But I always prefer more prizes rather than few prizes. I know some people always like big and few but usually those are whales and the money doesn't matter much to them anyway but us poor people always happy even for small 10th place

Ey guys is not problem, im gonna make a FIA move and im gonna ban him from grading at the end of the season im gonna find something to take him out, and is not unfair is just part of the competition we are only emulating FIA behavior. 

We are gonna hear in the radio the mafia saying "No darbit, no you cant do that" (in reference to the historic Toto Wolff radio to Michael Massi  in Abu Dabhi a few seasons back which makes Verstappen champion).

It's almost the weekend guys, FP'2 start tomorrow and another big race at the historic Silverstone, will we see another British driver win it all come Sunday? Haven't checked the weather yet but man it's been hot as hell here past few days we been getting that heat wave or heat dome over here temps all the way close to 38c feels like almost 50c almost unbearable at times. But as usual we will wait to submit picks closer to qualifying watch some FP gather any data I can and see if I can climb the charts a bit.

Lets see what happens but it seems like yes we have high chances of a brithis winner since most of the drivers are british and some of them with the best cars, so Russel for sure wants to win in Silverstone and Hamilton is gonna push like crazy to have his second Ferrari win in this iconic and historic venue.

Its not gonna be easy and also Lando Norris for sure wants to take the win but i dont feel McClaren has any chance.

And Max,.... he is doing what he can with that car.

Looked at weather forecast, it won't be that crazy hot like close to 40c, it should be between 25-27c, what isstill more than typical English summer. And it will be without rain. Rain at Silverstone in past made many memorable races there.
It would be interesting to see all Brittish podium at Silverstone, but personally I wish luck for Verstappen.
And BTW, there is also sprint race this weekend and it's probably best track for such kind of race.

Thank you, thank you! I am still in it for the triumph! I have this feeling that I am about to have started a never-ending winning series with my last round won.

There are 22 races in total right? I guess five more 1st place rounds would allow me to close the gap to the top. Should be doable for me, lol Given that I failed to submit one round, it isn't looking that bad. I am the only one besides LTU_btc who won two rounds so far. Who would have thought that?

Haha, confidence definitely isn't your problem! 😄 A five race winning streak would certainly make things a lot more interesting and put some serious pressure on the guys at the top of the standings. Then again, I wouldn't mind having a streak like that myself!

Winning two rounds already is a great achievement, especially since only you and LTU_btc have managed to pull it off so far. The real challenge will be turning those brilliant results into consistent performances over the remaining races. But if your "never ending winning streak" has really begun, the rest of us might as well start fighting for second place already! 😉

And yes, this year there are only 22 races instead of the originally planned 24. The good news is that there are still 14 races left to go, so there's plenty of time for all of us to score a lot more points and shake up the standings.

Confidence isn't my problem, lol! Especially in formula 1 pools, everyone is aware I am unstoppable with my inexhaustible knowledge about that sport and the drivers in particular

Where are my manners congrats mv1986 great picks good strategy , only 22 races left dammit I need to buckle up and prepare to fly. I seriously need to revamp my process cause it doesn't seem to be working at this moment man, but that's how it goes sometimes right, sometimes you win and most times we lose

Thank you @Jinetics1111, yes great picks and good strategy. It took me a whole week to sort out all the details, got in touch with the drivers via phone to ask for their physical condition and stuff. Every detail counts in this contest, every detail gives you an edge! You will see this week, next win incoming for me

Ok that sounds good although a bit of rain would be nice indeed, yeah it would be interesting to see all the brits on podium and wouldn't be surprised if it happened they will all want to show out for family and friends for sure, but maybe Max throws a wrench into their plans and ruins the day and wins.

No problem bro gotta give credit where it's due and just appreciate when someone picks the correct drivers when it's hard to navigate certain tiers at times obviously the 4th , but yeah good job and good luck on this upcoming round too.

Sometimes it is simply better to submit your predictions quickly and not overthink them too much, but that is not always the right approach. In the end, it is still sports, and unexpected things can happen at any time.

I will definitely wait a little longer before making my predictions, possibly until this evening after the Sprint Qualifying or otherwise until tomorrow morning. The current trend seems to point clearly towards Mercedes, but the big question is whether McLaren can keep up and challenge them.

As for the winner rewards, I am definitely in favor of Option 2.

McLaren has promised many upgrades exactly here in the Silverstone track and I will definitely not put my predictions before watching today not only free practice but also the Sprint race so I can have a clear understanding as where does it fit this McLaren team if those upgrades indeed will improve the performance of the car. There are a lot of unknown variables like Safety Car which can change things dramatically though having all the data before putting your picks is of great help nevertheless.

It's so true about having all the data and still making the wrong picks or something unforeseen happens like the car dying at the start of the race, or someone crashing into you. There are just somethings you just cannot predict when it comes to F1 most of the time its just pure luck that everything goes right, but most times it just doesn't.

I dont know what are your thoughts but for me every motorsport have much more luck involved than other sports in term of betting, i mean a safety car and engine failures are one thing which happens so often and that makes impossible to really know the output with 100% of certainty (i know you never are 100% in anything in life but you get the point).

Anyways im gonna wait for more data.

I sent in what I hope will be a rather unique selection, based on a completely regular arbitrary pick of first in Tier 1, second in Tier 2, and so on. I've got a good feeling about this, based on my previous placing, punching way above my mediocrity.

Oh and sent my votes in, no need to hide my preference for more prizes, knowing full well I won't place, but believing this is the best way to keep interest long term

Hamilton is fdoing very good in sprints and he is going to be motivated to perferm at his best, but main race can be a totally different story.

Well I'm gonna break the mold here this time around and submit earlier instead of waiting already seen enough and just gonna risk it somewhat, plus there are no more practices anyway so no sense in waiting. We just hope for the best and hope lady luck is on our side come race day I think it should be good as well probably more drama but we shall see.

Not sure, for me there is plenty of sports that looks very random, wouldn't say that motorsport is special somehow. You often can predict race winner or whole podium and there isquitesignificant chance to predict even whole Top 10. IMO, lot of outdoor sports have big luck factor like cycling or most of winter sports
About sprint qualifying, not fan of Hamilton , but it's so good to see him performing like in his primetime.
