Dealing with a casino that has no prober licensing is more of risking it all because their is actually no form of transparency and if anything eventually happens along the line you have no base in pushing any legal action against them because you can be be easily denied.


To some dude it wouldn't be making any sense to them yet till something happens that's when they will realize that it matters. However despite being carried away by pleasure and all that we should endeavor to verify all this simple stuff because when it will mean most to us is when maybe you have won a very huge amount then probably sensing a fowl play then you will understand better.

Usually it's too late to do something in that case, but it's our job to make our due diligence count. Just like in the crypto space with the custody part of it.

If you want to risk losing money playing in an unlicensed casino, you are free to do so, but it is clear that whatever you want to do in case problems arise, you will have no power to recover your money.
I compare it to illegal gambling, where there is no law that can protect you.
Playing in licensed casinos is a hassle especially with KYC, but you have to compromise to have a MINIMUM of security for your money.

While I agree that it is dangerous to play in a casino that operates without a license, I am not sure that gamblers really pay attention to licenses. If little number of gamblers bother to read ToS, then even less would check or google if casino has license and it is valid. I think many would trust to a sign "WE HAVE A LICENSE". If my friend or someone from the internet gamble and did not get scammed recently, then I can play there also - that is how many think.

Using unlicensed casinos is risky, despite knowing that gambling in a casino without a license is risky, people gamble in an unlicensed casino because the rules and regulations there are relatively easy. And by gambling in a licensed casino you have to follow all the rules, but even though the rules and regulations are strict, it is still better to gamble in a licensed casino as the risk of being cheated will be relatively low. And there is a high chance of being cheated by gambling in an unlicensed casino. So I think gambling in an unlicensed casino is risky.

I agree with you on this, I've never paid much attention to the licence : I just usually stop at that "we have a licence" disclaimer and never gìbother ot verify if they really have it or just copied their licence number somewhere else; I never digged into different authorities releasing the licence to see which one are more effective and offer better guarantees for players.
I rely more on the site reputation, mostly here on the forum than the licence thing.
It is also true I just gamble with small amounts but I guess I should change my habits regarding licences.

Without a license, there is zero accountability to anyone. If you deposit, play and win, the casino can decide to keep your winnings and there is nothing you can do about it. It's difficult as it is with a licensed casino. Without a clear terms of service, you're literally at the mercy of the casino as they can do whatever they want and face no repercussions as without a license, they're answerable to no authority.
An online casino, having no license as well as a clear terms of service is definitely a red flag and you should trust such an establishment as you would trust a disturbed rattlesnake.

I once registered on a casino and their terms and conditions were not on their registration page, it immediately sent negative signals to me about the casino, I further searched for it on their site and it could still not be found which shows they removed it on purpose or it is non-existent, so I refrained from depositing on that casino pending the time they looked authentic to me.

They never did and after a little while, I started hearing series of scam allegations against them and the intensity at which it came validated my initial suspicion and it all boiled down that the casino neither had proper licenses to operate, nor did it have clear regulations and a third red flag was that it didn't have a good funding to pay out wins.

If you just wants to have fun and not thinks about the loss, you can playing gambling in any casino you wants. But it is better if you playing gambling in casino that has a license. But whether that is a licensed or not casino, the thing you must makes sure of is that you are not playing gambling in a scam casino.

I even read in a reddit post that there is a scam casinos that are going around. They have license though, but not sure if that is legit or not as I didn't check. But I did go and see if the casinos is still online and so it is.

And I think the best way is to just play casinos that are known in this platform. Although even if they have signature campaigns doesn't mean that they are not going to scam, but at least their reputation is on the line. And so if they scam, then I don't think that they can recover from that.

Gamblers here are intelligent and will call out scam casinos if they see it.

Yeah, while casinos having a license somewhat lowers the risk of being scammed and does bring a bit of assurance that gamblers have somewhere to complain if issues against the casino arise, it still doesn't scepticsm I have with them, because of all the BS licensed casinos do. This is why community feedback is important to me, firsthand experience from other people helps whether a casino can be trusted or not.

