Well this is just like an argument between us watching live match between Juventus vs Galatasaray match. Which they have already concealed 1 v 2, and the match is still currently running. A friend of mine asked of having a beer while we keep watching the match as it plays, between us I mean our 3, one person insisted that we shouldn't buy anything that this could Make think so much that if the game doesn't go as we planned it would lead to much anxiety and pain towards us. Although I did bet on the game so I am actually neutral from the game but I am also supporting Juventus to win against Gal.
Now, my question is; do you really think having beer while watching the match could increase your anxiety toward how they may probably play out or result to, could this be true?
Anyone is free to do what they like to do and drinking beer while watching a live match is something we have been doing for years and it has been an addiction and that is why I can leave the comfort of my home to go watch ball outsider where I can buy a beer or drinks with friends and this has been fun all these while. Drinking can bring lot of discussions especially about the match I am watching. This discussion can lead to argument while sipping a glass of drink which can be a wine, whiskey or beer.

It depends on the person, some people always keep their cool after having some beers, they just like having it that way and it has mastered them, but this person is a friend, others should know him too well. If he is someone who has anger issue in nature or always start up a conflict do not allow him to drink, that gathering could turned to something you don't expect. I don't expect a lot of trouble if the gathering is just among three people, thats why i said that it depend on who this person is normally, alcohol is well known for triggering someone even more.

I honestly dont think the beer is what increases the anxiety. The tension is already there because its a live match and theres a bet involved, so naturally emotions will be high. A drink might lower inhibition a bit, which can slightly amplify whatever you are already feeling, but it doesnt create anxiety on its own. If you want talk about the real pressure that usually comes from expectation and how attached you are to the result, like in this case both money and expecation are involved but if you are watching it with the mindset that itss still just football and anything can happen, then having a beer shouldnt suddenly make it more stressful.

Okay I will say you shouldn't be worried about the bear rather on mindset because with some people they can take a bottle of bear to feel relaxed while watching the match while others especially when emotions and money is involved it can trigger their feelings because of how high their expectations are in the match with all this now you can lose self control which will make you tensed because at the end of the match it might not end up the way you imagine it to be.
So I will say being anxious do happen to people but not everybody just for few persons, the only thing is that you should know how to control yourself and also maintain how you react when your under pressure

I can't imagine how you can relax when money is wagered on a sports match, beer is poured into us and we calmly watch the match. I would have been very worried and my feelings would have been too heightened, I might even have screamed at some points, because it would have been extremely important for me to win the bet. To be honest, I don't really want to do this, those days are over and I want to do a game analysis before betting and watch Behan's match calmly, as if I've outgrown it.

Nah Nah, I don’t think buying or drinking a beer really has any effect on the game tbh.. But I can relate to what you are saying though, because alot of persons who gather just for fun to watch a match in my country especially in football viewing centers normally do drink beer alone side watching the match..
But I feel it’s something they just love doing, and may not reduce their anxiety in anyways. And also the outcome of the match will always be the outcome nothing will change that.

This question shouldn't have been asked in the first place. If you do not drink beer, you will be at your normal thought. If you drink beer, you don't need anyone to tell you that it is a stimulant and will trigger.
You don't expect to remain the same drinking beer, you will act with the influence of the beer, except you are the type that is very disciplined and have mastered how to control yourself. That is if you didn't take much.

These are more questions about a person's mental health. If they have any problems, then alcohol should not be consumed, especially during times of severe stress. Among my friends, we spend time with beer and games, but it's rare, but it doesn't affect anyone enough to cause anxiety or other nervous disorders.

I don't see how that would affect your games. They are simply two different things.. we buy drinks or beer while watching match just for the fun and celebrations, not really to help keep anxiety.. the games would turn out how it would. It's just a way to keep one self happy and relax or I'll just say keeping one self busy while watching the match. But I don't see it as a good method If we are going to be cautious of our health as well.. over time, we have to keep our mental health in check as gambling alone affects us in many ways.. if for every game we watch, we have to take in alcohol then it would not be good for our health along the line..

