Consistency and strategies which one owns the key of gambling?

Why is it that some gamblers keep on making things difficult by themselves? Because I have often see threads of this unnecessary argument knowing fully well that luck plays a significant role in determining the final outcome of the game. Talking about Consistency or strategy is gambling a business or investment?

Gambling is just a way to have fun and entertainment with only what you can afford to lose because there is no guarantee of winnings in gambling, so I would advise you keep consistency a way from gambling and enjoy the fun with little amount that wouldn't affect you.

The problem with consistency in gambling is that you don't really know when to stop until you've lost so much that you can bear. I will rather consider strategy to be the key to gambling. Strategy does not only involve skills on how to win games, but risk management strategies too that will keep one safe from gambling abuse and excessive losses.

Both consistency and strategy are important for a bettor to have clearer understanding of teams, if you have a level of consistency and can be able to analyze well you will have better chances of winning than bettors who don't. But if I must choose between consistency and strategy I will have to go for strategy because all you need to do when you want to place your bet is strategize. Consistency can lead to addiction, you will keep following games everytime without taking breaks, you will always follow up on matches and updates which can be tiring for casual bettors.

Exactly same thing I tried to point out in my previous comment on this thread and topic, gamblers directly or indirectly treat gambling like its a business or work place where the more frequent you show up, the higher your productivity and profit, but facts have shown us that the more consistent we gamble, the higher the chances that our accumulated loses will become far greater than our overall winnings, this is assuming we are in overall profit at the moment which I believe it's only a very small number of gamblers that can boost of this around the world.

I often say it that if there was actually a known strategy that guarantees consistent winning from gambling, then gambling, casinos won't even exists today because they all would have gone bankrupt.

Consistency is not the solution to gambling, if you use it you are just going to keep losing money, I will choose strategy every time, and the strategy needed isn't even much, gambling isn't something you must do like a business or a job, the only strategy you can use is securing your hardearned money away from gambling and still feel good about it.

Consistency to what? Being consistent to something doesn’t mean a success in gambling because you can be consistent on betting but it doesn’t improve your winning rate.

"  But you must draw a conclusion in this kind of argument, you have to start detailing down every necessary factor that is involved in gambling, such as luck, discipline, decisions, emotional intelligence, etc. As a gambler, if you think consistency without luck is a key to success, you will only lose more than you can imagine, if you also think that strategy without luck is the key, you will lose badly. Actually, I think you have a problem with definitions within the scope of what gambling is, you know.
Consistency is not a way to reach money, but rather consistency itself is the ultimate goal of anyone who gambles for money and it is not obtainable by normal means, because it would threat the economy of the casino or bookie itself.

Well strategy and consistency are definitely useful but to have it doesn't mean that things will go your way. Gambling is a place where there is always going to be some uncertainty, so it's not good to get too confident but I believe in one thing if you follow the rules and don't make the decisions on emotion at least you'll make less big mistakes. Based on my knowledge, consistency and strategies are just one of the features of being a successful gambler.
What owns the key to gambling is that you understand the game concept, risk management, and put your psychology in check. All these, with consistency and strategies, will give you the needed key to gambling. Consistency is coined out from the strategy, you can’t be consistent in gambling without having a strategy you’re using and depend solely on to give you good results. When you have a strategy, sticking to that strategy is very important if it gives you the result you want. If it doesn’t, the strategy becomes futile and consistency won’t even be a thing to consider using that strategy. you are right consistency and strategic doesn't guarantee winning in gambling. A gambler maybe be consistent and strategic in gambling and end up not making a single win. However with consistency a gambler hope of winning one becomes strong.
What a gambler needs more importantly isn't just this two things because without an element of luck I don't think if they will ever win .

There is no key to success in gambling,  neither is consistency a virtue that could help with gambling. If it should be considered,  it would be the death of many of us,  because gambling is not something you get right after consecutive trials and error, it's just based on luck.  For a second thought, it would be worse in cases where the finances are not constant and more losses could be incurred over winnings.

Yes you are right, one of the important roles in determining the outcome of gambling is luck, there is nothing wrong but also we should not only rely on luck alone, especially in betting, because if so we will only bet randomly, it is much more risky. Gambling is never the same as trading and investing, so I don't think being consistent and strategic create advantage. At the end of the day, no one can guarantee winning from gambling, so its useless to be consistent and strategic when you don't even know how to win your bets.

Consistency in gambling hmmm, don’t forget gambling is not a game of certainties which means you can also be in consistency in losses too. Instead of putting much time in gambling you can allocate more of your time on something else . Like learning a good skill, and other stuff reducing how frequent you visit the casino .
