I agree with your statement that all addiction in the long run is harmful, but we seem to focus everything only on gambling and drugs while we ignore others addiction (such as drinking water, sex, weight lifting, supplements)to be harmful to the extent of causing death.

All addictions must be treating very careful, all of them can lead to bad ending. This is actually a problem that everyone realizes for years. Unfortunately, some people still don't really trust it, they think it is just a usual case. The best way is to avoid any kind of addiction, all of them are dangerous. I don't think we need to compare between gambling addiction and drug addiction, all of them are bad addictions. Once we get severe addiction on them, it won't be easy to recover it.

Recently, the case of the, is it 300 varsity student has further opened my eye to look deeper at the effects of gambling and how that can be equally harmful if one do not learn to gamble in a responsible manner.
