Day in and out we here the voice and sounds of innocent citizens crying for help and rescue from the hands of individuals and leaders that keeps deaf ears to there cries when they have the said law that is meant to be there strength but never works for the poor but only made for the rich and wealthy, if all this be then is the law that is meant to direct the actions of the citizens of the country or are the poor not among the citizens, that is a question that have not been answered.
With the way things are going now I will be tempted to say without law and orders a nation can stand. There is war everywhere, is there no law to direct the actions of the leaders that are causing war all over the world, we all know there is but nothing can be done to them because they are not the poor.

We have just gone from a time when the physically strongest took advantage of the physically weakest to a time when the most powerful and most influent ones take advantage of the average citizens who have no power.

Having laws in the country makes you social and empathetic towards others. You know what is harmful to the society and the country and what should not be done. Just as a state has the responsibility to provide security to the general public, so too does a citizen have the responsibility to respect the law. And this is the primary feature of a welfare state where mutual respect is created through mutual cooperation.

Go to world cities like Paris or New York City and notice they have the most laws and the least empathy towards one another. Mind numbing legaleze will never give anyone empathy but it sure can take empathy away by the sheer confusion of the nonsense involved in that.

Too much freedom is also dangerous. We still need to abide by the law for the peace and order. Because without such, we're seeing people that are also abusing their freedom and justifying the bad things they do and it all points out to the freedom that they have.

Look at the Index of Economic Freedom. Notice all those countries suffering from too much oppression at the bottom. Now look at the top of the list. Notice all the prosperity resulting from the freedom. You are flatly and totally wrong about having too much freedom. Name a society that suffered because it had too much freedom. I think the only suffering you'll find is the end of that freedom, not a society suffering from the freedom itself.

Humans will live as lower animals if there is no law. Law is meant to control our behavior, tame violent humans, those who will do unspeakable things to their fellow human without remorse. With lots of crimes happening in the society today, with the exist of laws, imagine if there is no law what will be the case. Law and order has not been fully effective as most individuals bypass the laws, most especially those in power but at least it has reduced the problem of the world. Law has tamed the greedy and the wicked.

I think your explanation is correct in the current context because a state is created to provide security to the people. In the past, when people did not have a state, they lived collectively to keep themselves safe. Those who live as refugees due to war and other reasons do not have their own place or they do not have any nationality and they cannot even live safely, especially they cannot identify themselves as an independent nation. But we have a country and nationality and can speak freely and we also have our own property. All this has been possible under a state law and you are following and respecting the state's rules and regulations. If someone is not a citizen of a state and does not respect that law, he can never live a comfortable life.
