The reality here is everyone will like to have a high odd with small number of selection so that the chances of wining will be high since the number of games are limited. No one will want to have plenty games with small odds, it might look sure but along the line some games will not play as expected therefore, fewer games and high odds is what almost every gambler will want.

However, fewer games with high odds come with lower chance of winning because the bookmakers are putting big odds in the probability that they knew will be very difficult to happen, so going for bigger odds can be great because you want to make money as quick as possible with big odds even though the chance of it happening is very slim. This means the risk is very high.

In my case, when I make a parlay bet, I only include teams that are at the top of their leagues and playing against opponents considered weak. I also carefully analyze each team's last 5 games to determine if the big team really has a chance of winning. Regarding odds, the total odds of the parlay should be @3.00 or higher. As for the number of teams, I prefer a maximum of 5 teams per parlay. The more teams in a parlay, the higher the probability of losing the bet.

I don't look at the betting odds, but I don't go beyond four options. I think more than that would be leaving too much to chance. But if I had to choose more options, I would pick the best ones across different sports, based on the actual statistics, not the odds.

Why shouldn't we rely so much on the odds? Because the odds are variables that the casino uses to protect its bets. If they see that a team has been bet on a lot, they adjust the odds for the opposing team to make it a more attractive option, thus tipping the scales.

Game with higher odds are actually very hard to win even though you allocate a very big amount to gamble on this games the possibility of winning could be that slim so, it would be that better to go on lower odds and lower selection of games to allow you winning so quickly, and even if you know that the winning is under chances that wouldn't stop you from not gambling safely.
Go with lower odds and a few games, with this you could be able to win faster while gambling and it would also help you slot than ever.

I chose the 2 options above for 2 different reasons, here it is:

1. Games with higher odds and more number of selections
Usually, I make this parlay betting plan as an experiment, even I've no hope this parlay slip can win.

2. Games with lower odds and fewer number of selections
I'm doing this plan for serious purposes, there's no need to get high odds multiples like @10,00 - @20,00, just @3,00 - @7,00 is enough. As far as I can remember, I had a good win rate here.

This one is my favorite when it comes to play parlay bets, there is no specific reason why I choose this one but I like to with this strategy although the chance is low to win but having fewer selections is more reasonable for me.
The winning chance is low because usually I have to select the underdog teams as the selection which give higher odds but nothing is impossible although the possibility is tiny LOL.
One and a half hour ago, I placed a bet on UCL matches and I made a parlay bets as what I have just said where I choose the underdog teams:

OP, I prefer a combination of 4 matches, 3 with low odds, and 1 with high odds, with careful consideration and thorough analysis. While losses are always possible because winning a parlay bet is not easy, if you consistently bet the same amount, when luck is on your side, the wins can be comparable and even slightly outweigh the previous losses.

If I must bet on a parlay, I like few games on that parlay but I don't sort the odds, even if the games have high or big odds, I don't not like to put it always as a point of consideration to select my parlay, I just pick few games like 1 - 5 at most. Otherwise I will just bet on single game always because it reduce the chance of losses which is plenty on patlay bets. My criteria of selecting parlay is based on big or small odds but what ever enters will determine, if you are only going for big odds even when it seems impossible, that will bring more losses.

I think if you watch in casinos where they allow you to copy other people bets it you will definitely see a pattern from the whales there, the big players. That pattern is a single game or 2 games max in a parlay where the odd in total will be a maximum of 2 to 2.5 and they will bet a lot of money, they are not wrong to apply this kind of theory as it should work, usually lower odds should hit though this for me was not the case as I kept copying these people bets and most of them were losing ones, probably because they thought and relied only on the odds and not information about teams, I see no explanation for that. So the low odds and low number of games in theory should be the best option and despite me losing I think it is the best chance.

I think parlays are just the same thing in which ever way you go with it there's still no guarantee that say you would get it correctly without losing. Although to be honest parlays with small odds are more preferable than plarlays with higher odds because most times we often get carried away by going for a parlays with high odds and even tough they wouldn't want to win by trying to increase the numbers on the parlays. So prefer a parlays with just few games with a small odds because they are more in a higher chance of getting winning in gambling.

