Should You Learn AI or Cybersecurity?

Both are in demand and are paid well. So, either of these two is a good choice. For me, there’s no need to study both of them since they are both good-paying jobs. Also, dividing your attention and focus is not a good idea, as we all know learning either of these two is not as simple as it seems. I’ve tried learning coding and other IT-related fields that suit me best, but they are not simple at all. Well, they are high-paying jobs after all. So, just choose which one you think fits you more, which one do you see yourself doing in the long run.

"Being late" is the problem, because most are very late. Like for example in my young age, I remember everyone told me to be a coder, which I am not going to lie, I learned a bit and I can code simple stuff, like yeah I can make you a website but at this point wordpress would be better for anyone small lol. But right now?

Coders are getting paid smaller or even getting fired, because EVERYONE at that time was told coding would pay very well so they all became coders and now we have too many of them. So, do not be late.

Today time is different from the past because in the past there was no AI and no cyber security and no person thought there will be number of fields but now there are number of fields in which students can enter and they can be successful in their niche . AI demand is high in Europe and these countries are developed countries and people need to focus on their relevent field and Cyber security is top class field because it's demand is high . People should invest their time on practical things which will make them successful and of they will read only then there is no success because success lie on the continues effort. If you will take degree of diploma of cyber then that will not help you to stand up in your field.

Right now the market is absolutely terrible at pricing security correctly as security benefits are diffuse and long-term. Meanwhile AI benefits are focused and immediate.

If you want to make your money fast, build AI products. The funding's there, the hype is there, everyone wants to be first to market. But you're also building on fundamentally shaky ground because a lot are deploying systems that they don't fully understand at a pace that makes proper security basically impossible.

Threat actors are advanced by technology. They're often ahead because they don't have to worry about regulations or ethics or quarterly earnings. They can be faster, more free to experiment, be able to exploit defects the moment they appear. Which is to say, the security problem is growing exponentially.

Can you be able to think across both at the same time, with an understanding of how they cross over and affect one another? The people that can do that, those are the ones that are going to have sustainable businesses when everybody else is dealing with breach and regulatory backlash. But that requires a different kind of thinking as just "which skill should I learn for maximum profit". It involves actually caring about building things that last as opposed to scale quickly and breaks later.

Its useless to continue AI creation if you learn nothing about cybersecurity, so both are crucial in our life so learning them both would be the best option.  Most especially if you want to develop your potentials with the help of AI, then you should learn to maximize learning its usage and advantages because it can be very much helpful to live a good and well productive life.

With cybersecurity, learning to protect your system, networks and data from digital attacks may not that easy but if you have passion with the latest technology and innovations, its best if you can prioritize cybersecurity as well because those threat actors do not fail to evolve their methods and techniques, so as much as possible everyone should be vigilant and should prioritize learning it as well.

And it talked about that the Generational Advantage that the newest Generation have is AI Technology. We know that AI itself has many flaws and is not infallible. Especially in its parts where it can be possibly be exploited. Threat actors also advance alongside the newest technology. Now this got me thinking on which field is more in-demand and most importantly, lucrative, to start a business on?

Whether companies should focus more on AI creation, or more Security to safeguard these new AI technologies? Which of these are more important?

Do you like to create systems or you like to secure the system?
Do you like easy ways to do work or you like the real no short cut way.
Do you want to join a more saturated space or a less saturated one.

To me, I will like to create systems while others secure the systems.
It all depends on your ability and inclination.

Learning cybersecurity can never be possible if you don't learn AI itself first, so any one should learn both so that aside that can you maximize your benefits from AI, its safety and protection as well will be assured if you find time to learn cybersecurity as well.

With this current era wherein high technology and innovations are real, its best to get an edge with cybersecurity. Not only you can protect your own network, but you can also protect the bigger portion of AI system if you have cybersecurity knowledge and skills.

AI is broad. What aspect of AI are we looking at. Al can be used in cyber security as well so if you must learn cyber security automatically you have to learn AI because that's the order of the day. AI is not a stand alone skill it must be channeled somewhere either in automations, mobile app development, sales analysis and more so learning cyber security entails learning AI as well same applies to ever other discipline because every company needs higher accuracy and high performance results.

I would say that in the current context, you need both. I think the best example for this is viruses and antivirus. Many antivirus companies create viruses to sell their antivirus. Although it was used a long time ago. So if you are only a cybersecurity specialist, then others will be much ahead of you using AI.  If you learn to use AI, then in the cybersecurity business, you can be much ahead of others. Another thing is that the use of AI is not limited to security at present but the use of AI has started in almost all sectors, be it agricultural land or the medical sector. So I want to say that the use of AI is a must.
