At present, and perhaps in many places, people react differently to these two types of addiction. It is understandable why those closest to someone can sometimes be more accepting when a family member is addicted to drugs rather than gambling. in my opinion, the main reason is money. Gambling can wipe out all savings in an instant and create serious negative consequences for other family members.

It can be among the most stressful effects on my self-esteem in such percentage because of the sudden loss of assets. Having knowledge on the poor choices makes it a barrier of shame that does not allow us to seek help of people who are practically nearby. Drugs harm physically but gambling harms economically. You can compensate for the economic loss if you have good skills. But physical damage will not be easily fixed because the medicine you take is also harmful to the body. So although all types of addiction are harmful, drug addiction is comparatively more harmful to a person than gambling.

Both gambling addiction and drugs addiction has a serious consequences but to my opinion, If I have to choose between gambling and drugs addiction I will prefer drugs than gambling. My grand mum once said to me that "once your enemy start gambling,do not bother praying against him anymore" note that God has taken over the battle for you.
I has a close friend of mine who is gambling too and despite all the treatments they were rendering to him nothing seems to be changed,he can receive his monthly salary and spend it at that particular spot and this person has family at home that he will feeds at home.

Gambling may have the highest suicide rates, but drug addiction includes mental instability and behavior changes because of drugs. Yes, gambling also has that, but it is not the drugs that are affecting their brain, which means helping them won't be that difficult, as they are still themselves. In my opinion, both can ruin your life, but if you rank them, gambling addiction is at the top of the list, followed by drugs. A recent case in my neighborhood involved a chicken seller who was addicted to gambling. It's a long story, but basically, he was addicted to gambling and had debts everywhere. The peak of the commotion occurred when he had not sold chickens for a long time, and all his friends thought he had committed suicide because he had disappeared for quite a long time. Sadly, I feel sorry for his family because many people came to his house to collect his debts. Until now, he has not reappeared, and even his family does not know his whereabouts, but they are aware of his addiction problem.

The only reason why I will say gambling addiction is deadly is because people make decisions they regret while drug addiction kills you slowly and make you useless in the society. You can bbe dealing with gambling addiction and have no physical characteristics for people to see but if you are doing drugs, you are likely going to be known in the environment that you are suffering from drug addiction, there is nothing beneficial in been addicted though.

Many gamblers that took their life make decisions that are beyond their power, check very well it's always people that think they can make money from gambling, they see gambling as a way to make momey and how to live thag expensive life they always dream. I believe this was a valid point that you made, yet I would add that the two addictions are equally destructive in their own ways. Drug addiction not only ruins the body and mind directly, sometimes even incredibly fast, but gambling addiction may ruin money, relationships and a mental state in the long term without much noise. Most gamblers get into depression, debts and even crimes and all that is detrimental to overall wellbeing. Drugs are indeed easier to use physically, but gambling addiction cannot be perceived as easier to deal with either, addiction to compulsivity is equally as strong as drug addiction.

Gambling addiction is the worst? That's the truth. Evidence? most suicidal case compared to the drugs. I mean, as long as a person is addicted to drugs and can use them regularly and without going overboard, they won't die as quickly as long as they have money. And people who are addicted to drugs only think about buying more after they run out, and they have no other pleasures.

All it takes a few seconds for someone to wager their entire life savings amount and lose that bet so I won't agree with this addiction kills slowly. And people who are wasted might likely not do anything compared to someone who just lost their entire life savings over a bet.

This is why we can't really compare them and how much people are died because of that.