How their financial status? who the owner? how to solve any accusation if happens? etc, for new casino's with promise to get license in the future, may they can solve that problem faster. but if the casino doesn't want to get license they will solve it slowly, and in the future after their financial worst, they can easy to close their services and run away, that why even License not guaranteed anything, at least user can have a way to do something when everything is not working well.

I will completely agree with you because when a casino does not have a license, then they have no credibility with anyone. In that case, most of the casinos will give juicy advertisements and at the same time no wagering requirement types terms and conditions which will attract people's attention and most of the people will go there to play. And this way they do phishing to scam.

But even then, in my case, the things I do is that if a casino does not have a license from a reputable licensing company, then I will pay attention to their promotional activities. For example, in the case of this forum, if I see that they have a signature campaign running and it has been going on for a long time, then in that case, I can trust that casino to some extent.

What do you mean by "no clear TOS"? Does it mean that the casino doesn't have Terms of Service or the casino does have ToS, but they seem pretty vague and unclear? What kind of text and paragraph makes the ToS unclear? Would you mind sharing with us the name of the unlicensed casino, or maybe you do believe, that the casino owner might suddenly appear on the forum and accuse you of something? The gamblers should treat unlicensed casinos with extreme caution. Just deposit the bare minimum of crypto, play for fun and don't expect to withdraw any big profits.

I barely want to push bad intentions about deals that are new with some member from my side but from the very first moment when I saw that casino, I don't trust that casino, they look shady but I can't just prove it. The way they organize the casino looks like it was an organized crime to lure people to take their deposit money and then run away, even the review was looking too obvious that process was not a smooth one but who am I to say the process is poor.

This is a warning to everyone that accept deals without doing proper investigations about the casino, and for us thag cause around profits because we want to have some free money we never deposited. I don't like when things are too free for me. I will make my deposit to the casino, make my wager and I will gladly takeout the money that belongs to me 100%, as long as the casino is okay, withdrawals is working I will not leave it for another casino without any background.

I could not agree more. A random casino site with no license is often more trouble than they’re worth. So many hack, glitch, even scam often happen with non license casino. So that's the reason i stick to ones with a license to ensure the casino can be trusted, and it help us to decrease the risk to be scammed.

I'm not saying non license casino is not worthy to try, but the risk clearly higher than a licensed casino. Also if we're still caring with our money, the better to be a bit complicated by gambling in licensed casino.

Imagine when you lose your hard earned money even before you use it for gamble. There have been numerous cases non licensed casino scammed its users. So always be cautious.

Yes, many of the gambling sites on this forum. In fact, all the gambling sites that I know on this forum except Freebitco.in (that I do not see its presence anymore) all have license but only few make KYC mandatory.

Example is Stake.com that was licensed since many years ago when it began operation but KYC was mandatory just last year or 2 years ago or so.

You can withdraw high amount of money on Metawin daily without KYC but it is licensed.

There are still others that are like that.

There is, but most of those are just marketing tricks.

We see a lot of casinos advertising “no KYC” or “anonymous casino,” but in reality they still require KYC sooner or later.

You can actually check the TOS, it’s written there, so it’s not really hidden, but yeah it’s misleading. Most gamblers don’t read anything, and they only realize it once they run into a problem, then the regret comes after.

I have thought like you many times but unfortunately the number of licensed casinos is very few. Moreover, nowadays most of the betting is done online and there are more online casinos.  But my question is how gamblers can find licensed casino. Moreover, most of the casinos are very weak in terms of security and make it mandatory to complete KYC. Currently there are many casinos, which are not licensed. But gamblers regularly bet and gamble for loyalty.  In this case I think there will be no problem but everyone should be careful.

I have no knowledge about license, so my question is "are all those licensed casino being audited by the license"?
License has nothing to do with accusation as well IMO, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because from what I can see here is that most accusations against licensed casino is solved without any in intervention from the license regulator.
For me, the most important thing is not about license but about how they casino try to prove themselves that they are reliable enough.
Is there any example when license regulator help gamblers when there is an issue in the casino (at least in this crypto space)?
I'm not against license but I just dont take it as a main reference when I have to choose a casino, I'm afraid if people started to use license as the first main factor when choosing a casino while there is still no guarantee that licensed casino will never be a scam in the future.