I prefer parlays with each matches having at least odds of 1.5 but the matches should not be more than 2 or 3.

I think parlays are just the same thing in which ever way you go with it there's still no guarantee that say you would get it correctly without losing.

Parlay made up of just two matches which are well selected has higher chance to be won that parlay with many matches. I have won parlay with just three matches very well before but if it getting to 5 matches, I rarely win it. I do not think I have won up to parlay that has 5 matches before. I personally prefer fewer selections with solid reasoning behind each pick rather than stacking many games just to inflate the odds. Higher odds look attractive but every additional leg increases variance exponentially. In the long run, I think most players underestimate how much probability drops with each added selection. If I play parlays, I usually keep it to 2–3 games max and only when I have a strong edge or clear value. Otherwise, I’d rather play singles. For me, sustainability matters more than chasing a big payout.

That is absolutely true and must of my bets are parlayed strategically to accumulate high odds while stakes with lower amount.

I actually prefers it because it provides probabilities to win higher profit while it is entangled with the risks that a single failed game out of other games being played successful could ruin the ticket.

Some gamblers may not like it too due to the multiple risks but if they must win higher profits, then they must stake higher amount which also lies the risk in the other hand.

Most of the preferences indicated there are definitely difficult as long as it's parlay. Tried games with lower odds with higher number of selections before but it still even ednde with a loss considering how a lot of these matches are more like rigged. You may hit 10 games on it but there's one or two matches that wouldn't go as planned and I think that's more frustrating considering the lower odds they got and higher chance of winning but they end of losing.

I prefer games with lower odds and more numbers of selections because even though you know it's risky you know that the lower the odds the higher the chances of winning. parlays are risky that's the reason why a lot of people prefer to go for the lower odds because there's an increased chance of winning but when the odd is high it's always very skeptical, although I have won bets like that.

I would say I prefer  lesser odds and few number of selections. But it’s custom, depending on teams playing on the  day of selection.. I could go with higher odds and fewer selection. Fewer selection is actually the part that doesn’t change because I don’t like having too much parlays but the odds are subject to change based on my personal analysis.

I do parlays almost every week but I have a similar pattern when betting multiple parlays.
First I look for clubs with a strong probability of winning in 1x2 as for some big club matches against clubs far below them and I usually include some big clubs here such as Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga or Arsenal in the EPL.

The second pattern I prefer to bet on over, under, BTTS for parlays which I think sometimes perform beyond predictions and expectations. This is also still around the big clubs but the ones with problems like Liverpool, Manchester City and many more.
I always use this as a starting point because for 1 parlay bet there are usually several clubs that I can insert for dark horse clubs or clubs full of surprises so being in the over/under/BTTS allows me to minimize than 1x2.

Although not all of this ends well, I feel that this is still a pretty good pattern that I can do because of the results every week (although there are some losses) but there are definitely wins that I can get.

IN NBA with so many  games, I Do 3 batch of bets in which i selct :

1. The best odds I can get with a very minimal bet.
2. Picking all the teams i know has the bigger chance to win even they are the underdogs.
3. Taking teams to possibly win or will surely win with the +/- on the game.

I dont bet big on parlay but can win bigtime.

None, because parlays increase what is called the juice. The more combinations you add, the more margin the bookie has. So it's a bad idea from the player's perspective and a very good one for the bookie, which is why they promote them so much.

Actually, I'm surprised that in two pages of the thread, no one has mentioned this. Everyone is talking about how this or that combination improves the odds, when in reality, by placing combination bets, what you are doing is improving the house's odds and worsening your own.

Only a few very experienced profitable bettors are able to have an edge in parlays, which I do not think is the case for most of those who have commented in the thread.

The pattern I prefer is the number one and two pattern on the list which is the game with higher odd and with fewer selection , and the game with higher odd and more selection. But this is done Base on my level of bankroll. If my bankroll is big I the number 1 strategy on the list. But when my bankroll is low, I begin to manage, and that is when I begin to follow the number 2 strategy. The 3 and 4 are a no go area because I like taking risk and not wasting my efforts chasing rats.
