It's almost that time F1 will be back soon fellas I know I can't wait hopefully I can get right back into form and keep up the good start. I know this break was a long one but we see how it goes, it's been quite quiet on that side and I haven't been paying much attention to it anyways but looking forward to it regardless.

Yes the comeback seems close but still 2 weeks far from us, for me it seems like a eternity if you ask me i feel like the season didnt start at all and now we are gonna start it after the preseason test which was this first 3 races we just had. Is crazy but i feel that.

I hope we dont have any other interruption in this season, no news about getting the break short?

Don't think we will get any more interruption unless you consider 2 weeks off that we're getting between Miami GP & Canadian GP  , on performance side i expect Meclaren & Ferrari to be close to Mercades ..don't think they will challenge in quali but race pace should be close.

In short, there are only rumors about a date change in Saudi Arabia and a possible adjustment to the Abu Dhabi date as well. We’re still just talking about rumors—maybe they’ll surprise us, but if it’s not on Polymarket, it’s very unlikely to happen.

I really believe because of how they always behave in the world that the arabs are not gonna allow to end the year without a race in their soil, they are gonna try everything to have it and are gonna push for it, but lets see how much money FIA ask for it  , and they hae to pay for all the logistic cycle which is a ton of money but pennies for them.

A number of refinements to the 2026 F1 regulations were agreed during an online meeting between F1 governing body the FIA, Team Principals, CEOs of Power Unit Manufacturers and FOM on Monday.

Qualifying – promoting performance

Adjustments to energy management parameters, including a reduction in maximum permitted recharge from 8MJ to 7MJ, aimed at reducing excessive harvesting and encouraging more consistent flat-out driving. This change targets a maximum superclip duration reduced to approximately two to four seconds per lap.

Peak superclip power increased to 350 kW, previously being 250 kW, further reducing the time spent recharging, and reducing driver workload on energy management. This will also be applied in race conditions.

The number of events where alternative lower energy limits may apply has been increased from eight to 12 races, allowing greater adaptation to circuit characteristics.
Race – improved safety and consistency of performance

The maximum power available through the Boost in race conditions is now capped at +150 kW (or the car’s current power level at activation if higher) limiting sudden performance differentials.

MGU-K deployment is maintained at 350 kW in key acceleration zones (from corner exit to braking point, including overtaking zones) but will be limited to 250 kW in other parts of the lap.

These measures are designed to reduce excessive closing speeds while maintaining overtaking opportunities and overall performance characteristics.

Race starts – enhanced safety mechanisms

A new ‘low power start detection’ system has been developed, capable of identifying cars with abnormally low acceleration shortly after clutch release.
In such cases, an automatic MGU-K deployment will be triggered to ensure a minimum level of acceleration and mitigate start-related risks without introducing any sporting advantage.

An associated visual warning system is being introduced, activating flashing lights (rear and lateral) on affected cars to alert following drivers.

A reset of the energy counter at the start of the formation lap has also been implemented to correct a previously identified system inconsistency.

Wet conditions – improving safety and visibility

Tyre blanket temperatures for intermediate tyres have been increased following driver feedback in order to improve initial grip and tyre performance in wet conditions.

Maximum ERS deployment will be reduced, limiting torque and improving car control in low-grip conditions.

The rear light systems have been simplified, with clearer and more consistent visual cues to improve visibility and reaction time for following drivers in poor conditions.


These final proposals will now be put before an FIA World Motor Sport Council e-vote before their planned implementation.

What do you (or anyone else) actually know about this situation(1)? It’s worth clarifying that, as always, there’s a lot of drama surrounding it. After reading the article, there’s only a single mention along the lines of, “I know an F1 driver who’s interested,” or something like that. In the intercepted conversations, that’s all that appears.

Anyway!!! That’s what happens when F1 drivers go too long without racing… just kidding—that’s sarcasm. The reality is, we don’t even know if it’s a current driver.

This is the kind of thing that comes up when there aren’t races very often. Thankfully, vivekdhyani1 keeps us updated on more serious matters.

^^ As far as i know it's one F1 driver (name hasn't been disclosed) that is part of this scandal , don't why we haven't got name out coz footballers names are leaked on X & some pretty big names are part of this.Apart from this we got tax evasion investigation going on all F1 drivers in ITALY too  , i don't what the rules are there but if it's like Spain then they should be able throw fines & be ok with it.I remember all footballers did tax evasion in spain ,as long as jail time is less than 24 months they let all of them off the hook by paying fines.

The teams have had enough time, I would say more than enough to make fixes to their cars and available data from the initial races of the season should have helped them to identify their issues so far. Most of the teams I am sure should show improvements during this upcoming race and I am very eager to see which team has done better than others. I am sure most likely McLaren will show better results and it would be nice to see them again in the title fight.

Yes I can't wait I'm fired up and ready, will be here in no time too. Hopefully we see better showings from bottom tiered teams lots of value when the right ones come through and start taking over and what not. But I expect to see the regulars still reigning supreme and picking up where they left off but all in all just excited for the restart.

You only see there all that happening all over again, SerieA teams being sanctioned super hard after years of corruption and long investigations and when one conclude a new one opens up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but prostitution is legal thing in Italy, so, even if there is F1 driver involved, he isn't going to face big troubles, except his public image. While tax evasion, obviously nobody isn't going to put them into jail. They're just going to pay all these taxes plus fine and that's all.

This seems pretty good for all of those teams who bring massive upgrades in their cars, i mean they can prove and try diferent aproachs and settings in the car having more time in the track, lets see if we can get some good clues about which team is gonna show a real improvement or not.

Now we are just one week away from the re-start of the show.

Yeah it's crazy to see Mad Max in the 3rd tier there should be some changes I heard Mclaren have brand new improved car, and their saying they expect everybody else to as well so that is a good sign so far. But we just gotta wait till the weekend and see how they improved, I'll be up on any news this week for sure see if I can get any edges on the competition.
