Why are you phrasing the question like it's some kind of a norm to make hand signs or gestures when losing in order to turn your luck around and win instead? I've never seen or heard about anything like that, if it's something you do then don't make it look like some general stuff everybody does, I don't do it and I certainly do not know anyone who does, it's a bet not some superstitious event where hand signs get me the win when I make them.

I don't even know why someone would have to show a hand guesture to show people that they are either winning or losing.
This is rare and it could happen seldomly to people that are having mental issues and need to stay away from gambling.
People only complain when they are not getting a very good result from gambling or they could either rejoice for winning or stay calm.

This is why gamblers need to be careful when gambling so that you don't give a stupid sign to your opponent that is losing making it looks like you are trying to mock or insult the person for his own misfortunes. Although it depends on how people interpret such kind of sign if it can be seen as a sign to provoke anger that can lead to unexpected violence.
I will not support any guesture in some cases that cam lead severe interpretation with excessive playback with consequences.

I am not doubting what your possible sign's shai, every gamblers with their own experiences, from my own end I don't give signs for people around me to notice what I'm doing or up to,I rather react it inside of me than physical expression for me not to get emotional while losing,I think gambling should be well-done quietly for your thinking faculty to active also a thing of mind and not by signs which is how I understand.

The one I think is normal is shaking of legs, it's actually a sign of anxiety or fear.

Yeah, you are right. I always do the crossing of fingers sign whenever I am really low on budget, and that will be like my last 10 rolls or maybe lower. Although I don't do it when there are people around, especially when the kids are also in the living room while I am playing on my phone. That way, they won't have an idea of what I am doing, and I don't want them to know that I am gambling on that instance.

But whenever I am alone, I release all the emotions as much as I can. Punching the pillow when a losing streak is happening or raising my hands when I get a big multiplier. Yeah, I think it's just normal. It's a celebration thing, and I think it's healthy to do it. It means you are still enjoying the games.

I thought it was just me who does random thing when I’m losing at gambling or playing games. Usually, I play with my teeth when I keep losing and while doing that, I keep praying in my mind to win the next bet. I think this habit of playing with my teeth started in my childhood when I keep having lose streak on playing games and now it happens when I lose in gambling too.

None. I suppose it's because the first game I played continuously for many years was poker, and although I mostly played online, I also played some live games, and there it's best to refrain from making any signs so as not to give away any tells to your opponents. Therefore, even when I play other games, I don't make any signs.

Asides from the fact that you play poker maybe it's because you aren't just used to doing that, i would say that this is like an habit for most people, they have gotten so used to it and it feels like something they do involuntarily. Each and everyone us here have different target in gambling so definitely a gambler must surly do signs while gambling, especially when you are not getting it correctly. But to me alone I don't making a sign would bring back your losses because already losing is part of the game, so it's left for us to always understand that gambling is not a get rich overnight so we should always try as much as possible to gamble with the amount that wouldn't affect you negatively after the outcome doesn't work out for you because those signs are not helping us at all. Well, what you have explained is not unique as much as people tend to believe. This could also have to do with superstitious beliefs, because some people believe that if they do or don't do certain things, they will either win or lose in gambling. So maybe those who use hand gestures while gambling are superstitious and they believe that if they talk while they are gambling they might start losing or if they are already losing, they might jinx it and don't win at all if they speak when they are making bets. I don't know, superstitious beliefs are also hilarious and laughable but some people believe in them.

I remember a guy who used to believe that they could only win on certain days in the week, like they would only gamble on Fridays, or Sundays, something like that, and if they would gamble on any other day, they would always lose and never win, even though they lose on the days he gambles but he believes that other days are not good for him to gamble. What kind of a superstition is that? How in the world can a day affect the results of your gambling activities? I don't do any gestures while gambling. This seems like a combination of obsessive-compulsive disorder and superstition. I remember having obsessive-compulsive disorder as a kid and I was walking on the street stepping on certain places and closing doors in a certain way.
I totally get the feeling and the assumption that doing certain things can miraculously improve your luck. However, there's no logic and no proof behind this and our brains are just fooling us. This is more like the ridiculous goofy side of being a gambler. Many people have a hidden goofy side in them. If acting weird was really increasing our chances of winning, I would be acting weird every day and night.

Not only on gambling results, in my opinion, but on all things we do we will usually issue actions, this includes the feelings that exist in us such as reactions of shock, sadness, annoyance, pleasure and others.
