The sprint starting grid is now set as well. Mercedes and Ferrari are very strong again, while Verstappen had some minor issues and only ended up in 8th place. But he’ll surely be able to make up several positions during the race. I’ve also submitted my predictions now and hope the deadline referred to the proper qualifying and not the sprint qualifying.

I see still Tier 1 drivers being the same and only two teams there, there should be more teams and drivers to choose from the first 2 tiers at least, we can make it 5 teams and ten drivers in total to choose from. The way it is for me is more than Ok but I think it would just add more variance to the standings in the pool. I made my picks once again with only adjusting George Russell as tier 2 winner which I didn't see coming last week, now I see it coming as on the straights there 45 km/h difference from Mercedes to other teams.

Guys we are just less than 24 hours far from the deadline of this grand prix and since it falls into a weird hour for most of us i recomend to not wait so much and submit your predictions.

How on earth do you make picks when you don't know half (I mean all) the drivers in Tier 4? You roll the dice, that's how! Sent in my picks, to hell with F1, I actually did well in last Superbru..!

I was preparing to post my predictions in F1 madness and than I saw leaderboard with me on 4th place.
It should be easier to climb up because Snake did not join this competition, and I only have to fight half of Mafia.

Holy Pope on a hot tin roof, you're right, what's wrong with snake? Too good for this competition?! Let's take them down!

I have submitted my answers! I can always use VAR if I change my mind. But this doesn't look so exciting when we look at the results of the sprint race. This looks boring again but lets see..

I dont like what we are seeing right now, so much distance between teams and drivers....

Yes, next round is when we start to change it in a dinamic way, about having more teams in tier 1 is a NO because always we have a super dominant team as we see and everyone is gonna be picking that driver, so is better to not have so much there.

Im with you the gaps are gigantic right now and this could be another "boring" season for the cars in front, is a shame if this ended up happening, lets see if Ferrari can made something or McClaren or maybe we are gonna need the help of the Max Verstappens hands to give us some emotion and show fighting at top.

I could see FIA taking some measures against Mercedes if this doesnt change.

What do you mean? I mean tiers are tiers, from best to worse team  

I mean that explanations for Tiers written in the topic should also be visible in submitting form.
If you remember I said before they are confusing to me, so maybe you should update them.
Maybe it should be to select highest ranked driver from listed options, and not what is written bellow:

•   Tier 1: Teams ranked 1st-2nd in Constructors' Standings.
•   Tier 2: Teams ranked 3rd-4th.
•   Tier 3: Teams ranked 5th-7th.
•   Tier 4: Teams ranked 8th-11th.

I’ve also read that there’s a high probability these two races will be canceled without replacement this year due to the ongoing war in the region. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the war will end anytime soon, and safety for the teams and all staff members cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Just submitted my picks. Wasn't able to watch sprint qualifying because I was at work. Few hours remaining until sprint race, it will be 5 AM for me. Probably I will take short nap before it.

Yeah, no chance that race can be held there. And unfortunately, there isn't enough time to arrange races in alternative circuits with logistics and other stuff. So, we will have in calaendar 2 races less than planned and  after Japanese GP there will be extremely long 5 weeks break until next race.

It turns out that if Antonelli hadn't been penalized for the collision, Mercedes would have also had a double in the sprint. If Mercedes does the double again tomorrow, the season will be dead before it even starts. For our competition it doesn't matter much because of the tiers, but for Formula One fans it will be painful to watch a season with one dominant team again.
Does anyone know the regulations well and can say whether there is a chance that the balance of power will change during the season?

As expected we have a lot of users with the same picks in the first two tiers since well.... Mercedes dominance is high right now. Thankfully after this race that is gonna be changed a little. The good thing is in the other two tiers we have a "decent" distribution but i dont know why so many people picked Lawson who was the worst pick from past race and Oli Beraman is ok i understand that one.


Aside of it, Sprint race was really fun thanks to Hamilton, but in the end Mercedes car imposse his conditions.

FIA is working to nerf the Mercedes, a lot of teams claims that they are "cheating" with the engine which for me is not true, but i believe FIA is gonna nerf it anyway a little for the health of the competition at mid season.

Wow thats strange for me to hear, I always imagined there must be enough weird races in history for a young guy to win qualification. Well done to him, I guess he needed electric to help his new generation lol

Don't worry about Mercedes I think rules definitely gonna be changed to keep all of us enjoying.
