Having the right strategy is the key left for me alone because, you can't be consistent gambling without having a strategy that works for you very well. I agree that consistency is good to avoid mistakes since you're already aware of what to do in order to maximize the chances to win. But having a strategy is also an edge although it's not an assurance. Well, in sports, knowledge and analysis are crucial but luck is still a major factor to win. Gambling isn't adding much value to our lifes except for the entertainment purpose and we can learn few things from it, for example it teaches that if we become greedy we might loss everything.
