to give those accounts avatar bans as well, and autobans should wipe the avatar as well.

Waste of time and to prohibit abused of power? If they are not active on posting then why care about them. You recently just get your authority to ban. If you will pursue on banning inactive members before you given license to ban then you should start on oldest user post that is not active anymore because there’s lot of spammer back then compared now. There’s about 3.7M user on Bitcointalk that you can start screen for banning if your goal is to include inactive users too or you can always ban them when they became active again on spamming?

After looking up many accounts and Topics, I believe putting Rainbet in the middle of this may not be the fair thing to do. The accounts nutildah asked about banning are not all this farm has. There is more. A LOT MORE. OP is right, there is a really sketchy account farming going on! AakZaki linked 20 accounts to bounceback and asus09 in a Topic (1). FinneysTrueVision found two more accounts linked to aylabadia05 and 8rch7 (2). _BlackStar found flyer88 to also be part of the farm (3). lovesmayfamilis found a connection between bounceback and imamtaha48 (4). YOSHIE found a connection between tazmantasik and pikkie (5). And then one between imamtaha48 and dahwal2 (6). Al Pacino Jr found a connection between Celot and Adykngcity (7). cheater detector adds abi1988, aryana42, lukmandog, infarterr and agenlaptop to the list ( 8 ). Ayers adds Fakhrulenclix (9). AakZaki connects Antona to judyrob, indobitcoin.tk, kicauklaten, Annieluvyou, kendedes, dianikusuma and brjameng (10). jokers10 connects more accounts (11). lovesmayfamilis connects two more (12). nutildah connects a few more (13). AakZaki connects BitTraderCute to a lot more accounts (14). If anyone wants to verify the list below, start from the accounts nutildah listed here ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5573695.msg66962915#msg66962915) and then go through each of my reference link in order. Many of the names below are banned and most have been offline for a long time but I did not separate them yet from the still active accounts. Bitcoin Talk Community Awards to get Merits, as seen in this deleted post by Ratimov, https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5942/59424852.htmlMy theory on the Rainbet part is that they are using their signature and avatar to get their replies more highlighted on Topics and to farm Merits easier. A 'Rainbet participant' receiving 1, 2, 5 or 10 Merits all of a sudden looks less suspicious compared to a no signature account. ----- Looking through BPIP I tried to link more accounts but it got extremely over whelming. If anyone has the time and patience I suggest that they start from Xxmodded and look through the sent and received Merits. I am pretty sure I was close to finding a link between a lot more users but I ultimately gave up. Here are some of the dubious links I kept for anyone interested in digging more, cutesgirl ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=989206) sent Merits to Arcas, celot and cotton ball, cotton ball is the only one not on the list above, - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228934.msg54138494#msg54138494- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5236281.msg54122610#msg54122610- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5236086.msg54128989#msg54128989But cotton ball ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=923717) sent Merits to Xxmodded too, - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5176196.msg55244570#msg55244570Jasad sent 105 Merits to fine99, 15 Merits to Xxmodded. Both are on the list above. The more I looked for, the more links I found. This farm is absolutely crazy.

Wow, that is one hell of a useless account collection. It could be operated by a handful of people, I don't see how this could be the work of just one person. Anyway, good job tying it all together.
It appears most of them don't have signatures. All the ones that have avatars have been banned or red trusted.

After looking up many accounts and Topics, I believe putting Rainbet in the middle of this may not be the fair thing to do.
I still have this diagram from when I was looking into the aylabadia05 account. The farm just keeps branching out in many directions. A lot of these accounts that you have mentioned belonged to different farms and when they were red tagged they were sold to somebody who consolidated them into a single farm that was spamming AI generated posts and using Rainbet avatar and signature. That is my understanding of what happened according to this thread.
