It was interesting to read the responses. I didn't notice any special movements during the game.I even asked my friends, and they confirmed it. The only thing I think like many others, is that when I lose, I sigh heavily and roll my eyes thats probably the greatest emotion I can experience. When I win, it's the same as everyone else, I guess.

Hahaha, I want to laugh when I remember a situation where I sighed after losing. This has certainly happened to me, and if I remember correctly, it was because I placed a bet with full hope of winning, but because the result ended in a loss, I sighed.

Gambling can put a person under serious pressure at times, I can put one under serious stress and tension and for people with underlying health issues like high blood pressure, gambling under some intense emotional conditions can be deadly, so I understand what that sigh of  relieve actually does for you as a gambler..

Just like you, I make that gesture when I want to win or when I hit the jackpot. I think it's a spontaneous response to our excitement when gambling, so we don't even realize we're making that gesture. I think there are so many gamblers who also make that gesture when they're in that state.

Don't signal is a sign of awareness about what you're doing (I don't signal) I play naturally and so I'm casual on my face too.
I'm confident in what I do and aware, even when I lose I show no signs of anger (even if I happen to have it).
In my opinion, superstitious gestures are just a personal belief. If they brought good luck, I'd go around making gestures all the time. Either I'm the one who doesn't believe it, or they just don't work on me.

Yes I have seen a situation like that before where a player got frustrated and just punch the computer monitor and I think this attitude is very common among gamblers especially those addicted gamblers because it is obvious that they are doing all of that just because they are not favoured. Personally I don't make signs while gambling the only sign I think of right now is just laugh because while watching football matches the players might just do something very funny and you know how dramatic this players can be most times, so aside from laugh I don't think of making any sign while gambling or watching football matches.

No matter whether you win or lose gambling directly hit our emotion. Our brain react to this sudden reward or a big winning in such a way that the dopamine hormone is fully boosted. On the one hand it give extreme excitement but on the other hand losing can make you feel very irritable.
