Breaking : Jonathan Wheatley will depart from his role of Team Principal at Audi F1 team with immediate effect !!

Mattia Binotto will continue leading the team, taking over as Team Principal

Not a move with a lot of sense in my opinion when Jonathan Wheatley is one of the best out there in the role he fulfills and Binotto while being a good one had a story of failure after failure in Ferrari team. This is just the beginning of the Championship and maybe they had some internal issues otherwise is a move that make no sense at all. Of course Audi is not doing as well as they are doing with their road cars which are a key market leader in Europe right now so I expected a whole lot better from them as they had one year to prepare for the regulations as they were not racing in 2025 while preparing for this 2026 season. Well what can I say except time will tell if this was a good move or not.

I dont fully understand what are they doing, i mean was not Binotto also at the same spot after the departure from Ferrari to Sauber? and now is the same team with other name, so why they made this move, and like swogerino said Binotto work is not one to be proud of.

Plus this reminds me of the Eintrach Frankfurt firing Ten hag at the very start of the season in the football. Same vibes

Nah, gossip always gets around whether you want to hear it or not. By the way, good for Colapinto for getting his first point; I think that guarantees him a few races without Briatore's pressure. I don't know if you saw that video where Flavio scolds them like school kids; good Netflix-style drama.

Yes im with you but when the new management of F1 enters the room they were pretty clear they only want show and more viewers and that can only be made giving much more show to them, so they start drive to survive and start to introduce new things into the F1, the numbers support them as far as i know. Which is good and bad at the same time.

Well good luck to them and new fans then, just like football old fans are getting less interested in the authenticity of these entertainments. I still can watch, can still enjoy, but I feel like the breaking point is coming.

Hi guys. the new round is up, as always you can find it also in the second post of the thread below the OP.

ROUND 3 JAPAN GP [DEADLINE START OF QUALY]

For this round we have the first change on the tierm and its crazy to said this but thanks to the crazy results we had in the first two races in tier 2 we have now McClarendrivers and..... HAAS drivers, Redbull is in the tier 3 which now i can expect a lot of people picking Verstappen there but..... what if Max crash or does another shit race? The possibilities are there.

Conjecture is easy without any real knowledge of the whys (speaking for myself, I won't venture that the rest of you lot actually understand what's going on), but I'll make my picks based completely on odds for the next round, why not?

I don't know when the race is but this track is a huge favorite for cars like Ferrari with better aerodynamics than Mercedes and despite that I have gone with Mercedes in first tier, the other tiers I believe everybody will choose the same, Lando or Oscar in tier 2 and Max definitely in tier 3 while tier 4 can be anyone though I favor Hulkenberg over the others. Now as I said before this time break before the races in April but this I see now is on 29 March this very Sunday which promises to be a good race, hopefully McLaren cars do start this time and offer us a triple battle between Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren.

I think it's valid to go by probabilities, especially when we don't have all the information about what might happen on the field. In the end, no choice guarantees points, so it makes sense to try to base your decision on what has the best chance of working out. Everyone ends up finding the method that works best for them.

Yes im waiting for the same to see McClaren being what they have to be and joining the battle upfront or at least fighting for something and dont doing silly mistake with their cars.

Lets see if in this tiny one week break some team can fix something, i really hope to see Aston Martin at least fixing a little they car so Alonso can drive the car without getting a injury.

I feel like after the long break of April we can see some big changes in some teams.

I thought I was going to be first in the submissions, but it turns out I’m 6th on the F1 Madness starting grid. I don’t know the nickname or which forum team number 1, doggywin, is from (I thought we were all old acquaintances.) Anyway, I think the picks are pretty easy to choose. Maybe the fourth pick is hard, BTW, I don’t even remember it anymore, but anyone from there should get me some crazy points.
