Thanks for the tag, I am waiting this last 3rd free practice before deciding, looks like Mercedes is back with both drivers this time also Max is back but let see this last free practice as I doubt McLaren to be one second behind the leaders. I need to see this last practice which just starts one hour from now and I will put my picks in. If Mclaren shows fatigue again then I am going for Max in the second tier maybe for a change.

Thanks for the tag and the PM, though I was scared at first this morning because I thought I’d missed the deadline after all 
I haven't watched it in detail yet, but it seems like it will be a more competitive race. Verstappen looks good, but I still expect a win from Kimi and a potential double, although Russell shouldn't be trusted. The Ferraris are looking pretty good, too. Sent my picks, I hope there won't be any big surprises, as I'm interested in maintaining the status quo

Russell gave almost 1 second to the second place in a lap here while Verstappen struggled a lot in the Q3 to get no more than 8th place in the starting grid. Personally I am happy I trusted my gut to put Russell in Tier 1 as this guy looks like put all of his frustration accumulated during races away here by doing a crazy lap of 1.42.5 when all othere above 1.43 or more. I am also happy for trusting my gut as 3 out of my choices are starting like they should although here tomorrow no one knows what can happen.

Despite it i cant believe how a yellow flag can destroy a magnificent lap for anyone, i dont really like that rule, but is very difficult to change it, if you ask me they have to allow you to have another lap when that happens and you come with records in the mini sectors.(my comment is ab out when Leclerc was with a very good lap and because Colapinto just went wide in a turn the yellow flag appears).

I agree with you that they should change the rule to that yet for Leclerc no matter how good the lap was it could never reach 1.42.5 from 1.43.3 that he did, you simply cannot make up 0.8s in this track out of nowhere. If you look at Russell he consistenly improved his laps one after another and he did more laps than anyone in this qualifier, trying and trying as he saw the potential of the car for this track. Sainz in top 10 shows he really likes this track because last year he qualified 2nd or 3rd here.

When he had 0.5 seconds after first attempt, it already looked huge, but over 0.8 is something what you won't see often. Yeah, there was yellow flag and not everyone were able to complete their fast laps at full throttle, but it doesn't looks that it was factor which decided pole today, Russel was just from different league.

Yeah, big comenack is possible, this track is good for overtaking.
About yellow flag on qualifying, I don't think that there is need to change rules, but even if they would do it, I have no idea how exactly they should change. Giving another attempt when time is already over would be unfair IMO. These unexpected yellow/red falgs on qualifying is what makes it less predictable, you never know when someone will crash out.

Yep, the long straight line will help the Mercs big time.
Plus Mercedes usually has top notch strategy, which will probably help in at tyre change and also in case of a safety car or VSC.

I will not bet on Kimi winning the race, but top5 or even top3 is possible.

I am very happy to be the only one to have found right the first Tier today as it appears only me was bold enough to trust a George Russell who were completely out of shape, yet he came here and dominated everything, even with the two Safety Car restarts one time he played Piastri, the second one was even better as he left stunned also 4 times World Champion Max Verstappen and got to win the race. Well many people found two tiers correct though I don't know from fourth tier most likely from those chosen only Sainz is first at the tier 4, still whatever happens I have not lost that many points to anyone in this race which I thought would do very bad, great choice by me for Russell  .

Ah that happened and he still managed 5th (from 16th?). Bad luck for me in BSFL as this closed the door for any points there, but I suppose staying with the Italian means he should have gained a lot of bonus point from where he started.

60+ points will still be too much of a gap for his teammate, though, right guys?

About the race..... it was super boring until Albon crash and thanks to the Safety car some emotion happens but nothing serious.

And about Colapinto..... man is all your fault you cant launch you in that way.

Damn it, another average round for me, but at least I was better than poor cryptofrka Mafia  
I didnt exepct to see Russell winning this one, but I did expect Verstappen to finish on podium this time.
This was a big blow for Antonelli but I think he is still holding the first place driver standings.

Not much action until these crash, but what happened after these crashes was very interesting. If there would be one more lap remaining, Max probably would overtake Russel, what looked impossible watching his dominace during whole weekend. Though, it looks that Max didn't lifted spped after Bottas crash and yellow flag, this is why he reached Russel. Anyway, +0.196s is closest finish in 20 years.
Great comeback of Hadjar - podium and he was even faster than Verstappen as his soft tyres worked better, but offocurse that they won't switch positions.
Disaster for Mclaren - weekend without points. I read that Norris is asking for 1 race ban for Colapinto. I understand his frustration, but ban sounds too harsh.
