I have experience rejecting bets before, and there can only be one good reason why the bet was rejected. The reason is that the odds keep on changing. You have to wait for the odds to refresh completely, to be sure if it is available or not. As you said, your favorite was already leading before you placed the bet. As of that time, the casino will consistently be updating the odds, which will affect whether the bet will be successful or not, not minding how many times you click on the bet.

As some other members pointed out, maybe you didn't wait for confirmation... I had a few similar situations with live betting. I place a bet, but I don't wait enough to see it's confirmed... when the odds change, or when is some situation on the court/field they don't accept bets.

So when you placed your bet, your amount was deducted at that moment... But did you check your bets? Was it there? It's tricky because we are talking about seconds, and if you didn't check your bets after placing bet you can't be sure that your bet was accepted in the first place.

It is not clear from your message whether you made a bet or you just thought you made one. When I place a bet, I always go to the "my bets" section and check if it is displayed there. When you place a live bet, the bookmaker may reject your bet because the odds have changed, usually this is confirmed by a small pop-up message. Basically, since you're unsure, it seems like you simply didn't complete the process and placed a bet. But that's just my perspective, based on your description.

From the bolded part, was it not obvious the bet was placed since his balance was deducted initially? If he didn't place the bet successfully, then why was the balance deducted in the first place?
Since it was marked as rejected suggested to me that the bet was actually placed in the first place, then somehow the sportsbook decided to reject it. I've had that experience in the past, honestly even the support couldn't even give me a tangible reason my bet was rejected after it was submitted properly.

There was no clear reason given. I haven’t contacted support yet, I just wanted to post here first and ask if anyone experienced the same thing.

I have had similar experience wher I had placed a bet and was tracking the games live as it was really playing towards my wins but when I had to check to check on the cash out, it came a disappointment on my side after learning that I exited the site while the bet confirmation was still on processing.
So the bet was not successfully confirmed which was my mistake.

The mistake you made was to place the bet and close the app, after placing any bet I always check the slip if there are any changes made, I check for about five to six times before the matches kicks off. One reason why I do this is to make sure that when the bet gets rejected I can stake again and another reason is because I look at the changes in the cashout option just to monitor the bet that I placed.

Maybe when you closed the bet after a while you check again. You don’t play live bet and close your betting account to come back when the game you played has won.

This is normal and can be attributed to a lot of factors like network fluctuations or odd change and it is completely normal since you cannot place the bet.
What OP experienced is not ordinary and possibly doesn't have anything to do with him placing the bet properly since it was placed and later rejected. It was totally and action from the sportsbook and I would love to read from OP the excuse the sportsbook gave him for the rejection of his already placed bet.

Sportbookies can void the bets if there is some miscalculations in the odds but it is not a frequent thing, you can ask their support team for the actual reason. The platform looks new to me, so I wouldn't trust them with my money if they rejected a bet after accepting it, try the reputed ones like stake then you will not face such issues.

Sometimes when a game is live and you want to staked on it, coincidentally that's when the bookie might be locking the market so that no one is going to stake on the game again, they might show you successful at that moment but once you refresh, you will realize that it has already failed but if you don't check, later when you return, you will observe that the game was cancelled because of that.

I think it's normal to have one's bet rejected during the process and I feel you should have done a recheck to confirm your bet was accepted because such experience usually is frustrating and  draining, more like a a game of regrets. What you should've done before closing the bets is to get a confirmation that it's all gone but then send a message to the support team for quick response.

This is very ridiculous and quite unfortunate for you because the reason why the game was rejected was not clearly stated.
If it was an error form their system, I think the support need to tell you something if allowing you to place the bet was due to bug, that will be understandable at least for you to know why your bet was rejected with no clear reason.

Did you checked when it was rejected/dropped ?
Could be not too long you created it due to change in odds, which means it was pending after all.. I’m not a fan of betting on live games so I don’t really know how they handle it but it depends on the casino you’re using.

The timestamps could give a sense of cheating but I don’t think there’s some sort of manual review from human, if it doesn’t meet some checks then it will just be rejected .

I don't really know or understand the reason for this but from what I have experienced my bets were rejected on some occasions due to poor network connection or when the server of the sportsbook is down, they don't normally issue an apology for this though. in your case since it had nothing to do with Internet connection or the server only the sportsbook can really explain the reason clearly to you.

I have experienced rejected bets before several times.. when you thinking bet was accepted only to find that it wasn't placed and it's very irritating, and if you aren't careful you could play the game pissed and lose more money as you aren't playing with your head in the game and trying to make up for the lost opportunity.
Thought remedy for this would be one click bets but the rejection does happen once in a while...

I've also experienced this happening few times sometimes you eventually discover that on the casino your account was defaultly set to reject a bet if the odds change especially if it was a live game because most times in live games the odds are not fixed and as the game goes on closer to the finish the odds change really quickly.

If you are breaking the terms of service of the bookie and you had no intention to do so, then once you place your bet, then the bet is supposed to be final and stay on the market until the match is over and the outcome is public knowledge.

Perhaps you should consider to move onto a different bookie which does not have any need to mess with the bets of their bettors in such an unreasonable way.

I assume they have some section on their terms of service in which they reserve their rights to close positions on the betting market at they please and without giving explanation, so there is nothing to do legally.

Failures in systems that happen right before the opportunity is grabbed are usually unjust and quite disappointing in the gambling game. Other technical problems such as breaking networks or server reboost should not be the burden on the prepared users. I concur that the administrators of the platform are only capable of giving conclusive response to any problem that their customers may be facing. Service providers should be held responsible by us to ensure such cases do not occur again and spoil our well laid plans.