Anxiety? i doubt but your reaction to the argument that goes on while you are watching the game? that is a major course for concern. Just like it is always advised that one should not drink while he is driving and that at the same time he should not be found doing things that are capable of leading to an outburst of emotion while under the influence of alcohol, i think it is not proper to drink and while watching games against a reveal team because it can lead to heated argument which can result to acting in a wired manner because one is under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol is not a good thing for me and i don't take it at all because it gets you out of your normal state and can course you to do what you would not do on a normal day. there is a thousand advantage that comes with watching live football match without being influenced by alcohol.

I think every player will determine for himself how much he needs to drink beer during a match, and I won't advise anyone to do it one way or another, but personally I like to drink a little to enjoy the game moments in sports and feel pleasure when the excitement captures me and I get pleasure from watching. Especially when there are big sporting events in the world, then betting and watching the game I feel as if I am a part of this grand event. In short, beer is more likely to increase my anxiety than if I didn't drink it.

I think a beer would more like calm me down, if anything. But mostly I avoid betting on games I intend to watch anyway. If I have a wager on a side i get way to annoyed when my pick makes too many mistakes, misses chances to score or plays lackluster defense. And IF I make a bet it's 95% on basketball. And since I love basketball I don't want to get an annoyed feeling about it which would spoil the fun of watching.

It’s going to increase your cholesterol for sure. It might also increase the anxiety of the ones around you if you start acting differently due to alcohol intake. Some get noisy or violent when too drunk so better to watch how much we drink.

It is true that when a gambler drinks beer at some point in his gambling, his excitement increases. It is true that drinking beer will have a greater effect on what he wants to do. If some people are on the verge of winning, then after drinking beer, the excitement of winning can increase. In this way, those who are on the verge of losing in gambling can become more depressed. In other words, drinking beer affects the gambler's mood. When I place a bet, I do not drink because if I do, I can make a lot of mistakes in my decision-making. If I place a bet with friends for fun, there is no harm in drinking, if it can be kept under control.

First you are not specific about increasing the anxiety because we don't know the dimension you are going or talking about so I can not just conclude but I will want to say that taking beer which is alcohol won't make you feel bad even if your game or prediction is not going as planned instead it will weaken your body system and you won't too feel anything and you will be somehow happy and excited over nothing until the effect is gone though this is what I have seen in people that takes alcohol so may be they wanted to take it so they will be in this state I talked about.

I don't think drinking beer while watching a match would increase your anxiety about the game or its outcome, but I believe your friend's anxiety and tension were primarily related to the score. I don't expect the beer to have any bearing on this.
This is certainly related to people's habits and drinking habits. Someone who is accustomed to drinking won't be affected by a bottle of beer, and it won't increase their anxiety or tension. However, some people might not be accustomed to drinking, so it would affect them more than others. But generally speaking, beer is one of the milder drinks.

I mean, drinking wasn't going to be a good idea anyway, so I wouldn't go do that if there was no need to, but if you enjoy drinking with your friend, I don't see any reason why not, since you might want to just enjoy and bet for entertainment. It's probably going to increase your anxiety at some point if you are losing the game, but for sure you're still going to get that even if your drunk your going to get frustrated, sad whatsoever if you lose the game, it is just going to be much worst for sure since you might end up doing a bad decision when you're drunk.
For me, it doesn't matter as long as you like doing it, but I guess what we need to avoid is having an excessive amount of beer to the point where you are not in control of yourself anymore, especially if you have a history or you're getting aggressive if you are drunk. Everything is okay as long as you do it moderately and responsibly, just like betting. Still this are just anxieties the winning or losing is still depending on luck.

I don't think drinking beer will cause anxiety during the game; it's more likely to cause euphoria, and at that moment, if the opportunity arises, you might end up betting more, you know, on the excitement, which in the end could be positive or not.

This question does have Yes or neither No...it depends on individual ways of understanding gambling or watching a live match, they're people who do not take anything why watching a match.... Why they're people who doesn't skip drinking why watching a match....watching a match is like catching a cruise, so some people enjoyed it with drinks why some people does like drinking why watching a match...so as it's said before that it depends on individual perception..

Offcourse Yes. A story was told of a principal who passed on in the curse of watching an African cup of Nations years back. While watching the match it was so intense and so.much expectations from the team his BP rose and collapsed and that was the end of all. The intense scream from the fan base and the much expectations would put anteousness and tension on you, causing anxiety as well.
