There is definitely no way a society can survive without laws. A society is a group of people co habitting together and the oy way for them to live orderly, laws are important to be made. I read some post on here, where some people claim that the law is meant only for the poor or weak in the society, because they think that the law does not guide the rich and the influential. They might be right to an extent, but they need to understand that it would have been worst if their is no lae at all. Gone are the days when the strong kills the weak and take over his things, thats because their were no law then, but with law in place now, it will not be easy for someone to act that way anymore, so I really think that laws keep society together.
If those who maintain law and order and are involved in the judicial process do the right thing, do their job responsibly and honestly and make the right decisions, then the gap between the rich and the poor will not exist. If those who enforce the law are corrupt, then only the rich can benefit in some cases. Because many things can be solved with money. But even then, one day they will also be punished. Otherwise only the rich people in the world would be rich and powerful , they would be able to move freely and do all kinds of criminal activities and this would have a negative impact on the poor people. Some country based problems can be observed. I do not deny this. Because I see many incidents in my own country where no rules and regulations actually work. Those who have power are conducting their activities independently and do not care much about anyone's harm. Even then, from the social system of the whole world to the state, everything is controlled within a system just because there is a law.
