I’m okay with Netflix if that’s the platform since that seems to be the trend now. But regardless, they know what they’re doing.
They hype the crowd and here we are again. My only real concern is whether the fight will actually be entertaining or if it will end up like the previous one, just boring.

Pacquiao wants to take revenge and so that won't be any boring at all. But as for Floyd, he might just do the same strategy and will kill time after hitting good.

So I hope that it won't be as boring as the first fight and it still depends on the strategies while they're inside the ring.

Both has many fans and we all want to win the boxer that we're counting for. Netflix will definitely rake a lot of money from this fight.

The revenge motive behind Pacquiao will become a massive burden and this fight will be much livelier and enjoyable. We are supposed to find Floyd more lenient in his conversation then merely to justify and temporise as in his initial encounter with us. With the existence of such a giant platform as Netflix, the content of this spectacle is sure to be packaged in an opulent way and enrich the existing global sports entertainment market. Strategic maturity of every segment of the ring will decide who is going to appear as the real winner to the eyes of his faithful fans.

Even with the eyes of the fans that Pacquiao is going to be the winner like the last fight they did.

Floyd keeps on flaunting that he's the real winner of their match and that's why it's not a problem to him whatever the people talk about against him.

Because the title remains on him but on this one, we'll see the real decider but even if Floyd losses, this will only give him a draw.

^^ You're right, I think we can all agree or at least majority of us here could smell from afar why suddenly Floyd is winning to rematch Pacquiao after so many years or not wanting to or even criticizing Manny for mentioning his name in Pacquiao's many interview about the re-match not happening. He wants Manny not to used his name. But it's a total flip now, he sees that he can make a ton of money here and could potentially win the rematch and proved that he is the best.

Do you want me to believe that he is fighting for the fun of it ? Probably because he loves boxing, I think the best scenario I can look at here is because he wants money, because I don’t understand the reason for waiting after so many years before he could decide about the rematch of the boxing fight that happened back in 2012 if I’m not mistaking, okay I believe he has so much money and and he has so many investments in real estate, then he should give whatever proceeds in gets from this fight to Charity, then I will believe that he is doing it for passion and not for money whatsoever.

I'm not sure if that is the correct figure, however, seeing a lot of news about Floyd supposedly issue with money, then this could be some sense of truthfulness in this report. As for Manny, it could have been that he made some bad investment in the past, but he still has a lot of businesses in the province being handled by Jinkee Pacquiao. So he could still be a lot of money in him. And remember that he once run for the President of our country and then try to run for the Senate again, but he lost. So he might have used a lot of money back in his bid for a public office.

And there are even rumors going around that he’s facing bankruptcy, which is why he keeps taking these fights, but that’s really none of our business. As a boxer, all he needs to do is deliver an entertaining fight, which honestly wasn’t always the case when he was still active. Maybe now that he’s older, we might finally get a more entertaining version of him.

I think everyone will risk more and it will change picture of a fight if he feels like he is losing or his corner says he is losing the fight. The intensity of passions during the fight will increase if it will be obvious that   one is losing and have to do something to win. Any fight that looks close or is about to end as draw is less entertaining to watch then a fight where one is obviously winning

We can compare it to Shakur's style, wherein you can hear a lot of criticism of him and there are fights of him that the fans boo's him because he is not engaging or the fight was not like their type of Shakur's defense and then pot shooting his way to him in the judges scorecard.

Yes you might be right, they will not get the total money as they have to pay a lot of their supporting staff that is crucial for their success. But still, they will be left out with good money. It's just a question on whether Floyd invested it in the right way.

It is very difficult to calculate someone's net worth (unless the individual being mentioned is Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg, who owns fixed percentage ownership in publicly listed companies). I would trust Forbes to some extent, but other sources are highly questionable. Whatever his current net worth is, it will change a lot by the time this fight gets completed. Mayweather is expected to earn somewhere between $220 million to $275 million from this fight. Even of his current wealth is around $300 million, it means that his wealth will increase by close to two times.

The point wasn't that he was close to bankruptcy, the point is that with his spending habits, and the costs of living he has, he can't sustain until he retires fully. So he can't retire, because he needs to keep making money, so even though he is nearing 50 years old, he is still doing exhibition fights like these to keep making money.

A smart person would invest into things that would grow his fortune, he spends it on silly stuff to end up with basically nothing eventually. He can't stop, he can't keep spending same amount without earning, so he has to keep fighting. I bet you that he will have fights after this one too.
