It is in Bitcoin investment that I have seen people learning to be patient without being forced, nor talked into by convincing them to believe that Bitcoin investment requires a long term investment journey. They all get to know about that by themselves that someone can't be a successful investor if they can't be patient, and to trust the Bitcoin price movement

Current data shows that, although there has been Extreme Fear mood and recent money moving out of ETF but number of long term holders has indeed gone up.
I think that market is in cleaning step at moment when 50% drop off highest price ever is serving stress test that is sorting gamblers out of true investors. With historic big moment of 20 millionth Bitcoin being mined coming in March 2026, move towards total shortage is returning, most helpful way to hitting guessed goal of comeback of 150000 by end of year is to trust code and 15 year path.

I think blockchain is proof that things are documented, but the belief is in history repeating itself and that it keeps happening. So they believe in the value that will continue to rise. I think what's interesting is the value; most people don't even care about the technology as long as the value is good.

Patience is the best asset, but sometimes being patient is not enough if they don't understand when to exit the market. So sometimes they don't understand the best moment to get the best profit. The best asset is mastering the basics of investing and being able to apply them.

It's really hard (and I would say just impossible) that we can see again the huge and crazy increases verified on the first years of life of bitcoin.
History repeat itself for sure (see bear markets ) but this not means that "will repeat in the same way".
Also, the increase in the value nowadays has been drived by new factors, and we don't know in the future if these can bring higher values or not...

Indeed, we know that for an investment to give a good ROI (Return on Investment) it has to take a while. We don't put money into an investment today and want to liquidate that investment next week. It doesn't work that way, especially with Bitcoin. Yes one can get lucky with memes overnight (I had to add that) but definitely not with Bitcoin. It's the same way one's investment can vanish overnight with memes but that can't happen with Bitcoin.

I think faith and patience makes sense when it comes to Bitcoin profit.  Let us see, with faith, comes trust, if one does not trust Bitcoin he will not hodl it and will have no patience waiting for the right time to sell.

I agree that Bitcoin tests people’s patience, especially during big price drops. But I think it’s less about faith and more about understanding what you’re holding.

If someone only buys because the price is going up, volatility will scare them out quickly. But if they understand Bitcoin’s limited supply and long-term purpose, the ups and downs become easier to handle.

At the end of the day, it’s still a risky asset, so people should invest responsibly and not based purely on emotions.

If you keep mentioning risk if one must invest in Bitcoin it sounds as if it's a very difficult kind of investment whereas it's not, the only difficult thing associated with Bitcoin is the fact that you don't invest and expect to make your returns immediately because it is not a Ponzi scheme. For someone who understands his plans for the future and someone who's interested in long term project, I see no risk investing in Bitcoin if you invest with your own spare money.

But despite all that, one thing people also needs to understand is the fact that with time, investing in Bitcoin always proof to be worth the risk, since whenever it experience it's halving, it's price value always kick to passes it's previous All Time High, hence, placing the investor in profit. It is not like high risk, big benefit but Bitcoin is volatile while it is better, stronger and safer than altcoins so comparing between investment in Bitcoin and altcoins, Bitcoin investment has lower risk than altcoin investments have.

Take high risk, chase big benefit (profit) is quite true with altcoins while the results usually are not big profit but big loss.
With Bitcoin, it moves slower but the ROI growth over years is quite upward and very strong. If you can determinant buy bitcoin, hold it for some years, profit would be big.

We will only repeat bearish and bullish, talking about an increase will never be repeated like the past, it is impossible with the current adoption rate which is increasing and the price is getting higher.
I have always believed that bitcoin will always grow better over time with a slowing level of volatility, but bitcoin will always peak again with new factors that we never predicted that will make bitcoin return to the peak.

Another similar post in which the OP was relating the same thing with loyalty-based rewards, which Japanese companies give to their old and loyal employees. The idea is the same, be loyal and have patience in every rise and fall and don't abandon them for more money or other benefits.

It is a test, whoever wants to make money as most of us are here for money alone, sadly haha. They need to hold with patience and be loyal and they should not sell in loss even if bitcoin drops to $14k again, instead they are supposed to buy and show their love.

I actually don’t like to consider consider Bitcoin’s volatility as a risk factor or a major downturn because I know fully well that even if volatility drives the market down, it’ll only take sometime before it skyrockets back up. Rather, I like to consider Bitcoin’s volatility as what really makes Bitcoin spectacular and exciting and even if it’s not a speculative asset like the meme coins and altcoins, it still enables people to attempt to speculate its movements.

Well more like it sound to me like a test of faith even though I have not have a good words to use i feel, it more people investing in bitcoin show that is faith because they feel at the nearest future bitcoin could become more valuable than now so for people having to put their hand money to buy such coins i feel it the believe that they have for it.

Well the part you made mention of patient too is more like you most have lot of patients to be able to keep to bitcoin, it one thing to have patients and it another thing to have faith in bitcoin, if one is not patient enough to hodl bitcoin it not possible to make an investment.
