Do review Sites Still help bad casinos?

I noticed that some casinos already have bad reputation in forums, many complaints, delayed withdrawals, even scam issues. But when you check review sites, they are still listed, just with low ratings.

For me, this is still publicity. Even with bad reviews, they are still visible. New players might still click, see the bonus, and register. Most people don’t really read deep.

Feels like some review sites only care about affiliate money. As long as they earn, they will still list these casinos even if there are already many complaints.

They say good or bad publicity is still publicity, and in gambling this feels true.
I think review sites should be stricter and just not include these casinos at all, instead of giving low scores and moving on.

Review websites are all monetized, they are paid to show those results and reviews so don't expect them to be sincere about the ratings and others, this forum isn't getting paid for saying the truth, everything is based on how people actually felt about an online casino, if there is a slight unfaithfulness they will be called upon to defend themselves. There is no where that is more truthful when we talk about gambling like this forum, that's why it is not safe to use rating websites to pick online casinos.

You have made a very valid point. There is no longer a gambling platform that does not engage in review manipulation, as it exists in virtually every industry. Those high ratings and few reviews can be much more questionable than slightly lower ratings supported by thousands of users. Removal of negative feedback, paid reviews, and promotional bias made it hard to rely fully on review platforms. Affiliate commissions can also be used to further rank the operators in the casino space. This is the reason I am more interested in negative reviews and discussions with users in forums such as Bitcointalk. The actual experience of the players and the regularity of complaints are in most cases far more truthful than five-star ratings ever could be.

Actually, there is nothing else to do at the moment except to do this, it is not only in the case of casino selection that I do this, but when I start any transaction or purchase any product, I try to look at the negative reviews first and then later explore other things and decide whether it can be used or not.

Compiling ratings for various commercial organizations (including online casinos) is a good business! It doesn't require large investments, but it can generate regular profits. 🙋 This also applies to review sites.

However, promoting fraudulent online casinos is absolutely unacceptable! Ultimately, this will lead to huge reputational losses for the rating agency (website). And reputation is incredibly important in this type of business.

In my opinion, it makes more sense to make such ratings paid and rank online casinos based on their real, not fictitious, metrics. That is, honestly and without deception! Any online casino that refuses to pay for inclusion in the rating will not be ranked. Information about such an online casino will not be provided in the rating. Participation in the rating will be paid. In my opinion, this is a more or less fair (though certainly not ideal) system. It's not in all the review sites that every individual comes to give their personal reviews and experience with a gambling sites, some of the comments you see in the review platform was done multiple times by the review website using different account, although they could also post reputable sites which people will discover but since they also post unreliable gambling sites means that they are helping those platforms to gain visibility.

Do people actually go to a review site on there own to give an honest review of a site or casino when they are not paid or scammed? Two things are the major factor that leads to people trying out a review site and it's usually that the person went through the process of scam or that the person was actuallly paid to carry out that review which is what's most likely the case with most of the reviews you see out there.

There should even be a penalty that's to be given to anyone that's found to be promoting or giving a false review of a casino or site that's fraudulent just because of selfish reasons or the pay that comes from it. In curbing negative casinos and reducing them to the lowest minimum, we also should consider taking out any account that gives a positive review to a fraudulent site regardless of the form it takes.
