my question is "will crypto everly die?"

I think it will just keep on living, only some branches and leaves (projects) will wither and fall.

The real question is:
Who’s still building when no one is watching?

Only the strong builders build during the bear market.

Those who are still liquid internally to keep going are the strong builders and will probably the ones that will survive. I think integrity with what they do will be the greatest asset these projects will have because in the past month there has been numerous projects that slowly died but as I've said a project should be liquid to keep going or else they'll in it for breakdown. This dump event late last year and just early this year is brutal tbh, if another massive dump event happen there might be more capitulation will occur.

Strong builders keep building.

I already miss this time, where it's kinda a cleansing of the entire market. Especially the scams all over the place will start to fade away.
But the only downside on this is some trader, where some trader don't like this kind of market, as it is not profitable for them.

Also, now the A.I. is highly available to everyone, especially in software development, where A.I. is really helping a lot of developers now, so for sure expect a lot of projects and innovation to come in the next 2-5 years.

Yup, when no one's around and the market is thought to be dead by these speculators. No one sees what you're doing but, they'll see the results with what you've done when the winter is done. The encouragement that people need to have isn't about the current situation of the market. But with what you're looking to see in the next few years. It's not that much to wait for it because if you've been prepared and never stopped accumulating. It's all worthwhile and everyone approves of that, no one cares if you've been buying but people will be curious if you've sold during the bull run.

I would say working on something during these bear periods, so you are ready for when the bull comes is great, but timing is very important. If you work on it now and make it public then it will be killed and you are not going to have any chance to make any money from it.

Whereas if you are smart and wait until the next bull comes and publish it when everything is getting attention and hype is big, then you could make money from it. A friend of mine shared a project in 2023 for example and it basically didn't get a single cent investment, it was like 0.3 bnb or something, another friend did it at 2021, he got 150 bnb funding as a start, and kept making profit for a month or two after that as well. During bear market that is when you know the project that are really there to stay and those that won't survive. As far as I know about the market; it is something that doesn't respect any projects and of course all project are solely affected, and here you would see those who are ready to hold and keep topping their bags, and those who doesn't know that value of Bear market could be there panicking over the market especially those whom that are known to be amateur in the space they wouldn't want to witnessed any lose while while holding Bitcoin. These sets of people follows Bitcoin when the price is increasing, to invest and whenever the price turned against them they also dumped. As investor you can engage yourself through DCA to enable you accumulate some fractions of Bitcoin to monitor how we could be swimming on the red Sea.

You cannot stop developers from building in whatever market conditions we are in, because this so-called Crypto winter is not unique or alarming.
There's no stopping developers because the community is still strong, the market is poised for a big shift, and the potential is still there; everything looks positive, and those who are not will be left behind.

And that is also part of the cycle, every version if it, there will be some crypto project that is going to die or lost it's hype and then a new one will pop up just like what we have seen in the last bear/bull market.

So we should be expecting that something along the way moving forward, a new project will appear maybe in the bear market and started slow. But then there will be big shift as investors might find the project really good or there will be entities that are going to jump on the bandwagon.

Just a matter of time for this developers to come up with new ideas that will stir the market again.

I don't know why it's always a big issue whenever Bitcoin falls. Ain't we used to it? I mean, it happened many times in the past, or maybe those who are making this a big issue are those who have not experienced this kind of fluctuation.
I have Bitcoins, and yet I don't mind what is happening. Why? It's simple, this is not a rare thing to happen. It will fall and go back up, and then do it over again. At the back of my mind, I know that it will go back up. There are investors who are in the shadows waiting for the right moment to buy, and maybe this is not yet the price that they want. They want it cheaper to maximise the profits in the future.

You are conscious of the fact that Bitcoin rises and falls because you are a long term investor and you know just what you want out of your investment. For the newbie who is trying out too many options and making mistakes, or making the wrong decisions they will snap and freak out over a fluctuation especially one that has seen bitcoin drop so bad. Overall, it boils down to knowledge of the space in which we are in.

after crypto winter comes crypto spring and then crypto summer. there's nothing scary about crypto winter itself. what matters is how you use it. crypto winter has become a normal part of crypto life and you just need to accept it.

if 10 years ago someone had said that Bitcoin would cost above $60 000 and that would be called crypto winter, they would have been considered a little nuts.

It is just that our emotions do messes up our analysis on which you would be having that hindrance on what you should gonna do until the market would be making out such recovery then this is where you would be ending up on having a regret just because you didnt do on what you must do.

There's indeed a crypto winter and thats why its ideal that you should be having a reserved funds for times like these because once you dont make up some DCA or buyback then you would be missing out the opportunity.

I've read so much about crypto lately(bitcoin especially) and including price actions during each cycle and season and i think crypto have experienced almost everything we're sceptical about at the moment. After Mt. Gox collapsed in 2014 and BTC crashed, many declared Bitcoin dead but that winter produced hardware wallets, better exchanges and research that later led to SegWit and Lightning. The 2018 ICO crash did the same when hype died but DeFi infrastructure was quietly built. Bear markets don’t kill crypto, they filter it.

These new projects coming forward in bearish trend will not gain traction at the initial stage but once the trend reverses, these projects will be the first choice of investment for a number of people and that is when these projects will start blooming. There have been thousands of projects from which only a couple have succeeded. This is not a surprise to us as we have seen this from the beginning of this era. Projects will come and go but only projects backed by strong developers will survive the winters. Choosing a profitable project has turned out to be a task for us.

There are no limitations on idea in this world but execution lacks. People have brilliant ideas, but they do not really take that efforts to turn this idea into a project and their idea remains untouched or in worst case scenario, stolen by others. Execution is the key for success and the developers who have the executional skills will surely build excellent projects.

You are indeed correct when you say that there no limitations, but you have to think that this market works in cycle. And just like when it all started, from the ICO craze in 2017 to the latest one, they will have their own time in the market, which what we call hype.

So maybe in crypto winter they will all have that kind of news and so they grow, but in the second half when there is fatigue already, sooner or later they will have to go down and some of that projects might die naturally just like what we have seen in the past.

Even if the execution is perfect, everything is in a cycle, market just being market.

Crypto winter will affect the entire market. Even if any project has potential, it will still fall in terms of monetary value only because the entire market is crashing down. Top coins and projects will be the first ones to get hit as people actively trade with these coins. Other coins who do not have higher volumes will just follow the trend but will react a bit late.

Crypto winter has been proven to wipe money from the markets but only to generate new fund flow. This has been going on since a decade now and people are now prepared for these market movements. There is nothing much to worry about if we have the ability to make informed decisions.

Usually, crypto winters halt the markets and only a handful of people are still building. These people will build recession proof projects which can be trusted but yet investing in them in this season might be a task for majority of the community.

MSTR is now the most shorted stock as a % of market cap. This is obviously a sign of how bad things are for them currently, but it is also is bullish in a way. All of these shares will need to be bought back to close out the shorts. When the market does eventually turn around, this could lead to a violent increase in price as shorts rush to cover their shares.
