Money can't buy happiness, but money gives us the opportunity to be happy. It's because unless you are self-satisfied, money can't buy happiness for you. If your earnings are less than your demands, then you won't be happy ever; it doesn't matter what your earnings are. That means you have to control your aspiration; you have to be happy with what you have. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try for more, but at first you should be self-satisfied.

For example, I claim to be a happy person. Because I am happy with what I have right now. I have my own home and also have multiple earning sources; that's enough to lead a luxury life. I have control over my demands; if I dreamed of buying the whole city, then I won't be happy ever. But still trying to buy another property doesn't mean I am unhappy. This is part of our life – to look for better opportunities.

However, for some people especially those who are poor they believe that having a lot of money makes them happy. So, for them money is the "Happiness Button." They think money can be used to buy or exchange things that make them happy. Economically, money is considered a tool for achieving maximum satisfaction in life.

If rich people have money, they know the strategy on how to use that money. That is why rich people who have money can earn more money later. They have the strategy of doing business and they also know the strategy on how to expand the scope of the business, due to which if rich people have money, they can create opportunities for more profit from that money later. I don’t know why but it almost looks like the more people chase money, the farther it runs away from, especially when you don’t really have the appropriate tools and resources to chase it, or just as you earlier and rightly said, if money isn’t working for you yet. But does this mean one should stop chasing money? Definitely not, but not just directly. The universe is wired in a way that what you once chased starts chasing you when you’re no longer chasing it, or when you’re become focused on the opposite direction, some folks understands and make use of this formula it they never lack money because they stopped being subjected by money and focus on other things like passion and rest, and before you know it, boom, the streams of wealth is already chasing them even without depending on a job for a paycheque or having to do 6 jobs for higher paycheque.

I have a rich friend not sure how rich but well over 20 million usd. maybe close to 85 million.

the money does not let you grow backwards in time. ie he is 79 and tick tock the clock only gets closer to his end.

So 79 with a hurting hip and wealthy in many ways is not as good as 39 and healthy but average money.

The difference between the rich and the poor is their understanding about money, the poor sees money as something they keep hustling every day to get but then they get it they do not consider plans to make it being more by investing in something more profitable but to the rich every opportunity they get they try to invest the money they so they will be relaxed while the money make more money for them that's the difference and the reason you see the rich becoming richer while the poor poorer.

I think in every stage of life, every people has different definition of happiness. When we can eat full and sleep well from starving condition, we feel happy. When we have debt and we can pay of debt and being debt free we feel happy. We need to remember that human nature are greedy and never satisfied, so when one of our goal achieved, we make another goal which sometimes suffered ourselves, super rich people not put their happiness on ability to buy something rare expensive, sometimes they want to have legacy, power, impact on society, history recognition. At some moment money lose its effect of creating happiness. For me, money can not buy happiness but money can buy decent living, proper house, access to best health facility and the best education, and the most important thing money can buy spare time and many option in our life. Money can't buy happiness, but with it someone can create happiness for their family. It's true that our parents earned money just to create happiness for us, so our children could have a good education, good health and other happiness.

This shows that one or two people must make sacrifices to create happiness in the family. Imagine if a father didn't work and couldn't earn money, then getting a good education and health would be a problem. After seeing so many things going on including the conspiracy of the rich and the powerful my views became a little wild in understanding the context of the rich now.

If I used to think the same as what most people think where the rich are at a different level in money management because they do not only have work options to get money but they have several things such as controlling money with investments and a lot of options that they can do with their money. But for now when the aspect of power when the involvement of several rulers and conspiracies becomes apparent it changes my view a little that now it turns out that money is only one aspect that they use to make an ideal life according to their wishes. They know that the weakness of many people is money so they take advantage of this by giving money as an initial lure before they finally control many people for greater benefits and this becomes their version of absolute power. Although not all of them are like that, but when one conspiracy after another comes to the surface, it shows that nowadays money is only an object for the rich people in contrast to most poor people who only see money as a subject.

Too much of everything and it became boring. If you are working as an employee, you might dream of living on the wild doing anything you want 24/7. Do that for 1 year and you will get bored out of it.

If you are rich and bored of your life, you can try to take vacation, you can afford anything in this world and forget about making money for a while. Now if we are broke individuals, we can't find escape and get out of poverty the same way the riches could.

And if they want to they can make more but then the human mind always switches the moment it gets what it wants. I doubt this, in third world countries where there is huge gap between the rich and the poor, this is how they behave, money is weaponize by the rich to oppress the poor, they know the poor will do anything to do anything they order them. This is because they lack basic amenities, the rich use part of their resource to provide the things they want and in return they command them to their bad actions while they sit in their comfort zone watch for result.

However, in developing countries things are not the same. The government provide them with basic amenities, there is nothing a rich man will do that will make you them succumb to anything they put on their table, only the greedy ones go after wealth of the rich men. What I love about rich men in developed countries is they don't show they are rich, they rather hide in the dark and pretend not to have anything than show they have amount worthy for government to tax them, they prefer to be unnoticed.

But I can say that looking at all the rich people in the world, there are three things that are very common with all of them without a doubt. One is that they are very dedicated hard workers, no rich person became rich by just laying on the couch, they worked hard and I can't deny that.

Second would be immorality, almost every rich person had some immoral decisions, some small and some big but being okay with being unethical is the way to go. Big desires also need to be balanced with appropriateness because many people with big desires don't achieve their goals and can even lead them to less than ideal conditions in life because I'm too stressed thinking about money.
