AI has come to make people become lazy

I was using one of the AI tools to do some graphic design and it came out so beautiful as a result. I was very happy with the result I got through AI because creating it, it wasn't stressful and the result was productive.

 Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

Don't you think it can also become a problem if the company suddenly finds out about how easy it can be through AI? I mean, you could lose your job and many others if that is the case.

I have not really fully used AI. I only use what Google offers and not the whole application, so I don't really have any idea how it works. Still, it looks like the speculations about AI can be right that many people might lose their jobs if companies can do it easily with its help. I think we must be careful when using this new technology. At some point, when it can do our jobs, it can become our problem.

There is a thin line between using AI to improve your performance and to just becoming lazy and narrow minded. It will depend on who is using it. Unfortunatelly, I think in most cases people will really become lazy, while a minority will start using it efficiently and for personal development purposes.

I can't deny the fact AI is temptating when putting us in a comfort zone where everything can be done automatically, without any effort from our side. But that is dangerous on long run, because it means we are giving up on our skills, potentials and capacities.

That alone is proof that AI is very dangerous because if you ask AI things and you accept it's answer is reality, you will be wrong many times, because it gives sided answers.

If you ask the question carefully, then you can make it say anything you want and because of this AI is not the know it all mechanism to use in this case and we should realize it's a bad way to use it. I get why it would not be all that crazy, but in reality we are talking about something that is going to be different, we need to use it to help us and not take it for word for word because that would be our doom.

Saying AI makes people lazy is like telling someone who is using an airplane to another city that he is lazy because he didn't use a horse. Times are changing fast and if you don't follow up, that's when you would loss your job.

Amid the widespread use of AI for graphic design, the fact is that hand design is still needed when revising and doing some additional touches. At least there is a hand touch that can bring a work to life.
I have to admit AI really helps the process faster and even offers alternative ideas but as far as I know and have used AI to create designs, videos etc. the results often feel lacking in emotion or among artists called the absence of depth of expression.
In conclusion, for me AI is only a tool, not a total replacement. As a lover of art, I think that the imperfections produced by hands are the identity and character that make the work alive and have meaning.

We need to stop seeing AI as a threat and more as a tool which it is, to me, Ai is just like a tool a gardener would use to make his job better. Now the client can go to the warehouse store and buy that tool, heck he can even go online and learn how to use the tool but ultimately the time and efficiency needed to get the job dont cant be overstated and that is why a gardener is always going to be hired. The same is with AI, it is a tool that anyone can use but how effecteitnly it can be used will always depend on the individual which ultimately means the job wil always be there.

But that's not how it will work. We have to continue going on with these trends and adopt it. Because if you don't adopt and got discouraged by it.

It's very important to accept the change and never resist it. Those who resist new technologies only do damage to themselves. We can take example of Kodak company and Nokia Mobile, these two were top companies of there time but faced huge losses because they refuse to embrace the new emerging technologies. AI is developed to make work and research easy in the very short cut which does not seem to be a problem.
If I were you that I want to execute a job that'd consume my time and energy when used my personal ability and AI could process it for me as quick as possible with less energy and resources, of course I'll gladly accept to do with with the AI.

well AI is doing marvelously well and i must confess it is improving each day that passes by, and without surprise in the nearest future it will even be more advanced than it is right now. it has helped humanity but then has also inflicted laziness among the youths. it make it hard for people to reason with their IQ. doing complex mental calculation now becomes very difficult. people now prefer to be idle why AI does it all seamlessly. and if this continues many will not have jobs to do because AI has taken away those job since no one can hire a person to do a job that AI can do it perfectly well. my advice is that as human lets be advanced mentally so that we can add more to the society otherwise we will be left without a handwork after the little we might have known has been taken down by AI.

From what you said, I think that no matter how smart AI is, it is still a system created by humans, so they can also be wrong in answering the questions we ask.

And actually, in my opinion, AI does not make us lazy. It's just that some people rely on it too much, so it's more about how we use it. If we use it appropriately, laziness will not arise.

I myself don't often use AI to solve all problems because I know which ones should be handled by AI and which ones shouldn't.

AI simplifies your work and make your work looks very fine and stress free. But also, having the knowledge of how to use AI, by prompting it to give the best result is also important and for you to be able to do that, you need to have the knowledge of the graphic design. AI indeed make people lazy because many people no longer trust their brain for even simple things, AI have become their resort at all times. Even students are not exempted from this, a lot of them rely on AI for research works, presentation and almost all academic aspect.  Even in some instances, some student use AI everything including attempts to use that for examinations. I'm also in line with your statement. AI has indeed made many of us lazy that we don’t want to even put extra efforts in our jobs any longer. I’ve seen many of these cases transpired in the political and formal institutions where supposed social media aides often use AI, without even rewriting or doing a single edit on them and will just post the content like that, looking AI-sh and clearly unpleasant to read and some times I’m like why are these guys not doing the little job of at least rewriting the content to form something more human and appealing to read. Why must you just copy and paste an AI generated content verbatim without giving it a human touch and I wonder if that is not making them lazy the more.

AI by my believe is meant to ease the work for many people and not to compound it or not to expose your laziness but to further make your work not just easier but faster. Even if you are a beginner, you are supposed to use the technology, which is not bad in a very smart way like an assistive technology or aid and not what will do the entire job for you then instead you relax.

To me this era of technology is a little ambiguous. To be honest life has become a lot easier now, the time it used to take to do small tasks is being saved and the opportunities for learning are much greater than before, but at the same time there is a risk that instead of thinking or doing many things ourselves, we are leaving many things directly to technology. In other words it has reached a point where we are not controlling AI, AI is controlling us. So I think completely up to us now if we will use that time to learn and improve ourselves or just looking for easy ways, those who are using it consciously are really getting smarter and those who are just becoming dependent are also falling behind.

I have used it for graphics to learn how graphics can be done, remember there are two ways of using AI, one is like a google search but talking to it, and the other is like a photoshop tool but better. I have used seedance for example most recently, to make a small video, after seeing how 2.0 has made Hollywood levels of movies, and obviously I am not good enough to do that yet but I am just checking it anyways and it is not my job.

If you decide to be that good and learn and be better than it is not a lazy thing, in fact it makes you even work harder because you normally wouldn't do this and instead you start to use it which makes you work on something you normally wouldn't. Like if I didn't use seedance, then I would have been sleeping or watching TV, but now I work my normal job, and I also work on this, it's opposite of lazy.

Funny enough some people are repelling AI that it is making humanity lazy.
But they forgot that the lazy humans will be the ones that has refused to learn different AI tools and update themselves.
I will never be in the war against AI because AI is a life saver.
