If gambling where the only alternatives would you gamble?

I think that when people get used to something it may seem normal but habit does not mean it is good or safe. If gambling becomes the only source of income it becomes more of a compulsion than a personal freedom which can increase stress and debt and social problems. So the important thing here is not to blame people but to create systems so that they can choose alternatives and get out of risky dependencies.

To be honest just because something becomes common does not automatically make it okay people can get used to anything and after a while it starts to feel normal but that does not mean it is safe or healthy when gambling becomes someones main source of income it is no longer just freedom of choice it starts to feel survival mode that  kind of pressure can lead to stress debt and even problems at home or in relationships.

I don’t think the solution is to blame people life is already hard enough what really matters is creating better opportunities and support systems so people actually have options when there real alternatives it is easier for someone to step away from risky habits and choose something more stable

We have to gamble to survive if we had no alternative, but since our condition does not fall this way, then we can always see an alternative to gambling as our own advantage in gambling and in any other thing we do, we should be well prepared and get ourself ready for other things we can be doing to help us afford to gamble, because not everything comes by gambling if we want to be independent financially.

However I think that if you have a stable income or skills, even if you gamble, it doesn't create pressure, then it is just an option or entertainment but when you feel like you have to run from here, then the fun ends and the tension begins. Simply put, you need to strengthen your base first, Then whether you gamble or not, life is under control and decisions can be made with a cool head.

If we do have a stable income and we do gambling it is better to do it for entertainment, even if we do not have a stable income it is better not to do gambling even if we do gambling it is not recommended to do it for the reason of seeking profit, we all know the facts about gambling that the big chance is defeat not victory. And with the decisions that will be taken better with a cool head, in other words, do not make decisions by default but there are considerations made to prevent bad things from happening. It must be remembered that gambling is a risky thing and if the decision is taken by default it only strengthens the chances of loss.

yeah, so it were in the the age of men with close affinity with divinity, they all had to relate every circumstances and events to the will of the gods and so their fates too. Hence gambling wasn't excluded in that narrative since especially it is a game of chance where luck most prevail than any methods adopted for winning. Nevertheless, I am grateful for civilization which changed a lot of minds and perceptions.

If gambling was the only option honestly it wouldn’t even feel exciting anymore. It would just feel stressful. Part of what makes gambling what it is today is that you can walk away from it. Once it becomes the only way to survive it stops being fun and starts feeling like pressure. The part about people linking wins and losses to gods is kind of interesting though. Back then they didn’t understand probability so it made sense to blame or thank some higher power. Even now people still do a softer version of that. They talk about luck being on their side or not like it’s some force choosing favorites.

Actually having only gambling in existence as the only means of making funds would kill the fantasy enjoyed in moving from one means to another in the hustle for income. Doing same thing over and over again with mixing it with other activities in between the moments can actually be boring.

The new age (age of reasoning and fact) , a scientific one for that matter, which we're living today has really helped in gravitating the minds of men away from the explanation and linking of phenomenon with myth and the gods.
